“Picked up a late notice booking after we had someone cancel, came and gave George a lovely looking walk in the late afternoon sun. Always polite and understanding of us and George's needs.”

“Amazing as always, excellent care taken of our two cats who love the visits. Great communication and I know they are in good hands which helps us to relax while we are away. Thanks so much!”

“So, so happy! We have a 15, nearly 16, year old rescue cat and I didn’t want to put him in a cat hotel as he had been abandoned and had since been wondering around the village for over a month or two. He is now very comfortable in our home. ❤️ Charlotte always kept us up to date with the home visits and sent lovely photos of our Jasper whilst we were away. She went above and beyond for us Would 100% recommend ❤️ Thank you so much! X”

“Kaye is a lovely lady and wonderful with our two dogs Ozzee and Rockee. She is reliable and caring and they both love her. I would highly recommend Kaye. She has looked after our doggies twice for drop in visits and we have booked her for house sitting in June when I know they and our house will be in safe hands.”

“Sarah helped me out very last minute, so was extremely grateful for her to help. She kept me well-informed, whilst I was out which helped me feel at ease knowing Vinnie was being well cared for. From the pictures and messages, it was clear that she was giving him plenty of attention and making sure he was happy. I really appreciated her thoughtfulness and communication, and I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Although I wasn’t home during Aimme’s visit to play with Vinnie, I was really impressed with her communication throughout. She sent me regular updates and pictures, which really put my mind at ease and showed me how well Vinnie was doing. It was clear that she was giving him lots of attention and care. I really appreciated her keeping me informed, and it made me feel confident that Vinnie was in good hands. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and thoughtful pet sitter!”

About: I have grown up around pets my whole life. My parents use to train hearing puppies for the blind and I grew up with two dogs, one who sadly passed away at 19 and one who is currently 14 (both border terriers). I work 9-5 during weekdays and have free weekends. I love looking after animals so I am happy to travel to look after your pet/pets! I work remotely so I am available most of the time (except Thursdays). I am more than happy to come and stay for a day, walk at any time or just pop in for a little bit. I look after my own dog and use to dog sit regularly.

“Nyah was friendly and communicative from the beginning. We met briefly before her visit to look after Artemis, and I could instantly tell Nyah cares about animals. She looked after Artemis exactly as we discussed and sent me a message so I would have peace of mind. I will be coming to Nyah again when I need someone to care for Artemis.”

About: I have grown up with dogs and have been looking after dogs since 2020. I can take them overnight, and the longest I had a dog was for 5 weeks when the owners had a family emergency outside the UK. It is now a very normal routine for me. I work from home 5 days a week, and have been looking after dogs since 2020, usually for friends and family. When I am out and about, I take them with me. I have a 2 bed house, and a fenced backyard, and I normally go out for walk, weather depending, 2 - 3 times a day. My daughter (18) loves to play ball and there is a huge park 1 min away from where I am, so that is handy. For pet owners home, I will follow as instructed.

About: I can't remember a time where I wasn't obsessed with animals. Growing up I had rabbits, hamsters and ferrets and we always had family dogs (usually 2 at a time!) which were normally spaniels or Labradors. I have owned my own French Bulldog, Clover, for 5 years now and, whilst she is my whole world and I love her with every part of me, she isn't quite as keen for walks as she once was! I genuinely love being outside walking in all weathers and I am therefore hoping to walk other peoples dogs/care for them to fill the dog walking obsession that Clover isn't always capable of fulfilling! I have worked on Livery Yards, volunteered at the Blue Cross Animal Sanctuary and I have also volunteered at a Dog Hydrotherapy Centre. My parents used to own their own dog walking/dog daycare/dog grooming business for many years so I've plenty of experience being around other peoples dogs. My parents have also had litters from a couple of their spaniels over the years so I also have experience with puppies. I work full time as a property lawyer but I often work from home and I am available for walks early mornings (Clover won't get up before noon!), evenings and weekends. I can also do drop in visits on the days I work from home and I can housesit over weekends. I am happy to go out walking in all weathers! I am DBS checked. I won't have any animals stay at my house as Clover might get cross. However, I am more than comfortable creating a safe environment in another pet owner's home.

About: I've helped with pets since I was a child but actively cared for dogs and cats for the last 10 years. Used to dealing with animals with prescription and lifestyle requirements, happy to discuss your pets individualities and adhere to their schedules where possible. I work from home so can be there for them when needed. HR professional working hybrid. I work in the office on Thursdays so cannot look after pets that day between 7am and 7pm but otherwise working from home throughout the week so I can be flexible all day around my video and telephone call meetings. For drop in visits, it will likely be early morning and evening with possibly an additional visit at lunch time depending on the location. I have one dog and 2 cats at home. Used to helping with medication, walking (dog only!), vet visits and feeding schedules. I understand all pets are different and look at each opportunity to meet your pets individually. I understand routine can be very important and would look to keep this for you pet (especially in your absence), if possible.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. I understand and enjoy their little quirks and personalities. Play with them is the highlight of pet sitting I work from home with flexible schedule so I am happy and available to pop out for a walk any time day or evening :) I can take care of the dog in your house or bring them to mine where I am surrounded by lovely green fields where play and run

About: I've grown up with family dogs (and a cat) including a cairn terrier, a labrador, a golden labrador, a cockapoo and a jack russel cross corgi. I was the main trainer for the cockapoo that we brought as a puppy. The jack russel, (Barty), is a rescue and wasn't in good health when we first got him. We made sure to make him feel safe, loved and looked after his health (diet food and nice walks) and now I am pleased to say he is so much happier. My parents live an hour away with Barty and Alfie (the cockapoo) and I often go and dog-sit when they go away or they drop them round my flat. I miss having dogs around and would be delighted to look after yours. I work full-time in an office so I am not suitable for pets that need constant companionship. I would walk and feed your pet before and/or after work. Over the weekends I can be present the whole time and adapt to your and your pets' preferences. I am in a second floor flat so your pet would need to be comfortable with stairs. We have a lovely shared garden where I can take your pet for bathroom breaks. I have a spacious flat with plenty of room for your pet to roam and I will ensure that they have a comfy place to lie/sit/sleep depending on their preferences.

I work from home in Abingdon, which allows me to be highly flexible with my schedule. About: I have grown up with German Shepherds my whole life. When moving out of home I had a Leonberger with several behaviour issues and more recently live with my girlfriend Chloe, and Biscuit, our nearly 4 year old golden Lab. Chloe has looked after many dogs whilst using Rover. I work full time as a physio for the NHS so I am only looking to have an extra dog or too over the weekend. Most the time it would be alongside biscuit but enquire for details! New to Rover but have looked after many dogs alongside my girlfriend whose profile can be found, Chloe Welch. A small secure back garden is no problem when living in the countryside a few yards from the Thames path, with secure fields around for long walks, of the lead if you wish. Ground floor open plan flat with room to play tug of war or lounge about on the sofa as they wish.

“Katherine is a genuine, reliable and trusted friend who is absolutely brilliant with my dog, Dexter. She loves him and all animals with her whole heart. I can't recommend her enough if you want a caring, loving and patient sitter. Dexter loves a cuddle with Katherine and I am sure you're fur baby will too.”

Craig K.
“I have a 14 year old cat who requires pain and anti inflammatory drugs twice a day and feeding 3 times. Craig is always happy to give her food and medication when we can’t adhering to her strict dietary requirements, cares for her, checks her water and litter regularly as needed and my cat has now accepted that he’s not too bad (high praise indeed). She doesn’t like people and he understands that she isn’t going to want attention unless it’s on her terms and he doesn’t overwhelm her, scare her or make her angry with unwanted attention, just allows her to be herself. Would highly recommend Craig as he is such a caring and thoughtful man who will bend over backwards to help and care for your pets!”

“We can whole heartedly recommend Gillian and her two sons Ned and Noah to look after and care for anyone’s beloved pets. Gillian looked after our 16 week old cocker spaniel puppy, a real handful! We received some beautiful photos and updates that really reassured us that Mabel ( our baby ) was in good hands. When it came to collect her it was clear she had been cared for and had definitely made herself at home all over their house and garden! Thanks again to all three of you. We hope to bring Mabel to you many more times in the future!”

Dominique J.
“Dominique regularly takes Coco our one year old labrador for lovely long walks and some over night stays. Coco always comes home happy and tired from all the fun and enjoyable walks. Dominique is always kind and caring towards Coco and as soon as Coco hears her voice she gets so excited as she knows she is off for another great adventure. Thank you Dominique for always taking care of our dog.”
