“We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Joe for looking after our two adopted dogs while we were away. Joe is reliable and friendly who is clearly really good with dogs. Joe has kept us updated whilst away and our dogs were very happy. Both of our dogs have health conditions and Joe had no issues administering their daily meds. Joe also left our house clean and tidy which was appreciated after a long dat of travelling back. We would highly recommend Joe to anyone, and hopefully he will agree to dog sit for us again in the future.”

“Emma was absolutely wonderful. I did not worry at all about leaving the dogs and house in her care as she inspired me with confidence from our first meeting. She had a difficult task ahead of her and was unphased by any of it. I have two wolfhounds, the younger one is a puppy and she was in season while Emma stayed; added to this were the obvious challenges a puppy can pose, trying its teeth out on this and that. My other dog is an anxious Kerry Blue terrier rescue with a very chequered and challenging history; Emma was sensitive to his needs and handled him beautifully. She also had to contend with thatchers working on the building while she was here, keeping them happy with refreshments when required! I cannot recommend her highly enough and wouldn’t hesitate to ask her again. Not only an extremely competent and cheerful lady but absolutely dependable and trustworthy in every which way. Huge thank yous to you, Emma 🤗”

“Tanya was great with my two dogs. A very cheerful calm person and I think the dogs warmed to her very quickly. One of my dogs is a bit difficult to get to know but he settled well and there were no problems. My other dog is a bit old and sometimes erratic eating but again settled well and followed Tanya round constantly. It was my first try doing home sitting but it was a great success and I’ll definitely do it again.”

“Kizzie is a kind, intelligent, calm & knowledgeable dog sitter. She looked after my dog who is only 4 months old for one week, and I have come back to a calm and well behaved little puppy. Thank you Kizzie for your care and attention to baby Molly. I would wholly recommend Kizzie. She kept me informed all week and I wasn’t worried at all about Molly. Thanks again.”

About: I have grown up with dogs and had them throughout my adult life. I currently have a 10 year old English springer spaniel who my partner Bruce and I absolutely adore. I work around what’s best for the dogs, so if the weather is hot I will ensure they get walked when it’s cooler so they can enjoy the walk and be comfortable. I have house sat for 3 dogs recently and the owner was so delighted and said the house was cleaner than when she left it. Consequently they have asked me to sit again. I am used to giving dogs medication also. I work full time Monday to Friday but can also work remotely. I am available in the mornings and evenings weekdays and weekends I can be more flexible. I have an enclosed garden and also have dog crate if needed. We have a lovely woodland area at the bottom of our road where it has lovely shaded areas and fresh water for dogs to bath in. We are lucky to also have a conservation area which is great for dog walks.

“Rich and Emma Well what can’t we say! Exceptionally kind, both took time to get to know our dogs prior to going away. Overall knowledge regarding canine care was brilliant. Felt they genuinely love what they do. Kept us updated regularly during our holiday with pictures and messages. Treated our house as if it was their own. Would highly recommend them to anyone who requires a dog sitter. Many Thanks Rich and Emma xx”

“Sophie is trustworthy, helpful, reliable and caring. She took care of my dog, whilst also looking after my home, when I was away. I was kept updated at all times and felt very reassured and confident to leave all that's precious to me in her care.”

About: I'm a dedicated and caring pet sitter based in the Tavistock area, currently a university student with a lifelong love of animals. I've been surrounded by pets since I was 10 years old, and over the years I’ve been trusted by friends and family to look after a wide range of cats and dogs—big, small, shy, playful, and everything in between! I’m based in Tavistock but happy to travel to Yelverton, Launceston, and nearby areas, thanks to having my own transport. I am in Devon for the summer so would be available to accommodate your and your pet’s needs most days! Whether you’re heading away for the weekend or need help during the day, I provide a loving, calm, and reliable environment for your pets while you're gone. I'm always on time, easy to communicate with, and great at following instructions—so you can rest easy knowing your furry friends are in safe hands. I truly love working with all kinds of pets and make it a priority to ensure they feel happy, comfortable, and well-cared for in your absence.

About: Hi! We are looking to cover an wide area of Devon. We are currently sitting full time and are booked up with sits for the rest of 2025 but we are available for walks and visits. Until the end of August we will be around the area of Yelverton. I’m Jodie, I grew up in a household that was always full of animals. From dogs, cats, and rabbits to ducks, chickens, and even a lizard, caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Though we don’t have pets of our own just yet, Caithlin and I are the people our friends and family call when they need someone trustworthy to care for their animals and homes. Caithlin comes from a big Irish family, where long holidays were common and their home quickly became the go to place for relatives pets, especially dogs! From the age of 12, she was helping care for her aunts and uncles beloved dogs, often having multiple furry visitors at once. As some of those dogs got older, Caithlin began house sitting in their own homes to make the transition easier and less stressful for them. She really understands how important it is for animals to feel secure and relaxed while their loved ones are away. Between us, we have the most experience with dogs and rabbits, but we’re comfortable and confident with a wide range of animals. Whether it’s long walks, enrichment play, medication routines, or just being a friendly face at home, we tailor our care to suit each pet’s needs. We also take great pride in looking after homes. We’re tidy, respectful, and love the rhythm of house sitting. I’m especially passionate about plants and gardening, so your leafy friends will be in good hands too! We’re calm, energetic, and reliable, and we genuinely love what we do. It’s a privilege to provide animals with loving, familiar care while giving owners peace of mind. Feel free to give us a call, we’d love to get to know you and your pets! I work as a telecoms engineer and travel around for jobs, which means I’m often able to bring well-behaved, comfortable dogs along with me for the day in the air conditioned truck. I usually start early and finish by around 2pm, so there’s plenty of time in the afternoon for walks, play, and attention. Caithlin works remotely full-time, with a consistent 9–5 schedule from home. So if your pet prefers company throughout the day or is more of a homebody, they won’t be left alone, there’ll always be someone around to keep them comfortable and cared for. On weekends we like to get out the house, whilst Caithlin likes to explore quaint local shops, I'm more of a nature explorer and like to take walks in rain or shine. At the moment, we only offer pet care in the owner’s home. We’ve found that pets are happiest and most relaxed when they’re in their own familiar environment, surrounded by the sights, smells, and routines they know best. It helps reduce stress, especially for more sensitive or older animals, and allows us to maintain their usual schedule as closely as possible. We take safety and trust seriously. We treat every home with the same care and respect we would our own, and always aim to leave things just as we found them. Your pet’s wellbeing is our top priority, and we’re committed to providing a calm, attentive, and loving presence while you’re away.

Amelia B.
“I’ve known Amelia since my daughter started primary school with her over 16 years ago, they have remained close friends ever since. Her love of dogs shone through the first day she came to our house and was introduced to our deerhound x greyhound, and many subsequent dogs since then! In all the years I’ve known Amelia, she has come across as a kind and caring individual when it comes to animals of any kind, and quite literally spoils them rotten! She also sets boundaries that are obviously required in pet ownership. She is trustworthy and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a dog Walker/ carer. She will always ensure the needs of your dog are paramount.”

Jodie H.
“We couldn't be happier with the care Caithlin and Jodie provided for our energetic Boxer and special needs Puggle while we were away. They house-sat for us for over two weeks, and it was such a relief knowing our pups were in such capable hands. They followed all our instructions perfectly, including their quirky feeding routines, and ensured our dogs stuck to their routine. We particularly appreciated the detailed daily updates and knowing Roxy and Ronnie were getting consistent, long walks. Communication dropped after the first week as they settled in but that's truly nitpicking considering how well they looked after everything else. Caithlin and Jodie are reliable, caring, and true animal lovers. Highly recommended for house sitting and dog walking”

Isabel M.
“Isable is a very caring and organised individual. Having experience with many different animals, having 3 of her own scaly babies. Isabel had experience with many different cats and different shapes and sizes of dogs. A bonus is that she can also drive and is an increasingly good and reliable driver.”

Ella E.
“Ella cared for my beloved pet cat with kindness and consideration. She took amazing care of her, seemed to genuinely love her, and clearly went to a lot of trouble to make my cat feel happy and loved. Ella communicated with me while I was away so I knew things were going smoothly. I think my cat has a new friend for life! I would thoroughly recommend Ella as a pet sitter for anyone else.”
