“Michandra and her family took wonderful care of Elf. He looked so happy and calm and he was having so much fun in all the lovely updates I received. Feel so lucky to have found a sitter like Michandra. Super flexible and understanding about flight changes and pick up/drop off times. She did a great job of making sure he took all his medication as needed.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole adult life and wouldn’t know what life is like without them. I have an aging Beagle called Poppy who still enjoys long walks and longer naps. I’ve recently retired and now look forward to spending time with more fur babies, giving them the love and attention they need so you can enjoy your holiday I’m a retired active woman with nothing but time on my hands and a gorgeous beagle. We walk twice a day right from the house as I’m fortunate enough to have lots of lovely walks right on my doorstep. My garden is completely enclosed and safe. My home is comfortable and dogs are welcome on the sofa for cuddles. I have a large crate available if the dog wants to use it.
“Can massively recommend Sophie and Ash! Our dog Poppy had a brilliant time, was really well looked after and came back worn out (in a good way!). Sophie was fantastic at keeping in touch and sending regular updates and photos which we really appreciated.”

“Tilly had a great first stay with Sara and her family. We were a bit nervous as Tilly had recently been struggling to settle at night but Sara was really flexible about accommodating her changed routine. We got really regular updates and can see she was really spoilt during her stay!”

“Clare could not have been more helpful. She agreed to take Lilly when she was recovering from an operation. She was very welcoming and reassuring and kept us up to date while we were away. Lilly had a lovely time and especially enjoyed her time with Biscuit and Clare’s children. Thank you.”

“Jackie and family were so great with our Spaniel, they only had her interests at heart and gave her so much attention. We definitely recommend them and will be using them again (hopefully) they took her on all kinds of adventures and catered for her every need. House is lovely and secure and we didn’t have a worry at all about leaving the dog with them.”

“Thank you so much Monika for looking after Tayah over the Christmas period. We got updates and pictures throughout and Tayah had a lovely time and loved frequent walks and lots of fuss and cuddles, will definitely be booking with you again in the future :)”

“Stacey took really good care of our cat Caesar whilst we were away. She went out of her way to make him feel comfortable and happy, and kept me updated throughout the week. She was patient with him as he was a bit scared, and gave him lots of attention and the odd treat, which I’m sure he loved! I would recommend Stacey to anyone who needs their cat looked after.”

“Emmanuel and Jo took our 1 yr old puppy for 4 nights boarding at short notice and we are very grateful to them for looking after him so well! He's a very active dog and they took him out several times a day for walks and runs, kept him busy and occupied with new experiences. They kept us informed every day with photos letting us know what they'd been doing and made sure our dog felt comfortable at all times. Communication was great and we'd love to have them sit again if our dog wasn't too much for them! Thank you both 🙏”

“Leo really had the best time with Amanda and Jeremy and Bailey the sweetest spaniel. They took the time to make sure Leo would be comfortable with them and Bailey and It really felt like nothing was too much trouble. We got lots of photos during his stay. Now when my husband walks past their house Leo literally tries to drag him in. We would 1000% recommend them.”

I would highly recommend her and definitely contact her again for future stays. Thank you so much Megan and Craig for taking such good care of Charlie 🥰”

“Olivia and Harry provided such a welcoming environment for my dog who has separation anxiety. He was treated so well and it’s clear they have lots of experience. He loved his overnight stay and was reluctant to come home with me when I picked him up - which is a sure sign he received the best care.”

“Dominique was absolutely fantastic with Bert. From the moment we met her, it was clear she genuinely cares about dogs and takes her responsibilities seriously. Bert was so well looked after — happy, relaxed, and clearly very comfortable in her care. Dominique kept us updated, was reliable and thoughtful throughout, and went above and beyond to make sure Bert felt settled and loved. It gave us real peace of mind knowing he was in such safe hands. I would not hesitate to recommend Dominique to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and attentive sitter. We would be delighted for Bert to stay with her again in the future”

We will definitely use her services again for as long as she is available!”

“It has been such a nice and reassuring experience having Emily look after my cat. I was reassured from first meeting that Emily radiated good vibes. I've had lots of pictures back and communication and it is clear that my cat has been very happy with her company. I'm particularly pleased that Emily spent plenty of time with my cat giving her attention and love rather than just chucking food down and leaving .. About: My dad and step-mum have 4 rescue cats, so I know the range of personalities cats can have. Some extremely social and lively and others who are very shy. We have had some since kittens and some as older cats. I am happy to fuss them as much as they like and also give them space if they like to be alone. I love being able to interact, play and fuss them. I will try my best to suit whatever the needs of your cat are.
“Kaye has taken fantastic care of our baby kitten Socks. She was with him for 10 days and Socks has been so happy and relaxed and so evidently well cared for!!! She sent us many videos and pictures of him every day. We couldn't be happier, strongly recommend!!!”

About: I have been a dog owner since my early childhood. I have experience looking after puppies as well as senior dogs. I currently have a very energetic dog that requires lots of walks. She is very friendly and misses a lot her companion, our dachshund that passed away 3 years ago. I am in full time employment, however I work from home twice a week, Mondays and Fridays. I am also available for dog walks and pet sitting most weekends. I can house and pet sit or do drop in visits as and when needed provided it is within a driving distance and detailed instructions are provided with regards to pet care if your pet has custom requirements.
About: I have had and loved dogs for all my life. From having just finished my rowing scholarship in the USA, I now want to delve into my other passions which is working with animals and animal care. My family has had purebreds from Rhodesian Ridgeback’s, Labradors, West Highland Terriers to rescues (that obviously are a whole range of breeds). We currently have two Romanian rescue dogs, Tora and Finn. They were both one year old when we got them and both had traumatic pasts. It has taken around a year for both of them to feel more settled and comfortable doing most things like even getting into a car. Thus, I have experience with dogs who have had a rough beginning. I am an active person and love going on hikes, jogs and camping trips with them. My favorite thing is to see any dog running around, tails up, happy and knowing I’m giving them a fun, adventure filled life that they deserve. I am available at the weekdays and weekends for walking, dog sitting and drop in visits. I am able to do longer hikes or jogs with your dogs too (if they are younger or high energy). If you leave them with me, they will have a great time, get some treats and will most likely come back to you tired and ready for a nap. I usually travel with my dogs in my dog seat cover / basket on my backseats. I will usually give my dogs treats occasionally throughout the day and probably yours too as well as making sure their water bowl is full. I will always chill with my dog too and play with them when they start getting their energy back. When I hike/ jog with my dogs, it will always be in a safe area and I usually try out new/different trails where I use an extender lead or let them off to explore (but, will obviously do whatever you would feel comfortable with in terms of on/off a lead). I will also adjust where I walk my dogs (or any dog) depending on the weather so, if it is hotter, I will usually walk them near a water source, forest or somewhere with shade. But, if it is cooler, I would more likely go to places like the ridgeway etc… where the sun would be a problem for longer walks. Your dog will most likely get muddy or wet on walks (with the crazy English weather) but, I always use towels to dry/ clean them up

I am more than happy to send regular updates, just let me know. Any questions, just ask.

“Deanne was very friendly and well prepared for Nevis first visit. He was happy to see her and rushed into the house. He had a lovely walk with her and Poppy. Completely happy for Nevis to stay again with Deanne.”

About: Dog obsessed and experienced with dogs of all temperaments. I’ve been walking dogs for over 16 years for clients, friends, and family, as well as volunteering at a dog rescue where I worked and trained with shy and reactive dogs. I’ve also owned a Romanian rescue dog for the past 5 years, which has given me hands on experience training in handling reactivity, building trust and understanding the full needs of a reactive dog. I'm currently working from home so my schedule is very flexible and can walk your dog whenever suits you and your furry friend. I am available Mon-Fri and most weekends. I have a fully fenced secure garden and live close to lots of lovely areas to walk and play. Love to go for long walks and go for some adventures!
“Wanda spent a great day with Lisa. My Wanda had a treatment on her paws and Lisa applied it without problem. She spent a great day resting and exploring the garden. Very happy with the service, I definitely recommend daycare with Lisa.”

“Orla had a great time with Junior and Fabiana! She enjoyed her nice long walks, gets along really well with Blu and comes home a very happy girl every time. They’ve also been really flexible even with last minute requests, highly recommend 😊”

“Jing & Eugene took great care of Mizuki and she had the best day with them! They were really accommodating to her needs and kept us updated throughout the day with pictures and messages.”

“Monika is very welcoming and took good care of Mochi. This is Mochi’s first day care experience. Monika communicated with me throughout the day to update his situation so that I can have peace of mind. I will definitely book again with Monika.”

“This was our first time using Rover and we couldn’t be happier! From the initial meet and greet it was clear that Roisin and Alex were dog lovers and their puppy is lovely too! Throughout the day of day care we were kept well informed of how our dog, Leia, was and with lots of photos of her receiving cuddles and looking right at home! It’s so comforting to know she’s being cared for like a home away from home and we won’t hesitate to have her stay with them again in the future ☺️”

“We felt Mickey was in very safe hands with Dominique. She was quick to communicate, friendly and professional. Dominique clearly loved and understood dogs' needs. Very happy to book again.”

About: I love pets and have 6 of my own. I worked for We love Pets for a couple of years and trained in pet first aid. Two dogs one small breed terrier that’s full of energy and absolutely ball crazy. My second dog is a lab already a old girl and the gentle giant in the family. Then there is four cats of different sizes and temperament making up a lot of experience with pets all around. I walk my own dogs for an hour at 6am and then again in the evening. I have time every afternoon to walk as my pups get too tired having two walks a day already. I enjoy walks in parks and high energy playful dogs as well. Especially if it includes ball throwing. If your fur baby has any quirks or specific requirements then just let me know in advance. I currently work with pets full time and have a great relationship with my customers. I can do walks every day depending on my schedule. I have a fenced in garden and lovely walks near my home. Also a large crate available for dogs that nap better in a crate.
“Megan and Craig are absolutely lovely. We had a meet and greet with them first, with our puppy. They’re really enthusiastic, relaxed and clearly love dogs, even boisterous puppies like ours! So we felt confident in them immediately. This was our puppy, Crumpet’s, first time of being left for the day without one of us, and Megan was really understanding and supported/looked after Crumpet really well and Crumpet seemed very happy at Megan’s house. We’ll definitely be booking Megan and Craig again.”

“Gemma took wonderful care of our cocker spaniel while we were away for six days. She had a fantastic time with Gemma and her family, and especially enjoyed playing with their dogs. She was taken on regular trips to the park, where she could run off-lead and play freely. Gemma also sent regular photos and updates, which kept us reassured and informed throughout. It was clear she treated our dog as if she were one of her own. I would highly recommend Gemma to anyone considering her for doggy daycare or boarding.”

“I am so glad to have found Emily and Ed to look after Ghillie two days a week. Emily took the time to understand Ghillie’s needs and story, which put me at ease. I experience them both as kind and caring; communication is smooth and easy. Highly recommend ☺️”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, from big softies like Rottweilers to cheeky little terriers so I’m used to all sorts of personalities and energy levels. I recently had to say goodbye to my rescue brindle Lurcher (you’ll spot her in a lot of my photos), who was my beloved shadow for over 10 years and my Rover pet sitting coworker! I work from home full-time so your dog will have plenty of company throughout the day and won’t be left alone for long (or at all if that’s what they need). I’ve looked after a lot of high need rescue dogs including my own, so I completely understand that some dogs need a bit of extra patience, reassurance and time to settle and that’s absolutely fine with me. I live in a quiet ground-floor flat with a secure enclosed garden, and there’s a big park nearby for walks, whether your dog loves a good run or prefers a slower wander. I’ll always follow your routine as closely as possible and I will keep you updated while you’re away so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, happy, and well looked after. As I am working from home I can be accommodating to your dogs needs, if they need walks or medication administered at a certain time etc. I will only walk your dog on the lead with the exception of regulars that I have got to know over time, as I need to be confident I can keep them safe.
“Jupiter had a lovely day with Kyla, Duncan and Copper. Kyla was super patient with Jupiter (and me!) when I dropped him off and was not at all phased by his initial anxiety at being left. She took the time to ask about him and his preferences and gently let him get used to being in a new place. I had some great photos and a video and felt totally reassured and confident that he was settled, happy and being well looked after. Duncan and Kyla also accepted my booking at the very last minute when I had been let down by another sitter. They couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful :) I would absolutely recommend them and wouldn’t hesitate to leave Jupiter with them again.”

“Olivia stepped up at short notice and took lovely care of our little excitable dog. She had a great time playing with her dogs and a delightful day all round. Will definitely book again!”

“Thanks again so much for another lovely day with you. Cooper is always relaxed and happy when he comes home so I can tell he's had a good time with you. I really appreciate how aware you are of his nervousness around other dogs and the way you deal with this. We're really glad we've found you!”

“She is great, Bori came back home and slept five hours straight which I took as a real fun hanging out with Amanda’s doggo during two walks. He looked like he had a good comfortable day.”

About: I live in Abingdon with my husband and our two children, and we share our home with our adorable dog, Coco. She is well socialised and loves meeting and playing with new friends. As a family, we enjoy getting out for walks both locally and in the nearby countryside. We are a dog-loving household, and I would be a caring and responsible sitter for your lovable pooch. I am a teacher so available half terms and holidays. Please do check in as I usually have longer holidays than state schools. Our days consists of outside time in our garden and at least 2 walks. Lots of cuddle time in-between, of course. We have a fenced garden which is very secure. I aim to keep to your dog’s feeding and walking routine with lots of love and attention given.
About: Hello, You can be assured your furry friend will be looked after very well. I've grown up with lots of furry friends and have always been surrounded by dogs, cats, fish, chickens, ducks, geese and a whole host of furry pals. They are beautiful animals with souls of their own and I try to understand their 'silent' communication with us. While I care for your furry pal, give them comfort and make them feel relaxed, content and exercised, you can go on holiday safe in the knowledge they will be looked after. IMPORTANT NOTES: New clients: I only accept house-sitting bookings for 7+ I can walk your pals, but need a regular booking not just a one-off 1 or 2 day house-sitting bookings are not possible. I need to justify the mileage to your home and back. Included in the daily fee (which works out to be £1.66/hour over a 24hour period), I will take your dog for a daily walk. They must be 'good on the lead' - i.e. no pulling (as I'm an older lady and my wrists hurt!). DOG WALKING AND DROP-IN REQUESTS I do take dogs for walks and do drop-ins, the house/pet sitting takes priority. If I'm unavailable for walking, it may be that I'm already booked for a house/pet sit. YOUR HOME I will keep your house secure and tidy, and will leave it as I entered it. I will wash and clean anything I have used and replace any food I may have eaten, although as a general rule, I order a box from a home delivery service for the time I'm with you. All I need is: - a shelf in your fridge - a small space in your freezer - somewhere to write/read I will not take any food from your fridge or cupboards, however, if an emergency happens, I will replace anything that I take. SPECIAL NOTE: Please do not expect: Dog /pup training - although I do play with your dog! Housecleaning or ironing service - although I will keep your home tidy/clean. I will bring real meat (dried) treats and toys with me, so if there's anything your pet doesn't need/want or desire, please let me know. I only bring authentic, real meat (dried) treats and biscuits - NOT smackos, bonios or raw hide. I have created a YouTube channel, Guardian4Dogs, and upload my own videos of my stay with your pals. Will upload without personal details, my experiences with house and pet sitting: Please note your booking with me begins at 11am and ends at 11am. If you would like me to end 2hours or more later than 11am on the final day, there will be a percentage charge that reflects the additional hours. I do not offer services from my own home-sitting facilities. Your pet is in trustworthy hands and their care is important to me. For this reason, please leave me: - a schedule of your dog's day (time they wake up and go to bed). - a list of things your pet needs, vets details and a neighbour's details. - a list of words that your pet knows, so that I can communicate best with them. - a list of foods that your pet does and does NOT eat, so that their stomach isn't upset by new foods or treats.
“Nadia communicated well with us throughout. She was not phased by Koda’s rescue-dog anxieties and supported her well on her long daily walks. Koda was always happy to go with her - Thank you!”

About: I’ve always been a dog person: I grew up with terriers and later rescued a collie, so I’m used to everything from cheeky, high‑energy pups to clever working breeds who need plenty of stimulation. I love long walks, playing games, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. Whether your dog needs a fun adventure or a gentle, confidence‑building stroll, I’m here to make sure they have a great time. I have a tiny cat called pepper, and greatly appreciate my wonderful friends that visit her when I am travelling. I am keen to give back and ensure that pet lovers can enjoy their travels, in the confidence that their furry friend is taken care of. I'm fully flexible outside of office hours for pet visits and dog walks. Unfortunately working full-time has meant I've been unable to bring a new dog home since the loss of my collie. I particularly miss our evening walks and so I now love to help take take of your furry companions. Available early mornings, evenings and weekends. I always offer a meet and greet, to ensure I have all the necessary information, and that you are comfortable leaving your pet in my care.
About: As a veterinary student and lifelong animal lover, I love spending my time around pets, ensuring they’re safe, happy, and cared for just like they were my own. When you’re away, your pets deserve a holiday too — and with me, they’ll get one filled with love, play and may even come back having had a better time that you. Whether it’s long walks, belly rubs, or simply a comforting presence, I provide the perfect mix of professional knowledge and genuine affection — so you can enjoy your time away knowing your best friend is in the best hands. I’m a veterinarian in training so I have the skills to administer any medication and just this little extra care some pets may need. I have a very long summer so am not going to university at the moment and I work from home too so I will be around all day to look after your dog. When looking after pets in their own home, I make sure they feel completely at ease in their familiar surroundings. I follow your usual routines — from mealtimes to walks to bedtime snuggles — so your pet’s day feels just like it would if you were there. I bring the same energy, love, and attentiveness I give my own pets, ensuring they get plenty of play, exercise, and comfort. Whether that’s riverside strolls, field adventures, or quiet garden time, I adapt to each animal’s personality and needs, keeping them happy, healthy, and stress-free until you return.
“I don’t understand why she marks everywhere outside, would have thought it’d stop after she was spayed but got worse. She’s not her full self at the minute but we are giving her leg another week on different painkillers and reviewing next Monday. Thanks Cluny!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs, cats, hamsters, horses, fish, cows, you name it. It feels pointless going on a walk without a dog to me. I’d love the chance to meet some people and animals, and spend my evenings being productive. Since moving away from home I miss my dogs so much! I have helped my mum raise them, I’ve looked after puppies from birth, old dogs who need meds and naughty dogs too who need some discipline. So I will do my best to help out and suit whatever your pets needs are, I’m really easygoing and flexible. I do have a full time job, I work 8am -4:15 pm. It’s relatively flexible if I need to leave early or go and check on a pet at lunch time. If I have enough notice I can also work from home. My evenings are always quite free which is the ideal time to help out. I’ve always been responsible and respectful, and have been trusted to babysit in other peoples homes. I am renting a room in someone’s home so I am used to respecting someone else’s space and property.
“Cora took care of the morning walks for our enthusiastic collie for a couple of weeks while we were recovering from covid, and was punctual, communicative and friendly; plus Rylan loved every minute of it. Recommended wholeheartedly.”

“Alice went above and beyond for all of my dogs walks. Taking into consideration all her needs, and making sure she was comfortable and happy. I will 100% recommend her services and will be rebooking again soon.”

“Clare has been amazing with Jolene who is a rescue and can be a little unsure of people at first. She has really come out of her shell on her walks with Clare! Thank you 😊”

“Clare could not have been more helpful. She agreed to take Lilly when she was recovering from an operation. She was very welcoming and reassuring and kept us up to date while we were away. Lilly had a lovely time and especially enjoyed her time with Biscuit and Clare’s children. Thank you.”

“Claire is very friendly and accommodating. From the 1st contact is has been a smooth and clear process. Neo enjoyed his stay at her place. She has updated me regularly with his food and activities. Will definitely book again with her in future. Thank you so much for looking after Neo. X”

“Took Lilo, my little whippet here for a stay and she had the best of stays! Entertained throughout and has gained a new friend in Butters Will definitely use them again in the future”

About: I've had both dogs and cats my whole life, from tiny Pomeranians to a German Shepherd, so I'm comfortable caring for pets of all sizes and personalities. Since moving to the UK, I've also gained experience through BorrowMyDoggy, looking after some wonderful furry friends. Some of my favourite guests include Lola the Maltese, Winston the giant Goldendoodle, and Cooper, a darling three-toothed cat! ❤️ I don't have any children or pets of my own, so your pet will enjoy a calm, quiet home with plenty of love and affection. We also have an unfenced meadow just outside for short walks, sniffing, and the occasional zoomies! Your pet's safety is my top priority. I keep doors and windows secure during warmer weather and use fans to keep the house cool and comfortable. I'm always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet before a booking so you, and most importantly your pet, can get to know me and feel completely at ease. I absolutely adore animals and look forward to the opportunity to care for your pet as if they were my own. I can't wait to meet you both! I work full-time, splitting my week between the office (3 days) and working from home (2 days). When I'm caring for a furry guest, I'm happy to adjust my schedule so I can be home more often. On office days, I'm only a 15-minute cycle from home, and I also have a car if needed. My office is also dog-friendly, so with your permission and if it's the right fit for your pup, they may even be able to join me at work! I live in a comfortable two-bedroom townhouse, so there's space for pets who enjoy a quiet retreat as well as those who prefer to be by my side throughout the day. Weekends are usually relaxed. I enjoy spending time at home and taking leisurely walks around the neighbourhood, making it the perfect time for extra sniffs, cuddles and playtime! I don't have any children or pets of my own, so your pet will have my full attention during their stay. For your pet's safety, I will always keep them on a lead when we are outside unless you have specifically discussed another arrangement with me. I’m happy to take dogs for walks in the morning and evening before and after work, as well as offering a final toilet break before bedtime. I want your dog to feel as comfortable as possible while they’re away from home, so you’re welcome to bring their bed, blanket, or any familiar items that help them settle in. I’m very safety-conscious in my home and keep doors and windows securely closed so pets can relax safely. During warmer weather, I make sure they stay comfortable with fans and other cooling measures. In the unlikely event of an emergency, I have a car that I can use to transport your pet if needed.
“Betsy was in good hands with Silma and her family. They were patient and understanding and Betsy seemed happy and at ease! Communication was great. I wouldn't hesitate to leave her with Silma again.”

“Emma is amazing! She is perfect in communicating and sent me updates on Balu nearly every day, as she asked me how many updates I would like from the beginning of my trip, which I thought was great! Balu trusted her immediately and was really happy and healthy returning back to me. Thank you Emma!”

“Fantastic stay! Joe has been fantastic from first contact. Really easy contact amd arrangements. Joe has been so accommodating and my dog, Pinkman, clearly loves staying there! Joe sent lovely photos and videos of our dog very happy in his stay, playing and snoozing like a home from home.”

“Graci is lovely. Her flat is immaculate Graci was very welcoming. Raggsie was very happy. Graci took Raggsie out for a couple of walks and we had a happy, well exercised dog on our return. We would definitely use Graci again and totally recommend her.”

“Klaudia and her family were absolutely fabulous with Monty! I got regular photo updates and he looked to be having the best time in every photo. Monty got on so well with their family dog which was another bonus. I would definitely book again with Klaudia and would highly recommend anyone else who wants a loving, home from home environment for their dog to book with her as well!”

“My cocker spaniel Louis was looked after very well by Ziyi and her partner. I received lots of photos and updates, questions about why he hadn’t eaten all his dinner etc Felt reassured that he was being cared for whilst I was away (I really worry about my dog!) He will miss his “girlfriend” (their lovely golden cocker spaniel) too! Thank you for taking such good care of Louis. Highly recommended 😊”
