“Emmanuel and Jo took our 1 yr old puppy for 4 nights boarding at short notice and we are very grateful to them for looking after him so well! He's a very active dog and they took him out several times a day for walks and runs, kept him busy and occupied with new experiences. They kept us informed every day with photos letting us know what they'd been doing and made sure our dog felt comfortable at all times. Communication was great and we'd love to have them sit again if our dog wasn't too much for them! Thank you both 🙏”

She paid attention to other details in the home and was kind enough to check other things not related to the cats were in order. She went above and beyond and we were very happy. We will definitely look to ask Jenna to look after our cats again in future, if she’s willing!”

About: I have had and loved dogs for all my life. From having just finished my rowing scholarship in the USA, I now want to delve into my other passions which is working with animals and animal care. My family has had purebreds from Rhodesian Ridgeback’s, Labradors, West Highland Terriers to rescues (that obviously are a whole range of breeds). We currently have two Romanian rescue dogs, Tora and Finn. They were both one year old when we got them and both had traumatic pasts. It has taken around a year for both of them to feel more settled and comfortable doing most things like even getting into a car. Thus, I have experience with dogs who have had a rough beginning. I am an active person and love going on hikes, jogs and camping trips with them. My favorite thing is to see any dog running around, tails up, happy and knowing I’m giving them a fun, adventure filled life that they deserve. I am available at the weekdays and weekends for walking, dog sitting and drop in visits. I am able to do longer hikes or jogs with your dogs too (if they are younger or high energy). If you leave them with me, they will have a great time, get some treats and will most likely come back to you tired and ready for a nap. I usually travel with my dogs in my dog seat cover / basket on my backseats. I will usually give my dogs treats occasionally throughout the day and probably yours too as well as making sure their water bowl is full. I will always chill with my dog too and play with them when they start getting their energy back. When I hike/ jog with my dogs, it will always be in a safe area and I usually try out new/different trails where I use an extender lead or let them off to explore (but, will obviously do whatever you would feel comfortable with in terms of on/off a lead). I will also adjust where I walk my dogs (or any dog) depending on the weather so, if it is hotter, I will usually walk them near a water source, forest or somewhere with shade. But, if it is cooler, I would more likely go to places like the ridgeway etc… where the sun would be a problem for longer walks. Your dog will most likely get muddy or wet on walks (with the crazy English weather) but, I always use towels to dry/ clean them up

About: I have two cats, a tuxedo called Archiebold (9 years old) and a black cat called George (5 years old). They are both treated like little kings. Used to dealing with animals with prescription and lifestyle requirements, happy to discuss your pets individualities and adhere to their schedules where possible. I work from home so can be there for them when needed.

About: My family has always had cats with lovely temperaments and unique behaviours. Living away from family, friends and our pets means I have a lot of free time and cravings for pet cuddles.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. I understand and enjoy their little quirks and personalities. Play with them is the highlight of pet sitting I work from home with flexible schedule so I am happy and available to pop out for a walk any time day or evening :) I can take care of the dog in your house or bring them to mine where I am surrounded by lovely green fields where play and run

About: I believe what sets me apart is the level of care, attention, and understanding I bring to every pet I look after. As a teacher, I’m naturally patient, reliable, and highly organised, which means you can trust that your pet will be safe, well cared for, and given plenty of attention. I have experience working with a range of needs, including young pets who require consistency, basic training, and lots of energy, as well as older pets who may need a gentler approach, medication, or extra comfort and reassurance. I’m confident reinforcing routines, supporting basic training (such as lead walking or simple commands), and adapting my care to suit each individual animal. I also understand how important communication is, so I make sure to keep owners updated with regular messages and photos for peace of mind. Above all, I genuinely love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own—making sure they feel happy, secure, and cared for while you’re away.

About: Hi all! I'm looking forward to taking care of your cats and giving them lots of attention and care - I have 2 pet cats myself and will treat yours like my own. I have experience with cats with behavioural issues or medical conditions so rest assured I am equipped to take care of your pet in any way you need me to. I am more than happy to send regular updates, just let me know. Any questions, just ask.

“Wanda spent a great day with Lisa. My Wanda had a treatment on her paws and Lisa applied it without problem. She spent a great day resting and exploring the garden. Very happy with the service, I definitely recommend daycare with Lisa.”

About: Dog obsessed and experienced with dogs of all temperaments. I’ve been walking dogs for over 16 years for clients, friends, and family, as well as volunteering at a dog rescue where I worked and trained with shy and reactive dogs. I’ve also owned a Romanian rescue dog for the past 5 years, which has given me hands-on experience and training in handling reactivity, building trust, and creating calm, positive walks tailored to each dog’s needs. I'm currently working from home so my schedule is very flexible and can walk your dog whenever suits you and your furry friend. I am available Mon-Fri and most weekends. I have a fully fenced secure garden and live close to lots of lovely areas to walk and play. Love to go for long walks and go for some adventures!
“Monika is very welcoming and took good care of Mochi. This is Mochi’s first day care experience. Monika communicated with me throughout the day to update his situation so that I can have peace of mind. I will definitely book again with Monika.”

“This was our first time using Rover and we couldn’t be happier! From the initial meet and greet it was clear that Roisin and Alex were dog lovers and their puppy is lovely too! Throughout the day of day care we were kept well informed of how our dog, Leia, was and with lots of photos of her receiving cuddles and looking right at home! It’s so comforting to know she’s being cared for like a home away from home and we won’t hesitate to have her stay with them again in the future ☺️”

“Another happy stay with Ziyi. We got in touch rather last minute after some plans changed for us. Saffron was very happy to be dropped off and by the looks of the photos sent through, had a great time while there. Thanks again”

“We felt Mickey was in very safe hands with Dominique. She was quick to communicate, friendly and professional. Dominique clearly loved and understood dogs' needs. Very happy to book again.”

“Megan and Craig are absolutely lovely. We had a meet and greet with them first, with our puppy. They’re really enthusiastic, relaxed and clearly love dogs, even boisterous puppies like ours! So we felt confident in them immediately. This was our puppy, Crumpet’s, first time of being left for the day without one of us, and Megan was really understanding and supported/looked after Crumpet really well and Crumpet seemed very happy at Megan’s house. We’ll definitely be booking Megan and Craig again.”

“My dog Vinnie was always happy to go to Maria. She sent lots of pictures and videos showing Vinnie have a great time. He returned daily happy and tired. Could not ask for more than that. I never had any cause for concern about his wellbeing. I will use Maria again.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 11 years old and have experience with dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. Growing up, my family had two cats, and I was responsible for their daily care, feeding and giving them plenty of love and attention. My family dog has always been my baby, and although I have now moved out the family home, I have been heavily involved in his care throughout his life. I regularly fed and walked him, groomed him, clipped his nails, and made sure he was happy, healthy, and well cared for. I’ve also looked after neighbours’ cats and dogs while they were away on holiday and have cared for friends’ dogs, giving me experience with pets of different ages, breeds, and personalities. In addition, I have experience helping care for newborn puppies, including bottle-feeding. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love spending time with them. I understand that every pet is part of the family, and I will care for yours with the same patience, affection, and attention that I give to my own. Me and my fiancé do work full time but I work from home on Mondays and I have a day off every other Friday so can be there all day and provide full attention on Mondays, every other Friday and at the weekends. Unfortunately, in the week I am not at home in the day Tuesday-Thursday/Friday but I am always back home by 5pm or earlier if I am working so if that works for you then amazing! If not, then I will be around all the time Friday-Monday for any weekend bookings. I have a fenced garden and a little cosy one bed house. Pets are welcomed in the bed and on the sofa (or not if you want that boundary upheld!) but I will welcome them like my own. We have a lovely load of fields right by our house which are a beautiful and fun long walk. We do not currently have any pets of our own and this is genuinely just because my family dog is by baby and I would feel like I am betraying him by getting another baby so hopefully we can welcome your fur babies instead to fill that gap in our lives when we don’t have my family dog to stay! :)
“I am so glad to have found Emily and Ed to look after Ghillie two days a week. Emily took the time to understand Ghillie’s needs and story, which put me at ease. I experience them both as kind and caring; communication is smooth and easy. Highly recommend ☺️”

“Orla had a great time with Junior and Fabiana! She enjoyed her nice long walks, gets along really well with Blu and comes home a very happy girl every time. They’ve also been really flexible even with last minute requests, highly recommend 😊”

“Gemma took wonderful care of our cocker spaniel while we were away for six days. She had a fantastic time with Gemma and her family, and especially enjoyed playing with their dogs. She was taken on regular trips to the park, where she could run off-lead and play freely. Gemma also sent regular photos and updates, which kept us reassured and informed throughout. It was clear she treated our dog as if she were one of her own. I would highly recommend Gemma to anyone considering her for doggy daycare or boarding.”

About: I love pets and have 6 of my own. I worked for We love Pets for a couple of years and trained in pet first aid. Two dogs one small breed terrier that’s full of energy and absolutely ball crazy. My second dog is a lab already a old girl and the gentle giant in the family. Then there is four cats of different sizes and temperament making up a lot of experience with pets all around. I walk my own dogs for an hour at 6am and then again in the evening. I have time every afternoon to walk as my pups get too tired having two walks a day already. I enjoy walks in parks and high energy playful dogs as well. Especially if it includes ball throwing. If your fur baby has any quirks or specific requirements then just let me know in advance. I currently work with pets full time and have a great relationship with my customers. I can do walks every day depending on my schedule. I have a fenced in garden and lovely walks near my home. Also a large crate available for dogs that nap better in a crate.
“I couldn’t be happier with the care Rollo received! This was his first play date with Biscuit, and he settled in so quickly thanks to her kindness and patience. She treated Rollo as if he were her own, and it was clear he felt happy, safe, and completely at ease. I’m so grateful for the wonderful experience and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and attentive dog minder.”

“Nadia has been walking Kobi for about month She has been really patient and understanding with all our needs. As a rescue Kobi comes with some sensitivities and reactions. Nadia has been kind and gentle with him. She is quick to respond to messages and reliable. She has helped us out at short notice and has a good understanding of dog behaviour and is willing to accommodate Kobis needs which is a lovely quality that we really appreciate. Kobis much more than 'just a dog' to us and she's been sensitive reassuring and non judgemental . Thankyou Nadia. So glad we found you”

“I don’t understand why she marks everywhere outside, would have thought it’d stop after she was spayed but got worse. She’s not her full self at the minute but we are giving her leg another week on different painkillers and reviewing next Monday. Thanks Cluny!”

About: I live in Abingdon with my husband and our two children, and we share our home with our adorable dog, Coco. She is well socialised and loves meeting and playing with new friends. As a family, we enjoy getting out for walks both locally and in the nearby countryside. We are a dog-loving household, and I would be a caring and responsible sitter for your lovable pooch. I am a teacher so available half terms and holidays. Please do check in as I usually have longer holidays than state schools. Our days consists of outside time in our garden and at least 2 walks. Lots of cuddle time in-between, of course. We have a fenced garden which is very secure. I aim to keep to your dog’s feeding and walking routine with lots of love and attention given.
About: Hello, You can be assured your furry friend will be looked after very well. I've grown up with lots of furry friends and have always been surrounded by dogs, cats, fish, chickens, ducks, geese and a whole host of furry pals. They are beautiful animals with souls of their own and I try to understand their 'silent' communication with us. While I care for your furry pal, give them comfort and make them feel relaxed, content and exercised, you can go on holiday safe in the knowledge they will be looked after. IMPORTANT NOTES: New clients: I only accept house-sitting bookings for 7+ I can walk your pals, but need a regular booking not just a one-off 1 or 2 day house-sitting bookings are not possible. I need to justify the mileage to your home and back. Included in the daily fee (which works out to be £1.66/hour over a 24hour period), I will take your dog for a daily walk. They must be 'good on the lead' - i.e. no pulling (as I'm an older lady and my wrists hurt!). DOG WALKING AND DROP-IN REQUESTS I do take dogs for walks and do drop-ins, the house/pet sitting takes priority. If I'm unavailable for walking, it may be that I'm already booked for a house/pet sit. YOUR HOME I will keep your house secure and tidy, and will leave it as I entered it. I will wash and clean anything I have used and replace any food I may have eaten, although as a general rule, I order a box from a home delivery service for the time I'm with you. All I need is: - a shelf in your fridge - a small space in your freezer - somewhere to write/read I will not take any food from your fridge or cupboards, however, if an emergency happens, I will replace anything that I take. SPECIAL NOTE: Please do not expect: Dog /pup training - although I do play with your dog! Housecleaning or ironing service - although I will keep your home tidy/clean. I will bring real meat (dried) treats and toys with me, so if there's anything your pet doesn't need/want or desire, please let me know. I only bring authentic, real meat (dried) treats and biscuits - NOT smackos, bonios or raw hide. I have created a YouTube channel, Guardian4Dogs, and upload my own videos of my stay with your pals. Will upload without personal details, my experiences with house and pet sitting: Please note your booking with me begins at 11am and ends at 11am. If you would like me to end 2hours or more later than 11am on the final day, there will be a percentage charge that reflects the additional hours. I do not offer services from my own home-sitting facilities. Your pet is in trustworthy hands and their care is important to me. For this reason, please leave me: - a schedule of your dog's day (time they wake up and go to bed). - a list of things your pet needs, vets details and a neighbour's details. - a list of words that your pet knows, so that I can communicate best with them. - a list of foods that your pet does and does NOT eat, so that their stomach isn't upset by new foods or treats.

“Clare has been amazing with Jolene who is a rescue and can be a little unsure of people at first. She has really come out of her shell on her walks with Clare! Thank you 😊”
About: I’m a huge animal lover and since the age of 4, I have always had one or more dogs in the house. I have experience in training my own dogs at home and out on walks. I’m currently at university and also working part time so this would fit perfectly into my spare time and be a great break from my uni work. If you decide you’d like me to stay for a few days then I’d be able to work from home on these days! In my home we have a fenced off garden and a large area for the dog/dogs to run around in. We have lots of walking routes and fields local but I’m also happy to take the dogs to different locations out of the area too!

Your dog will most likely get muddy or wet on walks (with the crazy English weather) but, I always use towels to dry/ clean them up
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teenager.
“A really fabulous experience and I cannot thank Alina enough for looking after our dog so well; Holly absolutely loved her walks and was taken such good care of, we felt so happy that she was in such great hands. Communication also excellent, thank you!”

About: I’ve always been a dog person: I grew up with terriers and later rescued a collie, so I’m used to everything from cheeky, high‑energy pups to clever working breeds who need plenty of stimulation. I love long walks, playing games, and giving dogs the attention they deserve. Whether your dog needs a fun adventure or a gentle, confidence‑building stroll, I’m here to make sure they have a great time. I have a tiny cat called pepper, and greatly appreciate my wonderful friends that visit her when I am travelling. I am keen to give back and ensure that pet lovers can enjoy their travels, in the confidence that their furry friend is taken care of. I am currently exploring new roles following a recent redundancy. I am available any day or time, but would be particularly thrilled to have some furry company during the day on weekdays. I always offer a meet and greet, to ensure I have all the necessary information, and that you are comfortable leaving your pet in my care.
“Cora has been wonderful with our boisterous young German Shepherd. She is communicative, clearly loves animals, and makes his walks interesting and engaging. Highly recommend!”

About: I have my own dog. I understand dogs' need. I will make sure your dog will receive the care and attention that he or she deserves. I'm currently working part-time, so l'll have two hours to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends, and weekdavs after 17:30. Thanks I have a fenced garden plus I live next to Victoria Park. I have a car so I can easily transport your dog if necessary.
About: I've had dogs as a child as part of the family and known how important they are to their owner. More recently I have cats (3) and whilst living in Jordan I fostered several cats and found them homes. I'm used to large dogs, elderly dogs and excited puppies and thoroughly enjoy walking them and keeping them company. If you need someone to pop in and check on your furfamily during the day whilst you're away, stay the night or walk them I can help. I'm a teacher so have half terms free for when you may sant to get away. I don't have children so not dictated by this factor either. I'm not offering board at my home. However I will follow whatever instructions you leave since it will be different for each furfamily. Happy to clear litter trays, play with your pets for mental stimulation or take for walks.

About: I’ve been looking after my sisters cockapoo and my friends cockapoo and English bull terrier - either dropping in to feed and let them out or overnight stays when they’ve been away. I love looking after dogs and enjoy going on walks no matter how long. My prices outside of rover are: £35 a day, £40 a night and £14 a walk. So happy to sort payments outside of rover so it’s not as expensive. I am currently working part time so will have a lot of time to play and walk on my days off and even walk dogs before and after my shifts 🙂 I will ensure your pet is fed, walked and entertained as per instructions. Will only take on 1 pet at a time for overnight stays so they can have my full attention and love unless they are from the same household then I am happy with more than 1
“Alice went above and beyond for all of my dogs walks. Taking into consideration all her needs, and making sure she was comfortable and happy. I will 100% recommend her services and will be rebooking again soon.”

About: I've grown up with cats and dogs at home and I've taken care of pets for friends and family over the years. I love being around them, caring for them and giving them love. I have a miniature daschund myself and he's the sweetest boy. I'd have more pets in a heartbeat if I could. I'd love to take care of your furbabies. It would be my pleasure. I work full time Mon-Fri but there's a lot of flexibility with my job. I can pop out and pop in as needed so caring for your pet is no problem at all. I will follow all your instructions when caring for your pet in your home. You will have daily updates (if preferred) so you can rest assured that all is well with your pets throughout my time with them.

“Clare and her husband were wonderful with our old dog, not familiar with anywhere other than home. I really appreciated their flexibility, taking him at the last minute, and letting me know how he was getting on. I’m extremely grateful”

“Brody clearly had a great time with Lisa. We got some lovely updates to see how he was getting on. He’s very much looking forward to returning and we’re glad we have found someone we feel very happy leaving him with 🥰”

“Jing and Eugene came across as very professional and experienced, and we were confident that they would give Lyra excellent care, in view of her disability. Everything went fine- thank you Jing and Eugene!”
“Can massively recommend Sophie and Ash! Our dog Poppy had a brilliant time, was really well looked after and came back worn out (in a good way!). Sophie was fantastic at keeping in touch and sending regular updates and photos which we really appreciated.”

I’ve recently retired and now look forward to spending time with more fur babies, giving them the love and attention they need so you can enjoy your holiday I’m a retired active woman with nothing but time on my hands and a gorgeous beagle. We walk twice a day right from the house as I’m fortunate enough to have lots of lovely walks right on my doorstep. My garden is completely enclosed and safe. My home is comfortable and dogs are welcome on the sofa for cuddles. I have a large crate available if the dog wants to use it.
“Sofia was fantastic with Stitch! Sofia sent lots of cute pictures and kept me updated throughout the day. Stitch looked so happy in the pictures and on his walk. Stitch came home very tired which is a good sign. I could tell Stitch had a great time, thank you so much!”

“Claire is very friendly and accommodating. From the 1st contact is has been a smooth and clear process. Neo enjoyed his stay at her place. She has updated me regularly with his food and activities. Will definitely book again with her in future. Thank you so much for looking after Neo. X”

“Fantastic stay! Joe has been fantastic from first contact. Really easy contact amd arrangements. Joe has been so accommodating and my dog, Pinkman, clearly loves staying there! Joe sent lovely photos and videos of our dog very happy in his stay, playing and snoozing like a home from home.”

“Leo really had the best time with Amanda and Jeremy and Bailey the sweetest spaniel. They took the time to make sure Leo would be comfortable with them and Bailey and It really felt like nothing was too much trouble. We got lots of photos during his stay. Now when my husband walks past their house Leo literally tries to drag him in. We would 1000% recommend them.”

“Olivia and Harry had my two dogs while we were away on holiday for 5 nights. My two dogs had the best time playing with Olivia, Harry and their two labradors and were treated as one of the family. They were taken on some wonderful walks and had lots of cuddles at home. They sent lots of photos and videos while I was away, so I knew they were having the best time, and I didn’t worry one bit while I was away (which is a big thing for me to say as I’m such a worrier). I couldn’t have asked for a better place to send my boys and have already been recommending Olivia and Harry to friends. Thank you both so much!”

“Our dog, Mickey, clearly had a wonderful time staying with Dominique. He was well looked after and had lots of loving company while we were away. Dominique regularly sent fab photos and snippets of video keeping us at ease. She was very attentive to his needs and asked us all the right questions. We will definitely be rebooking. Mickey will be delighted to go back.”

“Thank you so much Klaudia for taking such great care of Stormy while I was away. It gave me real peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. I really appreciate all the attention, care, and affection you gave him. Thanks again for everything, you've been wonderful, and I'm sure Stormy enjoyed his time with you! He will definitely return when we need to go away again.”

“I would rebook with Vicky with no question! I asked to meet first and make sure my dog and her got on- the request was welcome. During his stay I got plenty of photos reassuring me. Great feedback for Vicky, she took great care of Rocky and would recommend.”

“We dropped Saffron off mid afternoon, she stayed the night and then we picked her up mid afternoon the next day. We had lots of lovely photos from Ziyi and Saffron really seemed to enjoy her stay.”

“I think starting from the end is the best way to describe Iggy’s experience at Roisin’s: he didn’t want to come back home with me! That’s how good his visit was. From the start, Roisin and Alex were super responsive, warm, and honestly so reassuring that I began thinking I wanted to stay at their place too. And then there’s Wilbur, their fabulous dog, who is now officially Iggy’s new best friend. Iggy basically forgot I existed the moment they started playing. The whole family is so chilled and loving that it felt like dropping Iggy off with close friends. And the photo updates... oh my gosh! I was getting so many adorable pictures that I started worrying they weren’t getting any work done because they were too busy making sure my little prince was living his best life. Every update showed him happy, safe, relaxed, and having the time of his life. I genuinely felt emotional seeing how loved he was. Iggy's stay wasn’t just ‘good’, it was the dog equivalent of a luxury spa weekend with a new best mate included. I am beyond grateful, and if Iggy could type, he’d be giving Roisin 10/10 stars himself (and asking when he’s going back). I’d rebook with Roisin in a heartbeat.”

“Silma was fantastic! She communicated clearly from start to finish – welcoming me and showing me around her home, and keeping me updated throughout the day. She was proactive, attentive, and took wonderful care of my little girl, who I found relaxed and happy when I picked her up. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. Thank you, Silma!”

“Absolutely fantastic! I couldn’t fault Jon at all. His communication was terrific and he was very attentive towards Barnes. He requested any particular care/routine details from the start, which put me at ease. He was very flexible with drop off and pick up times, which made my life much easier with my work commitments. Barnes came back back exhausted and went straight bed due to a long walk, playtime and a 6mile run! A very content happy dog. I will certainly be using Jon again in the future without any hesitation.”

“Laura is friendly and kind. She communicates very well and was able to manage our somewhat anxious dog. We were really pleased at how she handled it and we believe that our dog was better for it. Lastly I would comment that her family dog, Lua, got along well with our dog. I think they had fun together.”
