About: I grew up taking care of my Lhasa Apso. I used to dog sit for my employer who had a minature Shih Tzu. I would take her everywhere with me. I had a Dachshund in my 30’s. I recently was a dog sitter for a friend who has a Terrier. Dogs make me happy. I was thinking of adopting one but decided to join Rover for now. About: I love all canines. Big, small and in between. I have experience taking care of all breeds and sizes. I have been in a yard with 110 plus dogs at a time. I have immeasurable love and patience for these beautiful creatures. I care for them all as if they were my own. I have owned dogs since I was a child and several years ago I began working with them. It has been beyond rewarding. I am trained in various commands and controlling difficult situations with dogs. I understand the needs of each individual dog varies and can work with any special needs. I am also a full time dog groomer. I know from personal experience how a pet is truly a important member of the family. It would be my pleasure to help care for your furry loved ones. I work as a dog groomer about 4 days a weeks. I would be available on days off and after work to spend the night with the fur babies. I will also be able to provide dog walking on days off or shorter days at the salon. I can care for the pets however it is requested at the parents home. I am comfortable administering medication, putting together meals and of course, snuggling. I know how to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds. I understand cats require different care and will be following instructions as provided.

“Janessa was absolutely incredible. Our dog has never been happier upon his return from a boarding experience; it was an awesome vacation for him as well! She has an extremely well-maintained and safe environment for dogs to run around and play all day. Our dog got to socialize with so many others, I really think this place is a doggy haven. Furthermore, Janessa is extremely kind and professional. She left us with daily video and photo updates of our dog enjoying himself. Our dog unfortunately also became ill very soon before the stay. We had to reconsider our plans at first and Janessa was very respectful. We ended up continuing with the plan but our dog required extra care and attention that we didn't initially expect. Despite this, Janessa handled everything with ease and content, including taking our dog to the vet when another unexpected medical issue occurred during the trip. She truly made us feel like our pet was in extraordinary care, which put us at ease and let us enjoy our time away on a highly anticipated trip while knowing our dog was happy and well looked after. I don't see myself using any of the local Kennels or boarders again after this experience, which was so much better than any others. She has them beat in service, professionalism, level of care, and pet experience.”
