I think enrichment is crucial for pet care and I will keep your pup entertained with lots of love, exercise, and cuddles :) I recently graduated from UW Seattle and I am looking for pet-sitting gigs in the meantime. About: Hi, I’m Sarah! 🐾 Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up in a home where there were always multiple pets around—including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and fish—so I’ve been comfortable caring for animals for as long as I can remember. While I don’t currently have pets of my own, I’ve continued to care for friends’ and neighbors’ pets when they’ve been away. I’ve cared for pets of all ages and personalities, including senior dogs and cats and pets who are partially deaf or blind. I especially enjoy getting to know an animal’s individual personality and figuring out what makes them feel comfortable, happy, and secure. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else. My goal is to make the experience as easy and stress-free as possible—for both you and your pet! About: I have owned and taken care of many different animals throughout my entire life. Friends and neighbors regularly rely on me to take care of their animals while they are gone. I have taken animal science courses throughout all 4 years of my school where we learn about all kinds of animals including livestock and companion animals. In this class, we regularly go to peoples homes/farms and tend to their animals in many different ways such as vaccinating, trimming hooves/nails, properly restraining animals, feeding etc. I have experience taking care of elderly dogs in “doggy hospice” by regularly providing meds and shots, feeding, etc. as well as help raise newborn puppies. It is my goal as a pet owner to work hard and do lots of research in order to provide my pets with the best possible life, and I hope I can do the same for other peoples pets as well. I work full time, but when I am not working, I am always available to take care of any animals. Please reach out a few days in advance so I can make sure I’m free. I will treat your pet and your home like my own and make sure everything is taken care of. I will make sure your animal feels happy and loved.
