“Kevin has been absolutely fantastic with our dog! She's very high-energy, and Kevin always finds creative ways to keep her engaged and burn off that energy. We mentioned that she needed to work on not jumping on people and also no barking for attention, and Kevin was great about reinforcing those behaviors during their time together. We've seen real improvement! Our pup is always thrilled to see him and is totally tuckered out—and happy—after each visit. Kevin is also incredibly responsive and communicates clearly. After reading through A LOT of sitter profiles, Marcea stood out the most to us as someone we felt could be a good fit. Our 9yrs old bloodhound had a rough start in life, and came to me at 2yrs old as an anxious, leash-aggressive, separation anxiety, osteo-arthritic, quirky dog. Through behavioral training and medication management, his life is more calm and stable, but he requires structure, routine, and calm patient love and understanding. After a combining households move that put our dog hanging at home alone 3 days a week, I knew we needed to hire someone for drop-in visits. Enter Marcea. She is a calming balm for both pets and pet parents.”

About: I am retired and after having a dog &/or cat for most of my life, I don't have a pet right now. So I am excited about sharing my home with dog guests. Presently I am a volunteer with Seattle Humane Society where I help with walking and socializing rescued dogs and I like walking friend's and family's dogs. I will have lots of time to spend with each dog or cat guest and want to use fun activities, lots of petting and cuddling to make their stay great. My schedule is quite open. The only dedicated times I have during the week are a 3 hour shift mid-day on Mondays at Seattle Humane and mid afternoon on Tuesdays. Everything else is fairly elastic. I have a fairly large fenced backyard that can be used for running, playing, fetching and even some training if wanted. I can crate dogs if needed, give pills and walks (lots of walks for dogs).
