I’m experienced with drop-in visits and walks, including feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and basic medication. I’m patient with puppies, gentle with senior pets, and always focused on their well-being. I send daily photos and videos, so you can see how happy your pet is while you’re away. I work from home every day, so pet care fits naturally into my routine. I have a flexible schedule and no problem adjusting my day around walks, feeding times, or check-ins. This allows me to give pets consistent attention and never rush their care. I’m attentive to behavior, energy levels, and any signs of stress. I also send regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. Your pet’s well-being and your peace of mind are my top priorities.

About: Most people call me Josh. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I've lived with them for most of my life. I am recently dog-free and I miss having dog energy in my house. I've raised two dogs through basic obedience to adulthood, one with a class, and one largely on my own. I am personally a big believer in the methods described in The Art of Raising a Puppy, because I have had excellent results with their techniques, but will of course prioritize whatever approach is preferred by owners. I am happy to help reinforce any basic obedience your dog may be working on, as well as senior dogs. I am comfortable with a wide range of dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Highly reactive dogs are not my favorite, but "highly reactive" can be subjective, so I will consider such dogs on a case by case basis. I am happy to work with dogs of varying activity levels, but extremely high-activity dogs will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. I am currently working from home and am available for dropoff in-home daycare most weekdays and dog boarding (including weekends). My schedule for my dog was three walks a day (morning, afternoon/dinnertime, bedtime) so that is what I'm used to, but I am happy to work with clients to discuss their routine and work with them to agree on an experience that fits their and their dog's needs. I currently have no other animals in my home, so your dog will get my full attention as needed. I don't have a fenced yard, but I am in a residential neighborhood with a good-sized park a block away. I am reasonably close to Seward Park and the Genesee dog park as well.
