“Sophie took excellent care of our cat Lilly. We have had issues with pet sitters in the past and I was nervous of leaving Lilly again. Sophie definitely put my mind at ease. She came for a visit beforehand to meet her and asked lots of questions to find out all of her needs. It was so lovely to meet her and she was very knowledgeable on pet care. Sophie was also very considerate of my autistic daughter who wanted her to send pictures and videos so she wouldn't worry. Sophie was more than happy to do this and my daughter was over the moon. We could see by these updates that Lilly was relaxed and well looked after. On our return, Lilly was of course, happy to see us but once she had a bit of fuss, it was clear she was content and had no stress at all. Sophie left everything exactly as it was and even did the little bit of washing up that I hadn't managed to do before leaving as well as emptying the dishwasher. It was such a relief to know that Lilly was in good hands! I got to enjoy my holiday knowing my fur baby was safe and cared for. I would definitely recommend Sophie to look after your pets and absolutely will book her in the future (if she's available of course 😀). Thank you Sophie 😊”

About: I have had a cat for the past 4 years, her name is Pippa and she is absolutely gorgeous. I adore taking care of her because she is so gentle, sweet and cuddly. I am between jobs at the moment, so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to spend time with more cats I am between jobs at the moment, so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to spend time with more cats as I love them! I can care for your cat by feeding it, changing their water and their litter tray. Alongside this I would happily play with it or sit by it to keep it company.

About: I've spend all my life with animals and I can't imagine life without them. I own 9 year old chocolate lab, 11 and 2 year old cat. We are one big happy family. I'm working part-time from home, so I'm always in and living in a bungalow allows we to sit in the garden and work being surrounded by my own pets. My bungalow is secure with fence and garden is decided into 3 levels. Plenty space in quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, no busy roads and options for long beautiful walks nearby.

About: Experience with my previous dog, a Jack Russell (Pippin) and my current dog, a Collie X Kelpie (Murphy). I also have experience with many other breeds. We often interact with foster dogs/puppies as Murphy is a very social dog. So we get to experience many different breeds and their qualities. I have a passion for caring and looking after animals. Dogs are just amazing creatures! I am committed to providing excellent service and ensuring any animals in my care are well looked after. I am looking for regular walks and visits alongside one-off services. I usually work between the hours of 9am - 2pm although I can be flexible. I can offer drop-in services for any animal, big or small. I'm not currently offering pet care services in my own home. I have a young daughter and a dog of my own, and although they are both friendly with other animals it simply wouldn't be fair to bring another animal home.

About: Hello, we are Chris and Claudia, Having had our own dogs all of our lives, we currently have a cat, bearded dragon, two axolotls and tropical fish. Our most recent dog was put to sleep not that long ago and the time isn't right for another set of paws full time for us but still have a lot of animal love to give! As well as the animals we have 5 kids who are all animal lovers. As such we have a large house with dedicated dog sofa and a large garden for exploring/sniffing. Both of us are good at reading dogs and reacting to their needs. If they want to be left alone to chill on the sofa, no worries. If they want to have a play or tummy rubs, bring it on! We also have experience of emotionally challenged rescue dogs and the different approaches they need, plus specific dietary requirements and food allergies too. Through a combination of working from home and being part time, we are around on weekends and most days of the week. We are able to supply tailored pet sitting needs if required. We have got a big secure garden out the back that is a dogs paradise. The resident cat is an indoor cat only so the garden is a dog and kids only zone as well as a few wild birds and slow worms

About: I provide an exceptionally high service. When your animal is in my care they are my number one priority and my life revolves around their needs. I am qualified with experience and a criminal baring check viewable online for your peace of mind. Your pet can use my home like it’s their own, they are free to be on sofas, beds and have access to the garden whenever they wish. Your pet will be given high quality treats on their stay and be taken to pet shops for new toys and out on trips to the beach and the woods, if you're happy to do so. As a rule I never let dogs off leads, unless we are in the secure dog field or my garden. I will never be the person to call you informing of a lost pet. I am sensitive to budgets, please get in touch. Daily updates and photos are provided alongside my personal contact number for reassurance. I can guarantee a calm and joyful stay for your pet and offer single family boarding if required. I’ve worked within the animal care industry for the past 7 years. I’m dedicated to the welfare of your loved one. I’m competent with separation anxiety, medication administration and reactive behaviour. Kindness is guaranteed. Please consider your pets anxiety within this environment: it is a home with other pets and although toilet training with puppy’s is welcomed and I encourage owners to not worry about accidents. However, please be mindful of my home; if your pet continually scent marks. I always recommend a meet and greet to see if your pet will settle within the home. Consider bookings for day care prior to boarding to relieve stress for highly anxious pets. - I must stress this isn’t always necessary. I offer a regular services and a friendly, easy going kind, approach. I am in Torquay for a few hours a week (when I don't have boarders) - making my area coverage for dog walking and drop ins quite broad. That being said, I have regular boarders here with me at home and can offer 24hr constant care for your pet. I will modify payments to ensure school holiday boarding is kept to an affordable rate. Weekends are also available all year round for various services. Please do get in touch with me as I can offer adaptability when possible. I can assure you, your pet is my priority. Cats can stay within their very own catio environment inside my home. Similarly day care dogs have access to the garden the majority of the day and have ample space, socialising with others; or not. I try to ensure their routines stay as familiar as possible. I will try and integrate my own animals whenever that is wanted or possible. I'm compassionate towards your animal, reading their body language to ensure there given the space and interaction they require. My home is clean, plenty of opportunity to eat and drink with access to a secure garden. I have crates and a puppy pen when necessary. Crate trained animals is always helpful when boarding but not essential.

About: If you know a Vizsla you will know how much they need love and attention! CoCo can usually be found under her duvet! We lost our rescue dog Willow (we think she was over 16 years old) last year she was very hard of hearing and had bad arthritis! But lived out her former years being with the run of the house (something she never had before!) I am home everyday other than Tue and Wed so have plenty of time to care and love your treasured dog. I am at home Our home is very dog friendly with a secure back garden with sun and shade. Our local vet is 2 mins away. We have a dog sofa and dog bed too. CoCo our dog is raw fed so we are happy to accommodate raw feeding.

About: I've cared for many different pets and homes over the world, including ex street dogs and some very shy misunderstood characters and have had nothing but positive experiences to show for it, making friends both 2 legged and 4 I work mostly remotely in the mental health sector so I can be flexible with my arrangements and I can fit my work in and around walk times, feeding times, cuddle times but also keep your pets company even if I do have a meeting. I never need to work longer than an hour at a time so it's fits perfectly with pet sitting.
