About: Most people call me Josh. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I've lived with them for most of my life. I am recently dog-free and I miss having dog energy in my house. I've raised two dogs through basic obedience to adulthood, one with a class, and one largely on my own. I am personally a big believer in the methods described in The Art of Raising a Puppy, because I have had excellent results with their techniques, but will of course prioritize whatever approach is preferred by owners. I am happy to help reinforce any basic obedience your dog may be working on, as well as senior dogs. I am comfortable with a wide range of dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Highly reactive dogs are not my favorite, but "highly reactive" can be subjective, so I will consider such dogs on a case by case basis. I am happy to work with dogs of varying activity levels, but extremely high-activity dogs will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. I am currently working from home and am available for dropoff in-home daycare most weekdays and dog boarding (including weekends). My schedule for my dog was three walks a day (morning, afternoon/dinnertime, bedtime) so that is what I'm used to, but I am happy to work with clients to discuss their routine and work with them to agree on an experience that fits their and their dog's needs. I currently have no other animals in my home, so your dog will get my full attention as needed. I don't have a fenced yard, but I am in a residential neighborhood with a good-sized park a block away. I am reasonably close to Seward Park and the Genesee dog park as well.

About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life and grew up with small dogs, so caring for them has always felt natural. Today, I regularly spend time with dogs of all sizes through friends and neighbors and frequently welcome them into my home when their owners are away. I work from home full-time with a very flexible schedule, which means your dog will get plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I live in a quiet, pet-free townhouse with only my partner, and we’re surrounded by green space that’s perfect for walks and outdoor time. My partner and I are planning to adopt a dog of our own soon, so we’re excited to open our home to more pups in the meantime! Because I work from home with a flexible schedule your dog would rarely be left alone for extended periods and would receive lots of care and attention! I am happy to follow each dog’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), as well as any special instructions. I can also provide regular updates & photos so you can feel confident that your pup is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away!
