“Autumn sat for our little Molly dog overnight for almost 2 weeks and she did a terrific job. Molly does not build trust quickly, but Autumn did good work befriending her and winning her over. Autumn was very patient and spoke calmly and warmly with Molly. She sent us regular updates while we were away, including pictures and some videos too! So that was a joy to see how our dog was doing. Autumn made us feel comfortable knowing Molly would have company in the evening, overnight, mornings and also sometimes during the mid-day, her schedule permitting. Autumn was very flexible with us on scheduling as well as being easy and pleasant to work with. We thank her for taking good care of our little girl. Also, Autumn departed our home as if she had never been here...it was very neat and tidy as we had left it.”

As a fitness trainer, I've learned how to take the experience of teaching and pair it with animal communication styles to create an environment in which the animal feels heard and validated, while still maintaining their routines and training. I have ample experience with large dogs throughout life. I've gotten German Shepard and pitbulls to go from trying to dominate me, to being warmly curled up next to me within an hour. I've also gotten prickly cats to go from hissing and scratching to rubbing up for cuddles. Elderly pets are sometimes the easiest, but I can easily work with their medication, bathroom, or additional needs without issue. You work hard, and your family deserves stress free fun! I can ensure your pet is happy, your house is safe, and your rules are followed. Your the boss, let me take care of the furred friends we cherish most! I am a fitness trainer with an incredibly flexible schedule. I can easily fit pet care into my weekly routine and provide ample availability to help keep them content and cared for. For dogs, my schedule typically provides more hours available for dog walks, especially in the mid to late afternoon. They'll never be waiting for someone who has to leave work and commute home through brutal traffic each day. I understand that letting someone care for your pet is an immense responsibility and requires an immense amount of trust. Especially when its someone off of an internet app! Its an even greater leap to trust someone into your home to provide pet care. My ultimate goal is to provide you a stress free environment to travel. “Miranda did an AMAZING job taking care of our two boys!!! We have 80+ lb labs who have a few quirks:) Buster eats remotes, phones, shoes etc. And both have "caught" bunnies and squirrels in the yard. I also feed them 3 times a day which can be annoying. We came home after 5 days! to happy and relaxed doggies. The house was in perfect condition and she even put sheets and towels in the wash and took out garbage and recycling. We were afraid we might run out of treats, which we did) and she bought them new ones! We got plenty of pictures and videos without ever having to ask. We felt completely at ease, even though we rarely leave the dogs. We would absolutely love to have Miranda to care for our boys again!!!”

About: Hello! My name is Dari, I am a WA native and I have been taking care of dogs since 2011 and cats since 2023. I have 2 kitties of my own that live in my home and 1 kitty I co-parent from afar with a previous partner. I have dog-sat and cat-sat for friends, family, and neighbors many times over the last few years and am excited to do so for you and your furry friends too. I have also had hamsters, hermit crabs, and a lovebird as pets too! No critter will be left not taken care of under my watch. I am currently teaching yoga and meditation in Seattle, Bothell, Kirkland, Bellevue, and Snoqualmie; I am often bopping around to and from the studio and am happy to drop-in to take care of your pets or take your dog for a walk! I am also not gone from home like most people for full shifts of work that last 8-10 hrs, I am gone at most for 6-7 hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with other days of the week being more like 2 hours away at a time! I live in an apartment but am a very active person and love taking dogs on long walks and to the dog park if desired. I am a very kind, soft, and loving person and truly believe animals pick up on this. It is very often I find myself talking to birds, squirrels, deer, and even today - a raccoon!!
