About: I’ve had dogs my whole adult life and wouldn’t know what life is like without them. I have an aging Beagle called Poppy who still enjoys long walks and longer naps. I’ve recently retired and now look forward to spending time with more fur babies, giving them the love and attention they need so you can enjoy your holiday I’m a retired active woman with nothing but time on my hands and a gorgeous beagle. We walk twice a day right from the house as I’m fortunate enough to have lots of lovely walks right on my doorstep. My garden is completely enclosed and safe. My home is comfortable and dogs are welcome on the sofa for cuddles. I have a large crate available if the dog wants to use it.

About: I have been a dog owner since my early childhood. I have experience looking after puppies as well as senior dogs. I currently have a very energetic dog that requires lots of walks. She is very friendly and misses a lot her companion, our dachshund that passed away last year. I am in full time employment, however I work from home twice a week, Mondays and Fridays. I am also available for dog walks and pet sitting most weekends. I can house and pet sit or do drop in visits as and when needed provided it is within a driving distance and detailed instructions are provided with regards to pet care if your pet has custom requirements.

About: I have had and loved dogs for all my life. From having just finished my rowing scholarship in the USA, I now want to delve into my other passions which is working with animals and animal care. My family has had purebreds from Rhodesian Ridgeback’s, Labradors, West Highland Terriers to rescues (that obviously are a whole range of breeds). We currently have two Romanian rescue dogs, Tora and Finn. They were both one year old when we got them and both had traumatic pasts. It has taken around a year for both of them to feel more settled and comfortable doing most things like even getting into a car. Thus, I have experience with dogs who have had a rough beginning. I am an active person and love going on hikes, jogs and camping trips with them. My favorite thing is to see any dog running around, tails up, happy and knowing I’m giving them a fun, adventure filled life that they deserve. I am available at the weekdays and weekends for walking, dog sitting and drop in visits. I am able to do longer hikes or jogs with your dogs too (if they are younger or high energy). If you leave them with me, they will have a great time, get some treats and will most likely come back to you tired and ready for a nap. I usually travel with my dogs in my dog seat cover / basket on my backseats. I will usually give my dogs treats occasionally throughout the day and probably yours too as well as making sure their water bowl is full. I will always chill with my dog too and play with them when they start getting their energy back. When I hike/ jog with my dogs, it will always be in a safe area and I usually try out new/different trails where I use an extender lead or let them off to explore (but, will obviously do whatever you would feel comfortable with in terms of on/off a lead). I will also adjust where I walk my dogs (or any dog) depending on the weather so, if it is hotter, I will usually walk them near a water source, forest or somewhere with shade. But, if it is cooler, I would more likely go to places like the ridgeway etc… where the sun would be a problem for longer walks. Your dog will most likely get muddy or wet on walks (with the crazy English weather) but, I always use towels to dry/ clean them up

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 11 years old and have experience with dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. Growing up, my family had two cats, and I was responsible for their daily care, feeding and giving them plenty of love and attention. My family dog has always been my baby, and although I have now moved out the family home, I have been heavily involved in his care throughout his life. I regularly fed and walked him, groomed him, clipped his nails, and made sure he was happy, healthy, and well cared for. I’ve also looked after neighbours’ cats and dogs while they were away on holiday and have cared for friends’ dogs, giving me experience with pets of different ages, breeds, and personalities. In addition, I have experience helping care for newborn puppies, including bottle-feeding. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love spending time with them. I understand that every pet is part of the family, and I will care for yours with the same patience, affection, and attention that I give to my own. Me and my fiancé do work full time but I work from home on Mondays and I have a day off every other Friday so can be there all day and provide full attention on Mondays, every other Friday and at the weekends. Unfortunately, in the week I am not at home in the day Tuesday-Thursday/Friday but I am always back home by 5pm or earlier if I am working so if that works for you then amazing! If not, then I will be around all the time Friday-Monday for any weekend bookings. I have a fenced garden and a little cosy one bed house. Pets are welcomed in the bed and on the sofa (or not if you want that boundary upheld!) but I will welcome them like my own. We have a lovely load of fields right by our house which are a beautiful and fun long walk. We do not currently have any pets of our own and this is genuinely just because my family dog is by baby and I would feel like I am betraying him by getting another baby so hopefully we can welcome your fur babies instead to fill that gap in our lives when we don’t have my family dog to stay! :)

About: I love pets and have 6 of my own. I worked for We love Pets for a couple of years and trained in pet first aid. Two dogs one small breed terrier that’s full of energy and absolutely ball crazy. My second dog is a lab already a old girl and the gentle giant in the family. Then there is four cats of different sizes and temperament making up a lot of experience with pets all around. I walk my own dogs for an hour at 6am and then again in the evening. I have time every afternoon to walk as my pups get too tired having two walks a day already. I enjoy walks in parks and high energy playful dogs as well. Especially if it includes ball throwing. While I care for your furry pal, give them comfort and make them feel relaxed, content and exercised, you can go on holiday safe in the knowledge they will be looked after. IMPORTANT NOTES: New clients: I only accept house-sitting bookings for 7+ I can walk your pals, but need a regular booking not just a one-off 1 or 2 day house-sitting bookings are not possible. I need to justify the mileage to your home and back. Included in the daily fee (which works out to be £1.66/hour over a 24hour period), I will take your dog for a daily walk. They must be 'good on the lead' - i.e. no pulling (as I'm an older lady and my wrists hurt!). DOG WALKING AND DROP-IN REQUESTS I do take dogs for walks and do drop-ins, the house/pet sitting takes priority. If I'm unavailable for walking, it may be that I'm already booked for a house/pet sit. YOUR HOME I will keep your house secure and tidy, and will leave it as I entered it. I will wash and clean anything I have used and replace any food I may have eaten, although as a general rule, I order a box from a home delivery service for the time I'm with you. All I need is: - a shelf in your fridge - a small space in your freezer - somewhere to write/read I will not take any food from your fridge or cupboards, however, if an emergency happens, I will replace anything that I take. SPECIAL NOTE: Please do not expect: Dog /pup training - although I do play with your dog! Housecleaning or ironing service - although I will keep your home tidy/clean. I will bring real meat (dried) treats and toys with me, so if there's anything your pet doesn't need/want or desire, please let me know. I only bring authentic, real meat (dried) treats and biscuits - NOT smackos, bonios or raw hide. I have created a YouTube channel, Guardian4Dogs, and upload my own videos of my stay with your pals. Will upload without personal details, my experiences with house and pet sitting: Please note your booking with me begins at 11am and ends at 11am. If you would like me to end 2hours or more later than 11am on the final day, there will be a percentage charge that reflects the additional hours. I do not offer services from my own home-sitting facilities. Your pet is in trustworthy hands and their care is important to me. For this reason, please leave me: - a schedule of your dog's day (time they wake up and go to bed). - a list of things your pet needs, vets details and a neighbour's details. - a list of words that your pet knows, so that I can communicate best with them. - a list of foods that your pet does and does NOT eat, so that their stomach isn't upset by new foods or treats.
About: I have been a dog owner since my early childhood. I have experience looking after puppies as well as senior dogs. I currently have a very energetic dog that requires lots of walks. She is very friendly and misses a lot her companion, our dachshund that passed away last year. I am in full time employment, however I work from home twice a week, Mondays and Fridays. I am also available for dog walks and pet sitting most weekends. I can house and pet sit or do drop in visits as and when needed provided it is within a driving distance and detailed instructions are provided with regards to pet care if your pet has custom requirements.

About: I’m a huge animal lover and since the age of 4, I have always had one or more dogs in the house. I have experience in training my own dogs at home and out on walks. I’m currently at university and also working part time so this would fit perfectly into my spare time and be a great break from my uni work. If you decide you’d like me to stay for a few days then I’d be able to work from home on these days! In my home we have a fenced off garden and a large area for the dog/dogs to run around in. We have lots of walking routes and fields local but I’m also happy to take the dogs to different locations out of the area too!
About: I have had and loved dogs for all my life. From having just finished my rowing scholarship in the USA, I now want to delve into my other passions which is working with animals and animal care. My family has had purebreds from Rhodesian Ridgeback’s, Labradors, West Highland Terriers to rescues (that obviously are a whole range of breeds). We currently have two Romanian rescue dogs, Tora and Finn. They were both one year old when we got them and both had traumatic pasts. It has taken around a year for both of them to feel more settled and comfortable doing most things like even getting into a car. Thus, I have experience with dogs who have had a rough beginning. I am an active person and love going on hikes, jogs and camping trips with them. My favorite thing is to see any dog running around, tails up, happy and knowing I’m giving them a fun, adventure filled life that they deserve. I am available at the weekdays and weekends for walking, dog sitting and drop in visits. I am able to do longer hikes or jogs with your dogs too (if they are younger or high energy). If you leave them with me, they will have a great time, get some treats and will most likely come back to you tired and ready for a nap. I usually travel with my dogs in my dog seat cover / basket on my backseats. I will usually give my dogs treats occasionally throughout the day and probably yours too as well as making sure their water bowl is full. I will always chill with my dog too and play with them when they start getting their energy back. When I hike/ jog with my dogs, it will always be in a safe area and I usually try out new/different trails where I use an extender lead or let them off to explore (but, will obviously do whatever you would feel comfortable with in terms of on/off a lead). I will also adjust where I walk my dogs (or any dog) depending on the weather so, if it is hotter, I will usually walk them near a water source, forest or somewhere with shade. But, if it is cooler, I would more likely go to places like the ridgeway etc… where the sun would be a problem for longer walks. Your dog will most likely get muddy or wet on walks (with the crazy English weather) but, I always use towels to dry/ clean them up
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. I understand and enjoy their little quirks and personalities. Play with them is the highlight of pet sitting I work from home with flexible schedule so I am happy and available to pop out for a walk any time day or evening :) I can take care of the dog in your house or bring them to mine where I am surrounded by lovely green fields where play and run

About: I've had dogs as a child as part of the family and known how important they are to their owner. More recently I have cats (3) and whilst living in Jordan I fostered several cats and found them homes. I'm used to large dogs, elderly dogs and excited puppies and thoroughly enjoy walking them and keeping them company. If you need someone to pop in and check on your furfamily during the day whilst you're away, stay the night or walk them I can help. I'm a teacher so have half terms free for when you may sant to get away. I don't have children so not dictated by this factor either. I'm not offering board at my home. However I will follow whatever instructions you leave since it will be different for each furfamily. Happy to clear litter trays, play with your pets for mental stimulation or take for walks.
About: I’ve been looking after my sisters cockapoo and my friends cockapoo and English bull terrier - either dropping in to feed and let them out or overnight stays when they’ve been away. I love looking after dogs and enjoy going on walks no matter how long. My prices outside of rover are: £35 a day, £40 a night and £14 a walk. So happy to sort payments outside of rover so it’s not as expensive. I am currently working part time so will have a lot of time to play and walk on my days off and even walk dogs before and after my shifts 🙂 I will ensure your pet is fed, walked and entertained as per instructions. Will only take on 1 pet at a time for overnight stays so they can have my full attention and love unless they are from the same household then I am happy with more than 1

About: I’ve had dogs my whole adult life and wouldn’t know what life is like without them. I have an aging Beagle called Poppy who still enjoys long walks and longer naps. I’ve recently retired and now look forward to spending time with more fur babies, giving them the love and attention they need so you can enjoy your holiday I’m a retired active woman with nothing but time on my hands and a gorgeous beagle. “I think starting from the end is the best way to describe Iggy’s experience at Roisin’s: he didn’t want to come back home with me! That’s how good his visit was. From the start, Roisin and Alex were super responsive, warm, and honestly so reassuring that I began thinking I wanted to stay at their place too. And then there’s Wilbur, their fabulous dog, who is now officially Iggy’s new best friend. Iggy basically forgot I existed the moment they started playing. The whole family is so chilled and loving that it felt like dropping Iggy off with close friends. And the photo updates... oh my gosh! I was getting so many adorable pictures that I started worrying they weren’t getting any work done because they were too busy making sure my little prince was living his best life. Every update showed him happy, safe, relaxed, and having the time of his life. I genuinely felt emotional seeing how loved he was. Iggy's stay wasn’t just ‘good’, it was the dog equivalent of a luxury spa weekend with a new best mate included. I am beyond grateful, and if Iggy could type, he’d be giving Roisin 10/10 stars himself (and asking when he’s going back). I’d rebook with Roisin in a heartbeat.”

He requested any particular care/routine details from the start, which put me at ease. He was very flexible with drop off and pick up times, which made my life much easier with my work commitments. Barnes came back back exhausted and went straight bed due to a long walk, playtime and a 6mile run! A very content happy dog.
