About: I have owned and taken care of many different animals throughout my entire life. Friends and neighbors regularly rely on me to take care of their animals while they are gone. I have taken animal science courses throughout all 4 years of my school where we learn about all kinds of animals including livestock and companion animals. In this class, we regularly go to peoples homes/farms and tend to their animals in many different ways such as vaccinating, trimming hooves/nails, properly restraining animals, feeding etc. I have experience taking care of elderly dogs in “doggy hospice” by regularly providing meds and shots, feeding, etc. as well as help raise newborn puppies. It is my goal as a pet owner to work hard and do lots of research in order to provide my pets with the best possible life, and I hope I can do the same for other peoples pets as well. I work full time, but when I am not working, I am always available to take care of any animals. Please reach out a few days in advance so I can make sure I’m free. About: In college, my roommates always fostered dogs and cats so I would help out by taking the dogs on walks in the morning and taking care of them. I also used to dogsit and catsit in college in the weekends. I love animals and my work schedule makes it easy to ensure they get a lot of care. I have a pretty flexible work schedule so I would be able to work from home when taking care of a pet. Typically, Thursdays to Sundays are when I am the most free! I have a pet-friendly apartment with a lot of amenities for pets. I also have a dog park right outside my apartment where a lot of dogs come everyday to walk and play.

About: I know how important it is to feel confident that your beloved pets are happy and safe when you are traveling. Thats why I am really more of a dog nanny than a dogsitter. I have a soft spot for dogs who are shy or anxious, and whose trust I need to earn. I am particularly experienced with northern breeds such as Huskies and Malamutes. Regular clients get great benefits on top of in-house pet sitting. My base rate includes 1 hour or more of exercise (off leash park or leashed hike). I offer nail trims/dremels and light grooming at no additional cost. I offer deshedding/bathing for a modest fee, and I'm flexible about last minute schedule changes. For housesitting gigs, my dog Kaya is my +1. She provides stellar socialization and exercise for dogs who will accept canine visitors. I respect that some of owners feel reluctant to invite in dogs they don't know. If you would like your dog to have socialization with visitors but you're concerned, I have a lot of training experience with this and I may be of some help. Every day we have at least 1 hour of exercise in an off leash park or a leashed hike. My guests also get to join me on socialization expeditions such as visiting dog-friendly businesses. I can provide basic first aid in case of minor injuries, and I have an excellent track record for keeping dogs safe and out of mischief. In addition to Rover's insurance, I also have a private pet sitting insurance policy.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs for 50 years. I’ve used sitters for my pets and know how important they are when you leave. My dog was so sad to see my suitcase. So I know how much attention they need to feel better. Our pets are part of the family and need time and attention, and that’s how can help. I am currently retired and for the first time in my life animal free. So I am looking to help others and enjoy time with the pets. I can drive and be at your home as needed. I am comfortable walking your dog for a distance. And of course petting the cats and dogs properly comes from years of practice.

About: I’m a longtime cat parent and sitter with hands-on experience across 8+ cats — male and female, multiple breeds, including seniors. I currently live with two cats of my own, so daily care (feeding, litter, grooming, brushing teeth, nail trims) is second nature to me. I’ve sat for cats in a variety of situations, including a 2-month stay watching two cats together and regular visits with my sister’s cat. I’m comfortable administering medication, including oral pills and liquid meds for cats managing UTIs and allergies — I know how stressful meds can be for a cat and try to make it as low-stress as possible. I also have dog walking experience, having walked friends’ dogs multiple times, and I’m happy to take on regular walks or drop-ins. Whether it’s a quick check-in, a multi-week stay, or a pet with medical needs, I’ll treat your home and animals with the same care I give my own. I work full-time remote, which gives me a flexible schedule for check-ins, walks, and daily care throughout the day — not just mornings and evenings. For dog walking, I’m available weekdays after 12pm. For boarding, I take one cat at a time to keep things low-stress and manageable. New cats are set up in their own isolated bedroom first, so they have a quiet, controlled space to settle in. If the owner’s comfortable with it, I can also do a gradual, supervised introduction to my own cats — but only with the owner’s permission, and only once I’m confident both the visiting cat and my cats are relaxed with each other. If either side isn’t comfortable, the visiting cat simply stays in their own space for the full stay. Cats stay one at a time in a dedicated, isolated bedroom when they first arrive, so they have a quiet space to decompress before anything else happens. I use a calming diffuser and calming spray in the space to help ease the transition, plus plenty of treats to build comfort and trust. I keep a consistent routine matched to their normal schedule — feeding times, litter maintenance (scooped throughout the day), and playtime. Medications are worked into the same routine as feeding, so nothing gets missed. If the owner’s comfortable with it, I can do a slow, supervised introduction to my own two cats once the visiting cat seems settled — but only with permission, and only if both sides seem relaxed with it. If not, they simply have their own space for the whole stay.

About: I have had dogs the vast majority of my life and have seen them from puppy to senior citizen. I am happy to meet a dog where they are at. I am happy to feed, water, administer medications, and walk your cute canine. I work full time with flexible hours. I usually feed in mornings and evenings and walk either then or midday. I am mostly free on weekends. Pets are family. I treat your pets the way I would want a sitter to treat mine. Animals need to be met on their level. If they are shy they need time to acclimate, if they are rambunctious I need to be ready for high energy.
