“Holly looked after our 2 dogs at the last minute when were let down by our usual dog sitter when we went on holiday. She sent regular updates and walked them twice a day, just as we asked. She also administered metacam to our senior dog through his food. We are so grateful to her for keeping our dogs happy and safe. Thank you! x”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, ducks, chickens, and horses. I’m based in Darlington and cover Teesside and North Yorkshire Area. I’ve done pet and house sitting for a variety of animals, and I always treat them with the same care and love I would my own. I recently graduated from the University of York and am currently taking a break before starting work, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to looking after pets and making sure they feel happy, safe, and well cared for in their own home. I’m fully available at the moment while taking a break after uni, so I can easily fit pet care into my day - whether it’s short-notice bookings, longer house sits, or anything in between. I’m flexible with timing and can adapt to your pet’s usual routine to keep things consistent and stress-free. I only offer pet care in the owner’s home, where pets feel most safe and comfortable in their usual routine. I always follow your instructions closely, keep things clean and secure, and make sure your pet gets plenty of attention and care. I treat every home with respect and keep you updated while you’re away, so you can relax knowing everything’s in good hands.

About: Hi! We’re Emily and Jack, lifelong dog lovers with plenty of hands-on experience. We both grew up with dogs and regularly care for pets belonging to friends, family, and colleagues—whether it’s for a weekend or an extended stay. We live an active lifestyle and love including dogs in everything we do. From daily walks to weekend adventures, your pup will get plenty of exercise and stimulation. We take part in weekly parkruns—perfect for energetic dogs who love to run! If your dog prefers a slower pace, no problem—they can cheer on from the sidelines with me or Emily and enjoy a relaxing walk afterward. When your dog stays with us, they become a true part of our family. Whether it’s cozy movie nights, local outings, or countryside strolls, they’ll be involved in every part of our life. 🎓 Emily’s Qualifications Emily is highly trained in animal care and behaviour, with the following certifications—all awarded with Higher Distinction: Animal Care – Level 3 Animal Behaviour – Level 3 Animal Communication - Level 3 Dog Day Care – Level 3 We’re passionate, knowledgeable, and committed to giving your dog a safe, loving, and fun-filled experience. Emily works part-time at a local special educational needs school, and Jack has the flexibility to work from home two to three days a week. We only take bookings when we will not have to leave your pet alone. Daily walks are part of the routine, with outings scheduled for the morning, afternoon, and evening — giving your pets plenty of exercise, enrichment, and company throughout their stay. Our home is designed with your dog’s safety and comfort in mind. We have a fully fenced garden for secure outdoor play and an open-plan living area that allows us to keep a constant eye on your pup while giving them the freedom to explore and relax. We're a child-free and dog-free household, which means your dog will have a calm, stress-free environment all to themselves—plus their own sofa to snooze on, if they fancy it! As mentioned earlier, your dog will become a loved member of our family during their stay. Whether it’s walks, outings, or quiet evenings at home, they’ll be involved in everything we do. We also tailor our routine to suit your dog’s individual needs, energy levels, and preferences—ensuring they feel right at home.

“Highly recommend Jonny to care for your furry family! My first time leaving Barney and Bessie with anyone other than my family, and I was unnecessarily anxious. They’ve just had a fab 24 hours in his care with all their needs met and more. I’ve come home to two happy, content, and tired out pups.”

About: I have always been around many animals growing up on a farm, My dream would be to have a sanctuary for all animals in need I work from home along with my husband. We spend most of our weekends either on a long walk or on the beach with our 2 daughters and our pooch ralph I live in my own property with a large walled and fenced back garden with a high gate. They would be cared for as I care for my own and that is very spoilt. If they are allowed to sleep in bed or on the sofa then that is the treatment they will get. If they have rules then I will be happy to stick to these rules. They will be walked in a morning with my pooch and then again in the evening (depending on your pets health) and all diety needs will be met

About: I've cared for a variety of pets throughout my life, from dogs and cats to horses and livestock! My aim is for all pets to feel as loved as possible. I work part time from home, as well as helping on the family farm. I have lots of availability for dog walking and pet sitting. Currently only offering house sitting and dog walks while work is being done on my house. However, current clients will have priority for when pet sitting in my own home becomes available. I have a gentle but playful border collie who can join playful pups for walks, or single household walks are available too!

“Linda was absolutely amazing. She looked after all our pets with great care and enthusiasm. We really felt so confident that they were in safe hands which meant we could relax enjoy our holiday. Thanks Linda!!! 👍🐾”

“Chloe bonded with our dogs as soon as she walked in the door and had them cuddled up on the sofa with her in min's. Chloe's communication is excellent and she shared frequent photos of our dogs, to show how much fun they were having. If you're looking for a pet sitter I'd highly recommend Chloe”

About: I've been a dog owner for many years and have cared for others on multiple occasions. Happy to look after any dog from small to large. Dog care is my main event currently although I do also deal in artwork to clients around the world. Happy to travel to any location to give the care your dog needs whilst you are away. I prefer to stay in the dog's normal home to give it the best experience. I'll follow your usual routine and give your pet all the attention it requires and more.

“Cannot thank, or recommend Hannah enough! We have two dogs who have their individual challenges and a cat. Hannah was professional and very good with all three of our crew. Nothing was too much trouble and I received lovely updates of them all having the best time which meant we could enjoy our holiday without worrying! Thank you so much!”

About: I have a unique energetic approach to pet care. (only out calls) Pets naturally love my energy. I have been a teacher for 5 years in total and parents always used to ask me how i was able to get their childs respect and attention in class! I have a unique healing energy that i can make use of at your request. I can interact with your pets history and karmic contracts and relationships, this is an extra service. Pets and children can even pick up owners hidden stresses and strains, they are designed to take on / ground energies and can get overwhelmed. This has health consequences that owners/parents are not aware of, which I will be able to explain. I've looked after houses and pets and children before, mostly for friends, and have an affinity with most animals, however i'm still gaining experience. When i stay in a property that's not my own i do feel uncomfortable enough to have respect for the house and the household items. I would probably leave it cleaner than when i came in. The home energy might be transformed as my energy often harmonises the surroundings as i also work with land and property healing. If you plan on ghosting me at any point without reason - please do not contact me in the first place - good communication and manors is a strict boundary I take seriously. I'm working 3 days a week with a friend in Yorkshire and have the rest of my time free to heal land and pets and people ... which is basically my second income. What better place to meet passionate pet owners where my services can truly come to light. I only do pet sitting and can't offer any accomodation at my house as i'm lodging. however I know how to look after pets and command attention when needed. There should be no problems with knowing who is boss and commanding the space with love.

About: My family got our dog when I was 8, a female Cavoodle who we called Lily. We all house trained her and me and my sister especially, taught her many tricks and vocal cues. Lily completes our family and we couldn’t imagine our lives without her. She is now 12 years old, still living with my Mum & Dad in Australia. Additionally, I have looked after two of my aunts’ dogs. One of them extremely hyperactive & dependent on her owner, and the other special needs & fragile who required medication. I enjoyed looking after them both and they grew closer to me as time went on. I'm an overseas student from Australia & I'll be doing pet sitting during my university break. I only do some remote work so I'll easily spend the majority of my time at the house with the pets. With my dog Lily, me & my Mum have always taken her out on daily walks. If she still seems bored/energetic throughout the day, I definitely have a play with her & her toys. I always make sure her water bowl is filled, I feed her at the same time each day and I check on her frequently to see if she needs to get out to do her business in the back garden.

About: I have taken care of pets of every kind since I was 8. I will be happy to accommodate any special requests and I am also experienced with caring for small and medium dogs and cats. Your pet will have lost of attention, hugs and funs. I currently don't work. I have lots of time to spend your pets and taking them on nice walks. I have got a small fenced garden but am happy to walk the dogs to a nearby park. Please let me know what is your dog or cat typical meal times and bed time routine. And please let me know if your pet has any additional needs....

About: As a devoted pet sitter, my motivation stems from a deep-rooted love for dogs and a genuine enjoyment in caring for animals. My journey into pet sitting began organically as I found myself frequently looking after friends' and family members' dogs, as well as other animals, while they were away on holidays. This experience has not only enriched my life with countless wagging tails and warm nuzzles but has also instilled in me a sense of responsibility and understanding of the trust pet owners place in a sitter. I take pride in providing a service that goes beyond mere supervision. To me, pet sitting is about creating a bond with each animal, ensuring they feel loved, secure, and engaged in the absence of their owners. Whether it's maintaining their daily routines, providing stimulating playtime, or just being a comforting presence, my goal is to ensure that every pet is happy and healthy under my care. My services are tailored to each pet's individual needs, and I am committed to upholding the highest standards of care. With my experience and passion for pet sitting, I am confident in my ability to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for your furry friends. I am presently engaged in a part-time job that allows me the flexibility to work remotely, which means that my schedule is quite adaptable. Consequently, I will have an abundance of time available to devote to the care and attention of your pets, ensuring they receive the best possible care during your absence. I live in a quiet area away from busy roads, surrounded by nature. Our back garden has a fence all around, so it's safe for animals. We've turned a small room in the garden into a cozy space for dogs, with plenty of spots for them to sleep.

About: I have been relied upon by family and friends to take care of their beloved pets for around 10-15 years, whether this includes a drop in to feed and give some much needed attention or taken them out for some exercise I work from home 3 days a week so am available for lunch time walks Tues, Thurs and Fri and available all evenings at your request I will be available to look after your furry friend within your own home and take out for lovely walks where needed . . .

About: My angel dog Hattie was my world and it would make me so happy to care for other dogs in my time off now. I have taken care of the cats and dogs of my neighbours when they are away and it’s worked great for all of us. I love all dogs big and small and can take them on long walks and lots of exercise if they are energetic. I can also keep up any training you are doing with them if wanted or play with toys with them. I have a car and can travel to where you are, and am happy to meet you and go on a joint walk first I work offshore at sea or around the coast on boats. Therefore, I work for a month then get a few weeks off. House and pet sitting works perfectly with my weeks off. Opportunities around York, North York Moors, Liverpool, Peak District and Northumberland are best for me but I am free to travel For house/ pet sitting: I will respect your house and your boundaries and pet care wishes. I love taking photos so can check in with you as much as you want. I don’t currently have a pet or children it will be just me

“I can’t recommend Anna highly enough! They recently looked after my cat and did an absolutely fantastic job — attentive, reliable, and clearly experienced with animals. Whether it’s dogs, rabbits, or anything in between, they’ve got a brilliant way with them. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and genuinely passionate about animal care, Anna is the one!”
