“My small yorkie LuLu doesn’t normally walk with anyone but me and very few people who have watched her. Vanessa was able to get her to go on a walk and do her business. It took the stress out of my travel day knowing that LuLu was well cared for. Thank you Vanessa!”

“Amy’s been very flexible with our weird schedules past few weeks for Snoopy. She is responsive and communicates well with us. We’ve been rebooking her since mid-December and we plan to keep getting help from her.”

“Teresa did an awesome job with handling my large German Shepherd; he loves their walks together. She also did a great job of communicating with me and accommodating my wonky schedule. Thanks Teresa!”

“My dog and I love Wendy! She’s been walking Murphy for quite a while now and is always very thorough, professional, and they cover a lot of ground! I like that she is also a trainer and really understands how to handle a difficult and sometimes aggressive dog like Murphy. She definitely knows what she’s doing! Love her!”
About: Hey there, I’m the mom of a chill five years old Shiba. Been away from Rover for a while when life is super busy, while I was away, I’ve been learning and practicing a lot of training and caring skills to take care my beloved doggie. Would love to share this wonderful experience with more doggies 🐾 For first time customers, feel free to use this referral link to get $20 off with your first book on Rover (with me or someone else😊): https://www.rover.com/sit/leahl06372 My schedule is pretty flexible. I normally take my dog out for potty and walk 3~4 times. We have a nice grass park near our house, and a super quiet and friendly neighborhood to walk around. I have a super friendly Shiba, who’d love to play with all kinds of dogs (and even more with human!) I take my dog out for walk and potty 3~4 times a day, plus plenty in house playing time.
“Had great experience with Laura walking my boys Max and Hiro while we were away on vacation. Laura was super punctual, flexible and communicated very well. Will be using her services again, highly recommend!”

About: Recently experienced the loss of my own dog , Bialy (named after the New York bagel). He was a maltipoo. He was so so cute and loving! Towards the end of his life he required extra care and attention as aging is understandably difficult. I administered meds, changed his diapers when needed, gave him extra treats and loving and really just made him as comfortable as I could towards the end. Losing him was tragic but I was so fortunate to continue taking care of dogs through my job! I worked in senior living and often residents had dogs of their own that required care. All different breeds, sizes, temperaments, I could handle it all! Whether it was a walk, a drop- in for some love and treats, a bath I did it. I was beyond honored to help out and would be so elated to help your family out as I understand leaving a pet with someone can be nerve racking and that’s why my motto is loving all pets as if they were my own <3 I have done some private in home dog/ cat care stays as well. I am currently in between jobs. Searching for what my next career move will be. Therefore, I am available Monday- Friday, and weekends if needed! I ultimately respect what you as an owner wish for your pets and so if you have notes to reference that is incredibly helpful to make sure that I honor you. As well as feel free if a pet needed to stay at my home bringing things from your home to make the transition easier into a new environment as that can bring some anxiety.
“Selena was so nice and helpful! She was very accommodating and took time out of her day and outside of the walk to help educate me on trainer tips and my puppy came back tired and ready for a nap. I plan to continue booking with her and would 10/10 recommend her in the future.”

“I really appreciated Toki for taking care of my dog. He's really experienced and reliable dog walker. And he's really good at communication. We will ask him for help in the future and we would recommend him to others.”

Somerset dog parents share their Rover experiences
Amy was very good at communicating and did a great job with Atlee. Atlee was excited to see her for the final walk and it was a great help to have her help walk our dog while I was out of town and my partner needed to go into the office to work. Would recommend Amy for your dog walking needs.

Janice came by to walk Chomsky when we were out skiing recently - we had a great experience and I am looking forward to her coming by more regularly! I really appreciated her coming by the day before to get situated and understand Chomsky's needs (since he's getting older, he has more specific needs) as well as my boyfriend's cat's needs. She sent great updates and Chomsky was very happy when we returned.

Allexis is the best dog walker I've ever had! She is so communicative, kind, caring and flexible. My dog has struggled with some big life changes and transitions we've been going through and Allexis has been patient and loving with her. I've seen a huge difference in my dog's demeanor since Allexis and I've so grateful!

Carol had watched my three dogs and did such an amazing job, we were like "oh no, we're going to come home and our dogs will be bored out of their MINDS after Carol was with them" so we hired her to walk our dogs. When they saw she was visiting again, they were out of their minds with happiness. :) Super reliable, so easy to work with, she sent pics, very communicative and all-around awesome! Thanks Carol!

Rachael was available to help us in the early morning hours which was greatly appreciated. We were currently at the hospital and it took some time to find where we were and come back which is okay. Bean was walked about a mile and Rachael provides good pictures and safe return of your pet(s). Only took one star due to some minor communication issues around eta and Bean apparently turning back around outside. My dog is service so having someone else walk is always new and difficult as a handler.
