We’ve had some amazing dog sitters in the past, but the care Magdalena provided was on an entirely different level. Our previous sitters were great, but this was a different kind of care, more loving, affectionate, nurturing, and deeply connected than anything we’ve experienced before. We had actually been avoiding vacations over the past year because of our 14-year-old senior dog. With his mix of good and tough days, we were nervous about leaving him and wanted someone we truly trusted to handle any situation, especially since he can get anxious when we’re away. We interviewed a number of sitters, but choosing Magdalena was a no brainer. From the moment she walked through the door, both dogs were instantly drawn to her, and the feeling was clearly mutual. She immediately showered them with affection, and they didn’t leave her side the entire visit. While we were away, Magdalena was an absolute dream. She kept us constantly updated with photos and thoughtful daily summaries, which gave us so much peace of mind. She went above and beyond in her care, even taking them on daily field trips to dog parks and giving them long, enriching walks. What really stood out was how quickly she understood each dog’s unique needs. She recognized that our senior dog needed more mental stimulation, while our younger dog needed more physical activity, and she balanced both perfectly. In fact, her care seemed to give our older dog a bit of renewed energy. Magdalena is also an amazing trainer. Throughout her time with our dogs, she naturally introduced helpful training techniques and tips, which made a noticeable difference. We truly couldn’t be more impressed. Magdalena treated our dogs like her own, and it showed in how happy and well cared for they were. Because of the trust we now have in her, we feel much more confident about traveling in the coming months. It is such a relief knowing we have a sitter who will meet our dogs’ needs so exceptionally well. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional dog sitter.
We had Moriah stay at our house for 5 days while we were out of town to take care of our schnoodle and she was fantastic! Lots of pictures, she took him on walks, we arrived back to a clean home, and she just overall made us feel very comfortable leaving our house and furbaby. We will be reaching out to her again when the time comes, thank you Moriah!
Ming is wonderful. She was in contact with me, sending me pictures and messages daily during my 8 day trip. I came home to an immaculate home, and she had laundered her bedding and towels. My cat, Mr. Darcy, gotten from a local shelter three years ago, was very well cared for. I an very grateful for her.
Louisa was such a caring and responsible sitter for our senior cat. She kept us updated on his daily events and sent pics too. Like most cats, they can be fickle, but I could easily see he had warmed up to her and was very comfortable. We would use her again in a heartbeat! She’s considerate and puts the care of your animal first.
Anna was a fabulous dog sitter and we would not hesitate to hire her again! Excellent communication and care of our dog and our home. Samantha looked after Bodhi as if he were her own. She completely eased my helicopter mom heart within the first night of taking Bodhi. With endless photos and videos of adventures and cuddles, I wasn’t sure he was going to want to go home. I could tell my little guy was completely comfortable and happy when I saw how he would curl right into Samantha’s lap, when he doesn’t even do that with me at home. 10/10 review for Samantha, she is officially Bodhi’s auntie.
Niki was hands down the best Rover experience we had. From the first greeting, we knew the pups are gonna be well taken care of and in trusting hands. Niki communicated with us regularly keeping us posted how the pups are doing, and when we came back the pups were in a great shape.
