About: Hi! My name is Mackenna. I graduated from Washington State in 2021 and have been working in the senior living industry for the past 2 years. I am new to Rover but not new to caring for pets. I have been surrounded by animals my entire life and am a proud cat mom. I have professionally bred, handled, and groomed purebred dogs for the past decade. I have experience with cats and dogs of all breeds, sizes, needs, and histories. I love animals and want to do this work to make some money on the side, but also because animals bring me so much joy! My schedule is super flexible and I am available to provide frequent potty breaks, feeding, walking, and overnight stays. When sitting, I am happy to stay at the pet’s home to attend to all of their needs (especially pets and cuddles). Your pets’ safety and happiness are my #1 priority. I take a calm and patient approach, especially with pets who may be shy or nervous, and I always pay close attention to body language to keep things safe and comfortable. I’m very reliable and detail-oriented, so I’ll follow any care instructions closely and keep you updated with messages and photos after each visit. Drop-in visits are a great option for dogs or cats who are more comfortable staying in their own home, and I do my best to make each visit a positive experience.

About: I have had dogs all my life, as well as cats and a bunny. 32 years experience as a pet owner, 8+ years as a dog walker/sitter and cat sitter. I believe every dog is a puppy and every cat a kitten, no matter how old. I currently have an 8yo mini dachshund named Beanie. She has IVDD, but is in "remission". Due to her condition, I have some experience with IVDD care, specifically administering medication and restricting movement for recovery. Whatever your pet requires that I don't know, I will learn. I cannot wait to meet you fur babies! I live in the Factoria/Woodridge neighborhood of Bellevue and work a full-time hybrid schedule. I am best able to care for your pets on weekdays after 3pm and anytime on weekends - if located within 5 minutes of the Woodridge area, I can do drop in visits for your furry friends on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I am not able to accommodate pets in my home at this time. However, if that changes I do have a fully fenced yard to keep your dog safe.
