About: Working in the animal welfare field for a few years now has allowed me to obtain lots of skills other sitters may not obtain. Need to give your pet medication as you are gone? No problem for this experienced veterinary technician! Have an additional set of ease, for you know that your pet is with a sitter that has been trained in first aid, CPR, and even anesthesia! I know what to look for when your pet is staying outside of home. With time I have for my online college courses, I can have the best of both worlds. Sitting your pet while also furthering my education simultaneously. Your pet will truly enjoy my two sided fully fenced backyard! Lots of room to run around and chase a ball or chill on the patio if wanted. Fortunately, pets are allowed on my couch as well, allowing them to snuggle and have comfortablity in my home.

About: For about three years while living in Denver, my partner and I were fostering kittens and dogs in our spare time (and loved it)! I own two social cats (foster fails) who I've taken care of since they were kittens. My partner has a traveling role for work, so I haven't been able to foster animals like before- I need my animal fix! I signed up to be a pet sitter because I genuinely love animals and miss taking care of them. I'm flexible with my schedule! I'm currently inbetween work contracts. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. Trained my dogs throughout the years and lived with all different sizes of dogs. I typically have done in home pet care or drop by pet care previously. I have very flexible hours and can stop in daily as needed. I am usually only gone for a few hours at a time but home much of the day. I have a house with a yard that dogs can play in, however, it is not fenced in but still a good yard. At my house we have a bernedoodle who loves other dogs

About: I have had a love for animals since I was a young child. At the age of 8, against my parents wishes I snuck in an abandoned cat and it ended up being where my love for animals began. We have had many types of pets since then. Currently we have a 3 year-old German Shepherd whom we rescued from a shelter at 4 months of age. We also have a 1 year old Australian Cattle dog who is super energetic. I love spending time with animals, dogs in particular, because they are so playful, happy and full of unconditional love. I am responsible, caring and will take great care of you pet because I know that they are not only “pets” but are also members of your family. I will care for your pet like I would care for my own pets. I work full-time as a nurse practitioner but just started working some days from home. I figured, why not do something I love while also getting exercise at the same time. Note: the only breed of dog that I will not board in my home are pitbulls. My daughter had a traumatic experience with a pitbull so she is very triggered by that breed. I will gladly watch pitbulls in your home and care for them outside of my home. I think they do get a bad reputation for being an aggressive breed but due to our experience, we unfortunately don’t feel comfortable having them around our children. I am able to mainly available for pet care on the weekends. I am able to accomplish most evening/late evening or very early morning walks. Every other Tuesday I work from home so am able to break up my schedule this day. I care for my dogs in my backyard, which is fenced in. She is able to run around freely because we do have a large yard which allows her to burn off her energy. We also play fetch and she is able to spend a lot of her time running around there. We also go for walks around the neighborhood.

About: My name is Ashley, I’m 30 years old, and currently a third-year medical student on track to graduate and become a doctor in two years. Outside of school and studying, I enjoy caring for animals—especially dogs. I’ve grown up around dogs since I was 8 years old and have had three of my own, who now live with my parents. To me, dogs are family, and I wouldn’t trade them for the world. What sets me apart is my deep understanding of health and responsibility—skills I’ve developed both through my medical training and my lifelong experience with dogs. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, including seniors, and I’m always attentive to their behavior, comfort, and safety. I treat every dog as if they were my own—with patience, love, and care. As a current medical student, my schedule can be demanding, but I make time for the things that bring me joy—and caring for animals is one of them. I’m available part-time and can walk dogs or provide pet care on a daily basis, especially with some notice in advance. My study schedule is flexible, so I can plan around appointments or daily routines. Pet care is a great way for me to take a break, get outside, and do something meaningful—so I’m always happy to make it part of my week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always aim to maintain the pet’s usual routine to help them feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. I make sure to follow all instructions provided—whether it’s feeding schedules, medication, walks, or playtime. I treat every home with respect, keep things clean and organized, and ensure the pet has fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of affection and attention. I also send updates and photos if requested, so clients can feel reassured that their pet is happy and well-cared for in their absence.

It was also during this time that I first started caring for clients pets and homes while they traveled. Unfortunately due to health issues and the onset of Co-Vid, I was forced to close my shop. I do however continue foot reflexology massage for die hard clients in their homes today! My love for creativity also lives on in a hobby turned hopeful business of painting small pieces of furniture. A particular niche of end tables turned into pet beds is becoming my new favorite 🤩. I would love to schedule a meet and greet with you and your pet! It is an essential part of the process for first time clients, as forming a bond with your pet and establishing a good fit for everyone is a top priority! I currently work part-time both from home and out of clients homes as described above, and have flexible hours. Traveling more than 8 miles from my home base of Villa Park for dog walks and drop ins are a bit more tricky, but overnights are not a problem for a distance up to 15 miles. While I currently am not able to board animals at my home, a good portion of my business is caring for them in yours. They are treated with patience and compassion, and receive all the love and attention that I give my own with safety being my number one concern. I will look after your home and be happy to help out with any extra needs you may have (water plants, check mail, take out garbage, etc.)

About: Hi! My name is Alison. I have fostered for various rescues in the Chicagoland area and now have a pup of my own (lab mix). I have experience with all sizes and types of dogs from pit bulls to boston terriers. I work from home with a flexible work schedule. You can usually find me enjoying my lunch break with my pup Luna. I love all dog breeds and can't wait to meet your pup! I grew up with dogs and fostered dogs as soon as I could until I was ready to have my own. Having a dog is second nature to me and I couldn't imagine life without them! I work from home with a very flexible schedule. I love taking breaks with my dog and getting outside as much as I can during the day. I am not currently watching dogs in my home but I will always make sure, wherever I am, your dogs safety and environment comes first.

About: I treat my dog like he is my child and do the same for yours. I have lived with dogs my whole life and I am not afraid to get my hands dirty, if your dog has any special needs I will take care of them. I love long walks with my dog and if your dog does too he will be well taken care of. I have a fenced in yard so playing fetch will be great for them. I live in a ranch style home so stairs won't be a problem for older dogs. The bigger the dog the better. I had a great dane for many years so big dogs are not a problem either. Your dog will never be lonely here. I am currently a stay at home mom. I will have all day to care an play with your pets. I am also available on weekends for boarding. I have a fenced in yard and my dog Sabbath gets along great with all the dogs he meets. Your dog will never be alone.
