I’m a tidy, detail oriented person. I always make sure to leave things at least as clean as I found them and put everything including your pets back where they belong. I have my own car for transportation. I’m happy to re-enforce any rules/training if you go over what you are working on.

Ahead of time some of the questions I like to ask are: -Does your pet have any medical conditions or physical limitations I should be aware of? -Is there anything your pet does not enjoy doing? -Does your pet have any quirks? - How is your pet with strangers? -If it’s a dog, how does your dog do with encountering other dogs, people, and animals while on a leash?
A typical day
I focus on meeting your pets where they are at. I give lots of love and attention while respecting their boundaries. Happy to provide lots of play time or just hang out and chill depending on what your pet needs.

I’ve been pet sitting for the last 16 years, starting with checking in on my neighbors’ pets and later house sitting for family friends. I’ve cared for both cats and dogs of various ages including puppies and seniors.

Iris is an exceptional house sitter and pet sitter. My “slow to trust” cat was so comfortable with Iris he did not hide from her! Our dog loves all the attention and play time he gets while Iris is with him.
Iris is amazing. She is highly responsive, loves animals and takes such good care of care of our fur babies. We received daily updates and sweet pictures.
Iris did a great job caring for our dog and our home while we were away for 10 days. She consistently sent updates and photos and followed all my instructions. I would absolutely use her again. (Note: I work for Rover)
