About: Hey there! I have 10yrs of personal experience with caring for dogs; small, big, or any size in between! I currently have two rescues, a large (120lbs) black lab and a small (15lbs) chihuahua-spaniel mix! I have experience with dogs of all tempers, needs, and personalities including introverted, outgoing, and family friendly. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom in grad school, so my schedule is flexible for drop-ins & day sitting. Please note that there may be times where I may have my child with me. While she is familiar with pets and their boundaries, please let me know if your pet is adults only so that I can ensure my schedule aligns with your pets needs, and that I can care for them while my child isn’t with me. For outdoor & social dogs, I have a fenced, 200sqft backyard along with 2 dogs (large & small) who can play with your dog if they need some company! I have a wide range of toys and am located near many parks & walking trails. For indoor or introverted pets, half of my apartment is baby-fenced off for privacy & space as needed. I am more than happy to hang out inside with your pup & help with decompression time as needed!

About: Hello! My name is Dari, I am a WA native and I have been taking care of dogs since 2011 and cats since 2023. I have 2 kitties of my own that live in my home and 1 kitty I co-parent from afar with a previous partner. I have dog-sat and cat-sat for friends, family, and neighbors many times over the last few years and am excited to do so for you and your furry friends too. I have also had hamsters, hermit crabs, and a lovebird as pets too! No critter will be left not taken care of under my watch. I am currently teaching yoga and meditation in Seattle, Bothell, Kirkland, Bellevue, and Snoqualmie; I am often bopping around to and from the studio and am happy to drop-in to take care of your pets or take your dog for a walk! I am also not gone from home like most people for full shifts of work that last 8-10 hrs, I am gone at most for 6-7 hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with other days of the week being more like 2 hours away at a time! I live in an apartment but am a very active person and love taking dogs on long walks and to the dog park if desired. I am a very kind, soft, and loving person and truly believe animals pick up on this. It is very often I find myself talking to birds, squirrels, deer, and even today - a raccoon!!

For meet & greets, we usually meet at Everest Park or a nearby park that’s convenient for you. You’re also welcome to ask questions and meet our golden retriever, Google, during the meet & greet. We care for pets of all ages, personalities, and needs. Whether your pet is a playful pup, a shy kitty, or a senior who needs extra attention, we provide patient, personalized care to help them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. We’re happy to follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding instructions, medication, potty breaks, playtime, and quiet rest. For safety and comfort, we ask that boarding dogs be crate trained, as crates may be used during meal times, rest time, or when dogs need a calm space to decompress. Please let us know about any allergies, medical needs, dietary restrictions, or anything special we should be aware of. To help us plan our schedule and give every pet the best care, we kindly ask clients to coordinate pick-up and drop-off times with us in advance. Please be on time, or let us know ahead of time if you need to reschedule. An ETA is always appreciated so we can plan our day, meals, and rest time accordingly. For privacy reasons, we’re unable to share details about other clients’ pets staying with us. We also do not offer teeth brushing services, but you’re welcome to bring dental treats or dental chews, and we’re happy to give them at no extra cost. We also have a large backyard where your pets can play and get plenty of exercise. *Most of our exercise time happens in our large, secure backyard — lots of sniffing, exploring, and playtime while being fully supervised. *For new or anxious dogs, we usually start with yard time only until they settle in. With a spacious and secure environment, including a large backyard for play and exercise, I ensure that your pet has plenty of space to move around while staying safe. I keep my home pet-friendly, ensuring there are no hazardous areas or items that could pose a risk. I also follow any specific instructions you provide regarding feeding, medications, or care routines, ensuring consistency for your pet.
