About: I have a 16 year old dog that lives in Colombia. I was part of his care for 9 years. I have taken care of friends doggies, I like to rub their bellies and pet them. I'm a good snuggle buddy for them and I like to play catch with them. I adopted a little baby rescued almost 2 years ago, he had some serious anxiety and lots of energy so I know how to deal with doggies with special needs. We love going to the dog park so he can interact and play with other doggies. He gets along super well with dogs and has made a few friends with the dogs I have taken care of. I currently work part time out of my home, I’m only away from 4 hours and can provide care for them. I’m usually able to accommodate drop off/pick up around 1:00-2:00pm. I live in a townhouse. There’s 4 floors and a open space kitchen. I have a set up of doggie gates to keep your pets save. They will spend their time if I happen to be away in the open space kitchen and will sleep with me in my bedroom. I also have a crate in case your pet is more comfortable sleeping there. Tons of doggie toys.

About: Hi! I joined a local organization called Purrfect Pals at 16 years old. It was a place dedicated to giving our feline friends a chance for or they provided a happy life for our feline friends where they could live out the rest of their days in peace. Old or young, healthy or sick, grumpy or happy. They all had a home at perfect pals! I strive to follow the same ideals and treat all furry friends as my own family. I grew up with dogs and cats and have spent my entire life around them. Often being called a Dog or Cat whisper (Though i always deny it!) Hi, Honestly it’s only three days out of the week that I need to limit the exact times that i can provide potty breaks. I work three 9s and two 6.5s, while having Thursday and Fridays off work. I often start early in the morning and am off work by early to mid afternoon, which provides plenty of time for our furry friends even on days I do work my other job! As long as i’m aware of the time frame I can be pretty dang flexible! Do a careful first check-in When I arrive: I look for water level, food, accidents, or damage I observe their behavior (hiding, excited, nervous, clingy) I let them come to me rather than forcing interaction. 3. I arrive with a calm presence Many pets don’t need constant stimulation, they need steady companionship. I prefer to sit quietly near them, talk softly and let shy pets approach me on their terms 4. Exercise + enrichment (tailored to each pet) Dogs: walks, sniff time, fetch (if they enjoy it) Cats: wand toys, gentle play, window time I may suggest to keep sessions short if they get overstimulated 5. I like to help keep the home clean and safe by scooping litter boxes daily (sometimes twice per day), pick up wrappers or food items immediately, wipe paws if needed after walks, and keep doors locked and secure at all times 6. Respect their boundaries This is a big one for trust: I try not to force picking up or petting and watch for signs like tail flicking, hiding, freezing, or overstimulation. I let them decompress alone if needed. 7. I love the saying, “Leave things better than you found them” My fur friends owners say they appreciate: Clean bowls and litter areas, a tidy feeding/walking area, and the notes about how they did during the visit 8. About: I have taken care of many different types of rescued, owned dogs and cats. I had black, short haired, 12 years old chihuahua “Melo.” She is an angel in dog heaven and taught me how to be a great companion to animals. I can take them out for walk anytime as long as they got leash. Also lots of cuddling. I am working from home, so my schedule is open most of the day, prefers weekdays but can do on weekends depends on the schedule. I prefer to take care of your pets at your home since I do think it will be more comfortable for them to stay at where they are more comfortable with.
