About: Hi, my name is Elissa. I and my husband have a 6 year old German Shepherd and a 8+ year old cat. I took care of them for more than 3 years. I am a very nice person to your pet, and I willing to sit down and have a conversation with your pet and just let your pet know I am his/her new friend. I believe this good start will improve our walking experience. Stay with a dog, especially the German Shepherd is what I never think about it before I met my husband. At first, I am also afraid of this huge dog, but right now he even listen to me more than my husband. He can under my voice control in the dog park, and I also understand all of his attitude and will avoid any of the aggressive things before it happen. As a pet sitter, I feel keep your pet be safe is the most important thing as the owner wish. So I will promise I will put the safe at first.

Zheru was absolutely wonderful with our anxious kitty BG. By the end of 5 days, they were good friends, which was so reassuring. Zheru was very thorough in following our routine, with kind and gentle care of BG. She was consistent in taking time to send pictures and detailed updates. She was able to build trust with BG to the point where she allowed being held and snuggled, which was lovely to hear! Alexa did a great job dealing with some challenges that we didn’t properly prepare her for. Our cats had unprecedented diarrhea and vomiting that began just as we left, and Alexa gave us updates on their condition and was ready to take them to the vet if they didn’t approve (thankfully they did!). Additionally, our furnace shut off for some reason and Alexa communicated with us that the house was quite cold. She came everyday and scooped the cats litter and changed their pee pads, even though we forgot to tell her where the garbage bags were. Thank you!
Ryan is an excellent sitter. I would care for my own pups—and others’ pups—the same way he does. He is punctual, attentive, and reliable. His communication is responsive and detailed, which gave me great peace of mind. On top of that, he is proactive: he works with you, thinks through situations together, and helps find the best ways to keep the pups comfortable and address any issues. I felt completely at ease leaving my pups in his care.

There are plenty of good sitters on Rover, but to us, Heather stood out as a great one! Heather was very responsive and on time for our meet and greet. She was attentive and asked questions regarding Minnie's care. While we were out, Heather sent so many photos of our cat and the different ways she played and engaged with her as a part of the daily updates. She provided detailed descriptions of her condition, her mood, and general observations and was very communicative. It was easy to tell Heather cared for our cat well and I recommend her to anyone that needs a petsitter. We look forward to hiring her again for our cat sitting needs for the future!
