About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, from puppies to reactive rescues. I appreciate that every dog is different and wants a different level of love and attention. I live an active lifestyle so if your dog loves adventures (and doesn’t mind the car) I’d be more than happy to take them along. As I said, I have it on good authority that I’m great at fetch… I have the luxury of a work from home role. This means I can be available for your pet all day. I love a lunchtime/after work walk and to read in the evenings - especially if there’s a pooch to cuddle while I do. I can do home visits before your booking to meet your pet with you so they’re used to me. Additionally this gives us time to tour any off-limit rooms for me and the pets as well as crating them if necessary.

About: I work for an animal charity which trains dogs. This has equipped me with a variety of techniques to help dogs settle into unfamiliar environments. I understand how important it is to let them choose how they want to interact. I work full time so am only able to offer weekend cover. I wouldn't plan to leave any dog alone in a new place no matter how adaptable they are. I don't have any of my own pets as they don't suit my schedule. I have a small, fully secure back garden and live in a fairly quiet cul de sac. I don't use any punishing equipment eg half check collars or pet correcter. But I'm happy to chat about dogs who need muzzles (if they're already wearing them).

About: I have always loved animals. I currently have my adorable 3 year old Goldendoodle Nova and 10 year old cat Percy. I am a huge outdoor person who loves going out walking and exploring so there will always be time for your family members to come and join me. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. I currently work full time Mon-Fri but after 5pm I have all the time in the world for your pets for evening drop ins so you can enjoy a night out without any worries. I am also available at weekends, so if you ever have plans for a weekend away I am able to come make sure your fur babies are not alone. At home I have a secured fenced garden with a padlocked side gate. I have Nova who will always be willing to play in the garden or the local fields. In your home I am flexible to work and support your pets in your usual way to avoid any disruption to their day.

About: I train, breed and have fostered guide dogs for a number of years. We love all animals and offer a safe loving and fun environment. I'm at home working as a carer, i also craft from home. Dogs are my life alongside my husband. We have lots of free time to spend with your furbaby. We have a secure fenced garden full of toys and play areas with cctv. Our 2 Labradors love having company. We offer plenty of enrichment for those unbearable hot days where it's not safe to take out for walks due to the heat. I have plenty of time,energy to spend with my own girls who love to spend time with newbie playmates. Ball chucks and long walks are a must in our daily routine. I also hold a Enhanced DBS as I volunteer craft days for the local council and also do Facepainting for children, my calendar fits around these activities.

About: I have been around dogs and cats all my life and am happiest when taking care of them. So much so I have pursued a career as a veterinary nurse! My skills as a nurse mean I am great at understanding your pets' behaviour and can fulfill any medication requirements they may have. I live away from my own pets so I miss spending quality time with animals and I can't wait to meet yours! As well as my experience at work and with my own pack, I have cared for my friend's pets several times. I love going on long walks so if you have an active dog, I would be delighted to take them on some adventures too. I aim to work around you and your pet's schedule as much as possible so please don't hesitate to let me know what you are looking for. However, I do work full time so please be aware I will usually not be able to be with your pet full time on weekdays. I can still do house sits for pets that do not need regular walks/toilet breaks. I am available most weekends and bank holidays and would love to keep your pet company while you enjoy a holiday! I know it can be strange for pets to be away from you so I am dedicated to keeping life as normal and relaxed for them as possible by following their normal routine in their own home. I hope to work with you to follow whatever exercise routine is best for your pup; whether they enjoy high energy exercise or prefer to just have a potter round the garden.

About: My wife and I have cared for pets since we were children. We treat our dogs like human children and take their safety very seriously. We work from home and take long walks in the surrounding countryside. Our 3 dogs (2 senior dachshunds and a 4 year old Belgian shepherd) are very friendly and happy to provide company for other well behaved dogs. We have a fully fenced garden and the option to crate dogs if necessary. Our dogs spend all day inside with us when not being walked. We have experience with dogs of all ages from puppies to seniors and go the extra mile to put anxious dogs at ease. We like to arrange a meet and greet ahead of time and are happy to be flexible. For walks, I have seatbelt clips ready for most harnesses should they need to be taken in the car.

About: I have adored and been around dogs all my life , both mine own and other dogs I've been trusted to look after. I'm experience handling breeds of all sizes and temperaments. From puppies to elderly dogs needing special care, . I have attended dog training and behaviour sessions in order to better understand individual and varieties of dog personalities and there needs. I currently work part time in a shop, but its only one day a week 12-4ish so still plenty of time or visits and walks. Apart from that im a practicing artist and writer working from home, so am available and happy to look after a dog most of the time. My own dog lives in my home so it is a dog-proof and safe place, my dog is a very friendly young spaniel, so if you dog needed to come to my house that would be no problem at all. However i would be inclined to want to look after a dog in its own home to avoid them becoming anxious or overwhelming both dogs. Also having a dog myself means i know some good walking spots and where its safe to let them off leads!

About: I've taken care of pets all my life, worked within kennels and in vets. I now work from home with my 8 year old labrador and 1 year old cockapoo 🐾 I currently work from home full time, I can take regular breaks to let your pet out when needed, take them for walks and give them cuddles. I have a fenced garden with two friendly dogs to keep your pet company, or they can sit with me in my office and keep me company during the working day.

About: I have lots of spare time and am available at short notice for dog walks and pet sitting and drop ins. I will make sure the gate of your garden is shut and the garden is secure so your dog can enjoy the garden without running off.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young, participating in lots of dog shows, pet sitting for family/friends and always loved getting outdoors with any four legged friend. I also work full time for a Premium Fresh Dog Food company and recently completed a Level 3 Award in Canine Nutrition achieving a Higher Distinction Grade. I work from home the majority of the time and in a dog friendly office once a week, so if your dog(s) are social able with other dogs and people I would love to bring them in with me for the day. I also have experience in looking after stray dogs in Asia of different breeds and sizes and love making dogs lives a happier place on earth as they do for us. I am also used to walking a variety of breeds of dogs so would feel comfortable walking your dog during my visit at no extra charge. As for my rates, I charge £35 up to 7 hours and £45 up to 10 hours. Let me know if you require less than 10 hours of sitting and I will adjust the rate for you. Currently at the moment, I’m only doing day sits, drop in visits and dog walking! I do also work full time but my job is hybrid so do have some flexibility! I always check with yourself if there are any rules or safety requirements in your home (enclosed garden). I always stay in contact with you via Rover and send photo updates to ensure you have that trust and reassurance you need.
