About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and have always had dogs and cats of my own. Being around pets has always brought me joy, and caring for them feels very natural to me. At the moment I don’t have a pet, which is one of the reasons I wanted to become a sitter — I genuinely miss having animals in my daily life. I host only one dog at a time, so your pet will get plenty of attention, care, and a calm home environment. I have two parks within walking distance, including Marymoor, for regular walks and outdoor time. I’m happy to send updates and photos during the stay. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to be available most of the day. This helps me provide reliable, consistent care and follow your pet’s routine closely. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends. I provide a safe, calm, and attentive environment for every pet. At my home, I host only one dog at a time to ensure comfort and supervision. For in-home visits, I respect your space and follow all instructions carefully. I pay close attention to safety, routines, and each pet’s individual needs, and I always keep owners updated with messages and photos.

About: Most people call me Josh. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I've lived with them for most of my life. I am recently dog-free and I miss having dog energy in my house. I've raised two dogs through basic obedience to adulthood, one with a class, and one largely on my own. I am personally a big believer in the methods described in The Art of Raising a Puppy, because I have had excellent results with their techniques, but will of course prioritize whatever approach is preferred by owners. I am happy to help reinforce any basic obedience your dog may be working on, as well as senior dogs. I am comfortable with a wide range of dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Highly reactive dogs are not my favorite, but "highly reactive" can be subjective, so I will consider such dogs on a case by case basis. I am happy to work with dogs of varying activity levels, but extremely high-activity dogs will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. I am currently working from home and am available for dropoff in-home daycare most weekdays and dog boarding (including weekends). My schedule for my dog was three walks a day (morning, afternoon/dinnertime, bedtime) so that is what I'm used to, but I am happy to work with clients to discuss their routine and work with them to agree on an experience that fits their and their dog's needs. I currently have no other animals in my home, so your dog will get my full attention as needed. I don't have a fenced yard, but I am in a residential neighborhood with a good-sized park a block away. I am reasonably close to Seward Park and the Genesee dog park as well.
