During drop-in visits, I make sure your pet gets the care, attention, and routine they’re used to while you’re away. This includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks if needed, playtime, and lots of companionship. I take a calm and patient approach, especially with pets who may be shy or nervous, and I always pay close attention to body language to keep things safe and comfortable. I’m very reliable and detail-oriented, so I’ll follow any care instructions closely and keep you updated with messages and photos after each visit. Drop-in visits are a great option for dogs or cats who are more comfortable staying in their own home, and I do my best to make each visit a positive experience.

About: I’ve been taking care of my buddy since I was 15, my cats since I was 14 and I used to take care of my neighbors dog I pet sit for members of my family and people around the neighborhood, my hours are flexible I’m able to meet requirements of any family or client. I would always make sure the animal I’m taking care of is fed, hydrated and taken out for the bathroom or walks, I’m fully backgrounded and have very good references.

About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats, including pet sitting experience outside the U.S. I’m new to Rover in the United States, but I’m not new to pet care. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, litter box care, basic grooming, and following detailed owner instructions. I also have pets of my own, so I understand how important consistency, patience, and clear communication are. I’m comfortable caring for cats and dogs of different breeds, mixed breeds, and sizes, including large dogs, as long as they are friendly, well-socialized, and a good fit after a meet-and-greet. I’m happy to send regular photo updates and keep communication clear during the stay. My availability is focused on planned house sitting, weekends, and weekday evenings. I prefer bookings with advance notice so we can do a meet-and-greet, review the pet’s routine, and make sure the booking is a good fit. During a stay, I follow the agreed schedule for feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medication notes, and updates. If I need to step out, I make sure it fits the pet’s care plan and the owner’s instructions. Most of my care is provided in the client’s home, where I follow the owner’s instructions and house rules carefully. I keep doors, windows, gates, collars, harnesses, and leashes secure, and I do not allow off-leash time unless the owner has clearly approved it in a safe area. I pay attention to feeding instructions, medications, behavior changes, appetite, energy level, and emergency contacts. I keep the home clean and respectful, and I send regular updates so owners know their pets are safe and comfortable.

About: I do not know what a home is without a pet! I have always had at least one pet in my household since I was born. Currently, I have a miniature Australian shepherd that I raised and trained from a puppy. Additionally, I have a college degree in Animal Science and previously worked in the veterinary field for 4 years. I have experience with all sorts of dogs and cats but also livestock and exotics. I have worked with everything from newborn puppies to chickens to primates. I am extremely passionate about training as well as making sure pets have the mental and physical enrichment they deserve. I am currently working hybrid so my availability is mostly weekends and before/after work visits but I have the flexibility to work with you. I am joined Rover because I just love animals and it really feels like a hobby to get to meet new pets rather than a job. I have a small fenced in backyard and a miniature Australian shepherd to keep your pet company. If your pet is more solitary; Theo is more than happy to give them their space and we can provide a gated separate area for your pet. In your house, things are done your way. I prefer detailed instructions so that your home is exactly how you would like it when you come back. Additionally, allowing me to follow your set routine ensures your pet is as happy as can be when you come home. No request is too weird for your fur-baby! My own pet has lots of quirks and weird routines so do not hesitate to reach out with a special request!

About: I’m a longtime cat parent and sitter with hands-on experience across 8+ cats — male and female, multiple breeds, including seniors. I currently live with two cats of my own, so daily care (feeding, litter, grooming, brushing teeth, nail trims) is second nature to me. I’ve sat for cats in a variety of situations, including a 2-month stay watching two cats together and regular visits with my sister’s cat. I’m comfortable administering medication, including oral pills and liquid meds for cats managing UTIs and allergies — I know how stressful meds can be for a cat and try to make it as low-stress as possible. I also have dog walking experience, having walked friends’ dogs multiple times, and I’m happy to take on regular walks or drop-ins. Whether it’s a quick check-in, a multi-week stay, or a pet with medical needs, I’ll treat your home and animals with the same care I give my own. I work full-time remote, which gives me a flexible schedule for check-ins, walks, and daily care throughout the day — not just mornings and evenings. For dog walking, I’m available weekdays after 12pm. For boarding, I take one cat at a time to keep things low-stress and manageable. New cats are set up in their own isolated bedroom first, so they have a quiet, controlled space to settle in. If the owner’s comfortable with it, I can also do a gradual, supervised introduction to my own cats — but only with the owner’s permission, and only once I’m confident both the visiting cat and my cats are relaxed with each other. If either side isn’t comfortable, the visiting cat simply stays in their own space for the full stay. Cats stay one at a time in a dedicated, isolated bedroom when they first arrive, so they have a quiet space to decompress before anything else happens. I use a calming diffuser and calming spray in the space to help ease the transition, plus plenty of treats to build comfort and trust. I keep a consistent routine matched to their normal schedule — feeding times, litter maintenance (scooped throughout the day), and playtime. Medications are worked into the same routine as feeding, so nothing gets missed. If the owner’s comfortable with it, I can do a slow, supervised introduction to my own two cats once the visiting cat seems settled — but only with permission, and only if both sides seem relaxed with it. If not, they simply have their own space for the whole stay.
