About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve been the reliable friend people turn to when they’re away. Some of the routines look like: stopping in to feed pets, provide fresh water, clean up, and offer enrichment and play, and companionship so they feel comfortable and not alone. I also have experience house sitting and staying overnight for up to four nights, making sure pets feel safe, settled, and cared for in their own environment. I’ve been around animals since I was about 10 years old, including golden retrievers, labs, and cats, and I often ask to say hello when I see a furry friend out and about. I welcome different temperaments and adjust myself to meet them where they’re comfortable. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and aim to provide calm, attentive, and loving care so fur babies feel secure, seen, and cared for while their best friend is away. I am available all days of the week, between 9:00 am-6:00 pm, can provide overnight care, please send me a message. (Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat) The goal is calm, consistency, and reading pet cues. 1. Follow their routine exactly Pets feel safest with predictability. Feed at the same times Use the same food amounts and bowls Keep walks/playtime similar to what they’re used to Even small changes can make sensitive pets anxious. 2. Do a careful first check-in When I arrive: I look for water level, food, accidents, or damage I observe their behavior (hiding, excited, nervous, clingy) I let them come to me rather than forcing interaction. 3. I arrive with a calm presence Many pets don’t need constant stimulation, they need steady companionship. I prefer to sit quietly near them, talk softly and let shy pets approach me on their terms 4. Exercise + enrichment (tailored to each pet) Dogs: walks, sniff time, fetch (if they enjoy it) Cats: wand toys, gentle play, window time I may suggest to keep sessions short if they get overstimulated 5. I like to help keep the home clean and safe by scooping litter boxes daily (sometimes twice per day), pick up wrappers or food items immediately, wipe paws if needed after walks, and keep doors locked and secure at all times 6. Respect their boundaries This is a big one for trust: I try not to force picking up or petting and watch for signs like tail flicking, hiding, freezing, or overstimulation. I let them decompress alone if needed. 7. I love the saying, “Leave things better than you found them” My fur friends owners say they appreciate: Clean bowls and litter areas, a tidy feeding/walking area, and the notes about how they did during the visit 8. I communicate clearly Send updates like: “Fed, walked, and doing well,” Photos (if allowed) and any changes in behavior or appetite

About: I've been around cats and dogs most of my life and have a deep love and affection for them. As well, I recently started volunteering at Seattle Humane. I'm currently doing this part time, so I'm pretty flexible on availability on weekdays between Monday-Thursday. Though, for drop-ins, my clearest availability is between 8am-2pm. But again, I’m flexible. I can do overnights between 5pm-9am. I try to bring a calm, kind demeanor to the environment to put the cat(s) at ease; I will scoop the litter box, feed them, and if they show interest, play with them, and if not, I give them their space!

About: I grew up around dogs and have been pet-sitting regularly since I graduated college. I currently work at Mud Bay, the local pet store, and my knowledge and love for cats and dogs has increased exponentially. I’m patient, gentle, and get along with every dog I’ve ever met :) I work 25-30 hours a week, I have a car, and I’m willing to help care for your pets whenever you need! Because I work the closing shift, I’m most available in the mornings and afternoon. I’ll always have treats on me from my job! I already have a daily routine with my own two cats — feeding, playtime, litter, and just being present with them. I follow your routines to ensure your pet remains comfortable in its familiar surroundings. Before every visit I like to ask the important details — whether your cat goes outside, tends to sit on open windows, chews on plants, or has any habits I should know about. I ask all the necessary questions to cover every detail and maintain open communication throughout.

About: I’ve taken care of cats, dogs and other fluffy friends for most of my life. Pets are our best friends and companions, they deserve an attentive caretaker while their humans are away. I strive to make sure your loved ones are cared for exactly as you ask. Every pet has their own special needs, especially as they age. I have experience with older animals as well and am comfortable administering medications. I’m soft spoken and patient and will ensure they feel safe and comfortable with my presence. I have two shelter cats at home who my partner and I spoil with love daily. We are looking forward to adopting a dog in the future and adding to our family! I have a flexible schedule and am local to the island. I focus my availability to just the island so I can quickly make it to our scheduled bookings on time. While I don’t offer boarding services at this time, I will gladly maintain your routine with your pet in your home. If you crate your dog or have dedicated play spaces I’ll be sure to follow your guidelines. Any preferences for walk locations can also be abided by. I’ll be sure to work with your timid animals to build a trust relationship with them.

Shy dogs, reactive dogs, energetic dogs and all in between are welcome and will be thoughtfully cared for. I'm at home full-time and can give your pup the attention he or she deserves 24/7. I live within 5 minutes of 2 parks, one on the lake if that's what your dog likes. Fully fenced, large backyard that dogs can access all day. Live with a VERY sweet, even-tempered 2 year-old female St Bernese (Bernese/St. Bernard) and an outdoor kitty. Pups will have unrestricted use of the house. Most importantly, I care and will work with you to give your pup the most comfortable homestay possible.
