“Dexter is always so excited to be back with Catherine and Barney! Catherine looks after him like one of her own, and I feel happy and safe when he is there. He is in excellent hands and always comes home so tired from a day of fun!”

“Trudy is the best dog sitter I’ve ever used! She took such good care of Logan, and kept me updated with lots of pictures and videos throughout the day. She has been so kind and flexible and I have already rebooked her for two more dates! Highly recommend!”

About: Our family comprises of three kids and two Cocker Spaniels (Walter - 10 & Leila - 7) who share every adventure with us. From messing about on the boat, long walks on the Plain or snuggling up to us on the sofa, Walter & Lalia are indivisible from our lives. Our house is an actual stones throw from Salisbury Plain, which means our two dogs enjoy long walks with my wife or long runs with me and my son (on his bike). When summer finally arrives we all enjoy the sea and beach in Dorset with Walter & Laila joining our kids swimming digging and tearing about on the sand. As an Army Officer and my wife being a Midwife, we both regularly look after colleagues dogs due to the nature both professions. This has always resulted in more fun for the family as our kids spoil the guest dog - labs & border collies are my boy’s favourite!

“Oscar had a lovely time with Jackie. I felt relieved to be able to leave him for the day knowing that he would be well looked after. Jackie even gave him some lead training on his walk, which I’ve continued at home. There was a beautiful and secure garden for him to go in. Would highly recommend and definitely use this service again when visiting Dorset.”

“Sally was a great host for Asta. She is diligent, kind and friendly. You can tell she is used to caring for dogs and understands their individual personalities. Asta was instantly at home and I felt very comfortable leaving her there. We had lots of updates and it made me happy to see Asta had some furry snuggle spots to sleep on, which would have made her feel very comfortable 😌. Thanks Sally!”

“Our dog Rudy had the best day with Alexandra! We requested to book only the day before, Alexandra kindly accepted and helped us out with our urgent request and we couldn’t have been happier to find her. She was so professional, doing everything she could to ensure Rudy had a safe and happy stay with her, and providing loads of photos and info on the lovely country walk they went on. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and will be using her for any future dog sitting needs.”

About: My wife, Pisamai and myself have always had a dog until our beloved Dalmatian, Lexi died last year. We miss her so much, but travel a lot, so thought looking after other people's dogs might fill the void! My wife, Pisamai and myself are retired, so unless we are traveling, we spend most of our time either walking, cycling, or at home in Weymouth. We live in Weymouth and have fully fenced garden. We live 10 minutes walk from a beach and numerous other walks, including the Dorset Coast path.

“Bayley has had the best day spending doggy day care time with Beccy. she has come home very tired after fun and walks by the lake. She was clearly very well looked after for the day, allowing us to visit a local attraction whilst on holiday. we would definitely recommend ??”

“Teddy had a lovely day with Sandie. Sandie is very caring and treats each dog as a special individual. She has a lovely home and lovely local walks. Thank you Sandie for your care for Teddy today.”

“We met Ross a few weeks ago to introduce ourselves and our dog, Eddie. Yesterday we left Eddie with Ross for a full day and it's obvious that Eddie was very well looked after and that they enjoyed each other's company. There are some lovely walks where Ross lives so the two of them went out walking. Ross sent us some photos and updates throughout the day which is lovely. We will definitely use Ross's service again and have no hesitation in recommending him.”

“Ollie spent 2 days with Gary and Jenny whilst we were on holiday in the area. They had several other dogs in the property on the days Ollie went along, but Ollie enjoys being with other dogs so would have been very happy with that situation. Gary and Jenny were clearly very experienced sitters and had a good understanding of dog care. I would recommend them and re-book if we are in the area again in the future. Thank you so much.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs - we’ve had a Dalmatian/ husky / Labrador mix as well as a corgi and then a German shepherd rescue dog who was a very nervous and shy dog. I am proud foster mum to a stubborn sausage dog (who will be able to stay at his owners when I look after other dogs) and have experience looking after energetic spaniels, barky french bulldogs as well as kind and calm rescue dogs from Macao and Romania. I work from home and my job is very flexible so I can give your dog my full attention either at my home or in the home they are used to. I love spending time with furry friends - cuddles, playtime, long or short walks, I’m super easy, caring and attentive. I work from home, my job is very flexible and I can flex my work diary around commitments so can take time off and have plenty of time for walks, play time or wee breaks. I live in a two bed flat with a balcony and an enclosed garden area. I am near lots of fields and places to walk and let dogs run around

“Excellent, very friendly and helpful. Looked after our spaniel really well. Sent pics and reassured us she had settled. Will definitely use her and Jack again and highly recommend them.”

About: I’ve had dogs as a child and now own two cats and love taking care of them and would love to help other people with their pets too I have a lot of spare time and would love to start getting out more and helping others too caring for pets seems perfect for me. I feed and play with my cats at home, clean and brush them and have cared for dogs before I love walking and playing with them.

About: I am a huge animal lover and always have been. I had very understanding parents as a child so have experience of most domestic animals. I currently have my own little menagerie including a pony, two dogs, a cat and chickens. I have experience of all ages of dogs from very young puppies to dogs in their twilight years. I try to be as flexible as possible but do fit my Rover commitments in alongside teaching part time and caring for my own menagerie. I have recently moved to the Bridport area from London, where I previously walked dogs in my local area. I offer half hourly and hourly walks and have my own transport. In addition to dog walking I am able to offer a limited number of doggy day care slots and also drop in house visits/holiday cover for dogs, cats and smaller pets. I can feed, change litter trays and give lots of cuddles and playtime so your pet is happy and content whilst you are away. Prior to taking on a new client I like to offer a free meet & greet session so we can all get to know each other and I can have a detailed conversation with you about your pets requirements. If you have booked drop in visits I’ll ask you to show me where everything is that I will need to care for your pet when I visit.
