“Hello! I’ve known Julia and her family for a very long time, since my university days, when I met her younger son and we became friends. I did some pet-sitting for her cat and dog myself, but a couple of times she was of great help for my cat and me, too. Once I found myself in a difficult situation after a break-up when my cat needed a temporary home while I was out of town but my ex-girlfriend couldn’t wait till I returned. So, Julia accepted my cat at a very short notice the same day I asked her for a favor and took great care of him. My cat did not trust strangers very much but that time he quickly felt comfortable at Julia’s place, made friends with her pets and behaved well while being there. I know that my boy liked Julia’s home and staying with her because he was very reluctant to leave when time came. He didn’t seem anxious when I came to pick him up, the kitty was clean, properly fed and looked taken care of after spending two days in a new place. I am very grateful to Julia for helping my cat and me in a lurch, that meant a lot for both of us.”
