“Emma took great care of our cat Ziggy and we came home to a calm and happy cat. Before our trip, Emma came to meet Ziggy so he felt more comfortable. She not only followed our instructions but also went the extra mile to sweep up litter and take rubbish out. I was glad to see that on some visits our cat got some extra cuddles when Emma’s daughter came along! Thank you again - would definitely recommend! :))”

“Nasima was able to help on short notice with great response times. My cat seemed very well looked after when I returned and the photos posted were great! Will absolutely be using Nasima again.”

“Hannah has been amazing taking care of our two cats. She has made sure they are happy and stayed a while to give them some company and cuddles. Loved receiving the photos, it really helps to see that happy and being so well looked after. Thank you!”

“I am so pleased that we found Tatjana through the Rover group. We have never left Stig with anyone other than family before and we were quite desperate when we realised that none of our family group was available to look after him this time. Then I found Rover and was given several names of people who could possibly help us and we chose Tatyana. What a lovely lady and how kind and helpful she is. Tatyana visited us a couple of times prior to our holiday to get to know our cat a little bit and I felt a real connection with her and Stig took to her and her Daughter straight away. I felt very confident about leaving him to her care. Tatyana provided daily updates and photos of Stig and let us know he was really ok, which we were very grateful for. I totally recommend this lady for any future people needing care for their pets, she is wonderful. Thank you Tatyana dry much. Carol and Brian and of course Stig”

About: We've had dogs in the family since I was a baby. We've had Newfoundlands, Alsatians, Cockerpoos, Staffies and Labs to name a few. I've looked after my own, friends and neighbours pets over the years. Whether whilst on holiday or just popping in to keep them company and make sure they have fresh water and food down whilst they're at work. I did the Duke of Edinburgh award many moons ago but did 3 months at a vets and learnt a lot. I also studied animal management at South downs College, looking after a range of animals and did a 1 month placement on a dairy farm in southwick. So you can trust no matter how big or small your fur baby will be in capable hands. I've generally had all sizes of pets from the types listed above as well as cats, I've also had rodents, horses too. One thing all pets have in common is they love and need some attention so if your furry companion(s) need some TLC whilst you're away. Drop me a message and I'll be happy to help out, however is needed. I work a 35 hour week but on a seasonal contract so my availability is wide open from November to March. I have between 2 and 3 days off a week and can accommodate most times around my shift pattern. So long as my own pooches are sorted out I don't have a private Garden but I have communally shared grounds. Im a stones throw away from Milton common and my two love a walk and a swim. If I am caring for your furry family member at your own home. You can be rest assured I'll treat it with great care. I'll happily sort any accidents and will keep you updated should I find anything troubling to make sure issues can be solved. I regularly come home to torn up letters and the odd toilet roll strewn throughout my flat.

About: I have had dogs in my life from when I was a child right up to recently when we had to say goodbye to our 14.5 year old, Ozzie. I miss having a dog around and would consider it a privilege to care for yours and to get some very much missed doggy love. My husband Phil will accompany on any overnight sits. I’m currently not working after returning from working abroad in France for the past few years so am available at short notice, I also have a car so can easily get to your home. I will look after your pet in your home and respect both and treat them with the utmost care and love. I am happy to follow all instructions that you leave.

“Rhiannon was very accommodating and after an initial meet and greet with our pup, we could see that she was a natural with dogs. Very professional, we knew Herb was in good hands, which was backed up by some nice updates and pictures during her visits. We would highly recommend Rhiannon and will be using her again in the future 😊”

About: I have been around dogs from a very young age. I grew up around three Yorkshire Terriers and in my teens, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and a Tibetan Terrier, until they both passed away. I have also looked after a family member's dog, a French Bulldog, from when she was 6 months old until 3 years old when they moved away. During this time, I was able to teach her many tricks and my family member was always commenting on how much her behaviour was improving at home. I am currently only available at weekends. Please contact me even if it may be last minute and I will do my best to cater to your needs. I have a fully enclosed garden which is 6-foot walled and fenced and a gated front forecourt. All rooms have doors, and your dog will have access to all rooms in the house. For added security, the stairs will have gates on and there is plenty of room if your dog needs crating upon request. There is also plenty of room if a quiet space needs to be created for your dog. Dogs are allowed on the furniture creating a home away from home environment. The owners of the dogs I currently walk have given me keys to access their house so that when their dogs need walking, they do not have to worry about being available to let me in. My partner and son like to help out with the dogs I look after when they are not working or at college and there is more than likely someone always at home so your dog will always have company.

“It’s the second time Rebecca has looked after my boys and I’m very pleased. She sent pictures and updates and was responsive when I called or messaged. Will definitely have her look after them again. :)”

About: I have a German Shepherd and a Chihuahua, so I am experienced in taking care of large and little dogs. I am more than happy to take care of any dog and my own dogs are very friendly. Any questions please feel free to message me. I am currently a university student in Manchester, but I’m in Portsmouth during the holidays where I live with my mum, dad, brother and sister who all love dogs. I am always home and am available any time, there is always someone around and the pets are never left alone. We have a reasonable sized garden, which is completely safe. Our kitchen is open plan so there is lots of space for the dogs to roam around.

About: I grew up with a loving Cocker Spaniel and now share my life with my best friend, a Labrador. I love all dogs and will give your pup the care and attention they deserve! As an ambulance service worker, I have a flexible schedule and would love to use my downtime to care for your dogs. With years of experience and a deep love for all pups, I’ll make sure your furry friend feels safe, happy, and well cared for! I have a fenced off garden if on home stays. I have a very friendly Labrador who gets on well with other dogs and always up for adventures!

About: Currently in Guildford and will be returning to Portsmouth in September to continue walking your doggies! I am a marine biology student who spends most of her time studying and is desperate to look after some doggies. After begging my parents for years I have failed to persuade them to get one and am now looking elsewhere to get the chance to continue to look after them. I have looked after a family’s friends dog (whether it’s one day or multiple) many times taking him (Dennis) for walks, play time with other dogs and bathtime. As a student, my timetable varies but I know it all in advance so it’s easy to fit hours in between. My weekends are completely free and open for looking after your dogs. My house is fenced off with no loose wires. I have a lot of knowledge of the area around me and have some great places to walk the dog/s.

About: I have looked after dogs and cats for 3 decades as my pets. I am passionate in keeping them safe, feeding , walking and playing with my pets. I am free on most days as I work set days as a part time Clinical Nurse Specialist in Cardiology. You can pre booked up to 3 days so I can accommodate you but if urgent, I can negotiate! I have a secured home and garden with fence so your pets are safe. I have a place to fit them in if you want overnight sitting. I can visit home for cat sitting as I drive a car.

About: I have over 10 years of experience raising both a dog and a cat, and I've been surrounded by animals from a young age. My dog is well trained and very friendly. In addition to caring for my own pets, I regularly look after a French Bulldog named Sookie, providing anything from day care to overnight stays of four nights or more. As I work from home, I ensure the pets in my care get plenty of attention. I offer two long walks each day and keep them engaged through play and interaction. I also provide regular updates to owners, tailored to their specific preferences and needs. My approach to pet care is attentive, flexible, and personalised, ensuring that every animal is happy, safe, and comfortable while in my care. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, allowing me to give the pets in my care plenty of attention and engagement. I ensure they receive two walks each day and keep them entertained and stimulated throughout the day, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. I live in a three-bedroom house with a large, securely fenced garden, providing plenty of room for pets to explore and play safely. I have a wide range of engaging toys to keep them entertained, and I ensure they receive two walks a day. Along with regular exercise, I offer lots of love, attention, and care to make sure they feel happy and comfortable during their stay. I’m happy to provide lots of updates, pictures and videos throughout the stay to keep a peace of mind that your pet is safe and well cared for.

About: I've had dogs & cats (as well as numerous other animals) my entire life and in January '23 I started fostering rescues from Romania (and since Bulgaria) as I wanted to give them a fresh start in life and help them to find a loving and safe home. I adopted my most recent foster in July '24! I also regularly had my dad's senior labrador here to stay for weeks or months at a time and so am practiced in giving medication and looking after a senior dog. I absolutely love animals and spending time with them so walking or sitting for them would be an absolute joy for me. I'm available for walks most lunchtimes, evenings or any time on weekends and I'm available to sit most of the time as I work from home so can work from any location provided there's WiFi. I'm happy to follow any instructions given and am used to additional needs like giving medication etc. as long as the right guidance is given.

About: I come from a family that loves animals with all our hearts. I really love spending time with dogs and have experience in taking care of them. My grandparents owns a lovely German shepherd and she is 5 years old. She is everything to all of us. They taught and showed me how to love animals since I was little. They had many pets before I was born and after I was born. I would love to find a cutie I can get outside with and take for walks. Please do teach me all the necessary things and I am always ready to learn new informations about cute furry friends. I’m currently a full time college student. I have classes Monday-Wednesday but if I don’t have many assessments to do I can be free after classes. Thursday-Sunday I’m free most of the time but sometimes things come up and can get busy. I’m a student so I don’t think I have the best environment for pets in my college dorm. So, I can care for pets in their own safe homes. As I am an international student, I am a very responsible person. I came to a foreign country all alone and I had to learn to be independent and responsible all the time. You can trust me and I will not let you down.

About: Hey there! First things first, I completely understand your hesitation about letting someone else care for your beloved companion. So, let me share a bit about myself. My name is Jessica, and I live in Portsmouth. Pets have been a cherished part of my life for as long as I can remember. Dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles—you name it! Back at my family home in Kent, we have two lovable dogs: Ruby, a sweet Staff X Lurcher, and Boomer, a unique Patadale X Chihuahua X Silver Lab (I know, it’s quite the delightful mix with a long story of its own!). I'm genuinely excited to offer my services because, at the moment, I can’t have a pet of my own. This way, I’m not only helping wonderful people like you but also getting my daily dose of cuteness and the chance to care for your pet just as much as you do! With a diploma in Animal Management, I have a good foundation of knowledge about various animals. I eagerly look forward to getting to know you and your precious companions! I currently work part-time remotely, which gives me plenty of precious time to spend with your gorgeous pets! I'm more than happy to drop in during the day or evening for check-ins and walks, or even stay overnight to care for your little ones! I have experience with a few different breeds of various sizes. I’m an enthusiastic walker, and since I don’t have outdoor space at the moment, I’d love to take your pup out for a walk or two! My flat is not just cozy; it’s a warm and welcoming haven for animals! Occasionally, my partner’s pups come over to stay the night, and they always seem so incredibly happy here!

“Samantha did a great hob looking after our pug and Frenchie. Followed all our instructions and sent some nice pictures so we could see they were happy at home. Highly recommended!”

“Highly recommended! Michelle was looking after our two cats while we were abroad on holidays in Lanzarote. Cats were fed every day at the same time as requested. Water bowl was cleaned and changed on daily basis. Both of my cats are a bit socially anxious but after few hours with Michelle they were letting her pet them. Honest and caring pet sitter!”
