About: I grew up taking care of my Lhasa Apso. I used to dog sit for my employer who had a minature Shih Tzu. I would take her everywhere with me. I had a Dachshund in my 30’s. I recently was a dog sitter for a friend who has a Terrier. Dogs make me happy. I was thinking of adopting one but decided to join Rover for now. About: Hi! I’m Weston, and I’m a recent college graduate with a lifelong love for dogs. I cared for my family’s yellow lab Katie for 12 years, and have spent the last two years helping my brother and his girlfriend with in-home Rover pet sitting for dozens of dogs. I also spent 4 summers working as a lifeguard and swim coach for kids ages 5–18, helping me learn patience, attentiveness, and strong caregiving skills. Much like a dog, I enjoy running around and playing fetch. I also play guitar, which dogs cannot do but they seem to occasionally enjoy it. I keep a vigilant eye on animals in my home, tracking their typical behavior and noting any abnormalities. I am very responsive with clients and will take so many pictures of your pets having loads of fun!

I’m a huge animal lover and my long term goal is to become a vet tech. My partner Tyler also frequently accompanies me taking dogs out to the park and housesitting with me. He is also a big animal lover, in particular cats! I’m experienced at administering medications, including insulin shots. I have 3 dogs of my own, 2 cats, and fish. I was also a horse owner for 5 years up until a few months ago. Important note: 🐾 For pet/house sitting I have to bring my smallest dog with me 25 lbs as he was just diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer, Hemangiosarcoma. So he has to be monitored 24/7 as we don’t know when his time will come. I also have to bring my 9yr old border collie. Both are very well behaved and have been with me to many house/pet sitting jobs. They are pros. 💛 They are amazing with other dogs, cats, farm animals (we used to live on a ranch). They both understand dog social cues very well and are calm and quiet in the house. I’m happy to do a meet and great beforehand to assess compatibility. I have experience caring for small animals to exotics such as rats, snakes, bunnies, birds, fish etc. I also have extensive knowledge when it comes to caring for livestock, from goats, cattle (steers and heifers), horses (all different type of breeds) mostly OTTB’s, sheep, llamas, chickens and more! I’d love to meet your pets and give them the best care, love and attention while you are away! I have many references from over the years and can provide some at your request! My older cat was diagnosed with diabetes about a year ago and I now have lots of experience with both oral and injected medications for cats.
