Brian did a wonderful meet and greet with my boys (two newfoundlands) and walked them today without me..that may seem like a strange thing to say but Byron (my younger boy) refuses to go on a walk for anyone but me - not even my husband! He was perfectly fine on going on the walk with Sinjin (my older boy) and Brian. No temper tantrums, no refusal to walk. NONE of it. Brian took them on a good walk, they had fun and their were no problems.”

About: I’ve taken care of my own dog for 15 years and have been entrusted to help walk or dog sit other families dogs. I love taking them on any length walk and or playing with them all while making sure they are hydrated and happy! I am free most days with some appointments at periodically through the week for work. I have a lot of energy and time so spend with your pups and make sure they have had great walks! I prefer to walk your dogs on your own neighborhood and will follow any instructions or guidelines you would like to give me regaurding your doggies.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life, and caring for pets has always been a passion of mine. I have a 4-year-old Border Collie who means the world to me, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I spent over a year working at a doggy daycare, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. My responsibilities included supervising playgroups, feeding meals, administering medications, cleaning kennels, and making sure every dog was safe, comfortable, and happy throughout the day - and overnight if boarding. I now work at a small local pet store, where I’ve continued expanding my knowledge of pet care, nutrition, and enrichment. I love using my experience to provide attentive, compassionate care that’s tailored to each pet’s individual needs. I currently work part-time which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to offer drop-in visits and walks throughout the week depending on your pets schedule. Every pet is unique, so I do my best to keep them comfortable by following their normal routines as closely as possible. Whether that means walks, playtime, feeding, medications, or simply getting loved on and spoiled, I’ll provide attentive, compassionate care tailored to your pet’s needs. I also understand how important peace of mind is, so I am more than happy to send photo updates and messages during each visit!

About: My entire life I have been raised alongside animals of all kinds, so I have a genuine passion for their care. It was always a responsibility of mine to help take care of our own at home pets as a kid, but eventually I moved up to helping out other family members, friends of family, neighbors, friends of friends, etc. with their pets while they were out working, on vacation, or just out on the town for the night. This included making sure pet was safe, happy, fed, relieved of any potty breaks, had constant access to water, and was enriched with plenty of play time and some treats! I'm currently working part-time, so I'll be available Sun-Mon, & Wed-Thur between the times 9a-3p. I can make some exceptions here and there for different times during those days, just need more information of time and reason. I am able to come to you or vice versa, there is a perfectly quiet and spacious dog park right here in my neighborhood. I do have a Dachshund and cat at home. Kitty is very friendly and playful with dogs XS-L, the menace of the house is the Dachshund. He is very temperamental with other dogs, but has never been aggressive. If the circumstance is me coming to you, I will absolutely respect any rules of your home, just give me the run down and I will make sure to dot my I's and cross my T's!

About: Pets have been my life ever since I was five years old. I wasn't a caretaker at that age, but I've fostered a close connection and understanding towards pets ever since. As I got older, my responsibilities grew in kind, and I became much more involved in the day-to-day care of dogs and cats. I've been fortunate to be a part of six dogs lives, and each have brought different temperaments, attitudes, and energy levels. Four of the six were rescues, so I understand the patience and attentiveness needed to properly address their needs and quirks. I also helped raise a 10 week old puppy into adulthood, so I am very familiar with what it takes to handle the stubbornness and energy of a young pup. While it's been some time since my cat has passed away, I likewise share a similar understanding to their needs and socialization. It requires a different approach than a dog but I am happy to adapt to the pet at hand and ensure they receive the best care possible. I have returned from a term of service abroad in the Peace Corps, and am currently searching for employment as I settle back in the states. I will be living in Washington for the time being before I set off to grad school. As such, my schedule is fairly open for dog walking and check-ins. Some of my fondest memories abroad was walking around the countryside in my spare time, so I'm excited to continue that here with some new friends! I will ensure that the pets' needs are addressed in full with the client before I take on the service, and adhere to the directions advised. I cannot currently board pets at my home, but I am happy to check in on pets whilst abiding by the rules of my client's homes.
