About: I have been around dogs since I was little. I am used to big dogs and small dogs, and have helped my mum with rover before! I am currently on a gap year, and have a few months where I am available! I feel that dog walking/sitting would fit into my schedule really well as I am used to walking my own dog when I have days off! I have a fenced front and back garden, and I have a loving chocolate labrador! I can follow your requests and update you throughout the sitting!

About: I grew up with dogs and understand the need to leave your pooch in the hands of someone you trust. I would be happy to meet up before you put your dog in our care to see if we are the right fit for you and to talk through your dog’s routine/requirements. I work in education (DBS checked) so therefore have a lot of time in the holidays to look after your dog. I also work part time so can offer dog walks/drops ins on days I am off. I have 2 children who adore dogs so I could only offer our services to dogs who are good with children. We would only be able to care for small or medium sized dogs due to their ages. We have a secure garden to provide enrichment for your dog whilst they stay with us. We live close to some gorgeous parks and the beach so could provide some lovely long walks. I work part time so am available Mondays and Fridays and most weekends. We are an active family who enjoy long walks on the weekend so would love to have a dog join the fun. We provide a secure garden for your dog to have enrichment outdoors. We would listen carefully to your dog’s requirements and routine and will provide photos of your dog having lots of fun. We would prefer it if your dog would be happy to sleep downstairs.

About: I have grown up with dogs most of life so I do have years of experience in interacting with our 4 legged friends. Unfortunately, my personal circumstances do not allow me to have a dog of my own but I do currently live in a household with 2 springers and I regularly look after my friends 4 year old English springer who I have known and looked after since he was puppy. When in my company, your pup is my main priority and will do all I can to ensure their time with me is an enjoyable one. I love walking and the outdoors so you can be assured your dog will get lots of fresh air and they will be able to run around and play burning off all that energy. I would prefer dog sitting rather than provide boarding as I do not currently have my own home and this way it assures that your dog is their own, safe environment to avoid any additional stress or anxiety. To ensure your dog is cared for in the most effective way, I would like to meet you and your pet before hand so you can put a person to the profile and also your fur baby has an opportunity to know who I am before they are in my care so they are assured I am not a stranger and they feel safe. I will also ask questions such as: feeding habits, what kind of treats they like, how many walks are required and for how long, Can they be left alone and if so, for how long and how they are in social environments so you can leave your pup knowing they are in safe hands and will be following their same routine and of course it goes without saying that you will be provided with regular “pup dates” . I look forward to walking and spending time with your fur babies 🐶🐾 I do work full time hours (9-5) Monday - Friday however, I can assure you your dog will be walked first thing and taken for a lovely long walk in the evening and made a fuss of. I appreciate this routine may not be for everyone however, I hope you wound still consider me as I truly will give your fur baby the best care. I love dogs and have always wanted one of my own however, my current circumstances do not allow me to have one. My love for animals will ensure your fur baby will be in a safe environment and you can guarantee they will have lots of fuss, play, aswell as fun walks. You will also get regular pup dates whilst they are in my care.

About: Hi! I’m a long-time animal lover with over 8 years of pet care experience—and a soft spot for furry (and feathery!) friends. It all started by helping out with my siblings’ pets whenever they were busy with work. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, cuddling, and making sure they didn’t get into too much mischief! Then friends started asking me to care for their pets too, and I’ve been the go-to pet sitter ever since. I even spent a year working as a carer for the elderly, which taught me how to be extra patient and gentle, all things that help when looking after pets with their own unique personalities. I've always wanted a job where I get to hang out with animals and give them the love and attention they deserve. That’s why I became a professional pet sitter because tail wags, happy purrs, and pet snuggles are my idea of a perfect day! I’m currently available 5 days a week, so your pet will get plenty of attention and care whenever you need it! With flexible availability and lots of free time, I’m ready to be your pet’s new best friend—whether it’s for daily visits, playtime, or longer stays. How I care for pets in a pet owner’s home depends on each pet’s needs, but my main goal I follow the owner’s instructions carefully. Whether it’s feeding schedules, medication, walks, playtime, or special routines to ensure I keep everything consistent. I make sure pets get plenty of attention and exercise, lots of cuddles, and a calm environment where they can relax. If I’m doing overnight stays, I stay attentive through the night and keep a watchful eye to make sure they’re comfortable and stress-free. I also update the owners regularly with photos or messages so they know their furry friends are in good hands. Every pet is different, so I always take time to get to know their personality and preferences to provide the best possible care.

About: I've taken care of various family members dogs when they go on holiday, these range from kings charles cavs spaniels, golden retriever and labs, and take care of neighbours dogs when they go on holiday, making your furry friend part of the family. I am currently working full time but will have spare time on some evenings and days off to care for dogs and take for walks, and if need boarding there is always someone at home, I have a fenced in garden if dogs come to stay, also a fair sized garden for dogs to play in and have fun and run around,

About: I have looked after dogs all my life as we’ve always had them in the family. From border collies, to huskies, to dachshunds, I have a good understanding of how to look after dogs and understand their behaviours. I promise I will give them lots of love and cuddles, making sure they like me as much as I like them! I work from home 5 days per week (Monday - Friday) and would be happy to care for your dog in my own home! I have a fenced garden and patio doors that lead straight out from the kitchen, so the garden is accessible anytime throughout the day. I always make sure the dog feels comfortable and happy with me in the home, using mental stimulation activities, plenty of exercise outside and lots of time for cuddles (if your dog likes that!)

About: I grew up with a family dog, giving me a strong understanding of canine care. I have a friendly approach to dogs and love spending time outdoors, ensuring your pet gets plenty of exercise and play. My daughter also loves dogs, creating a nurturing environment for your furry friend; which is why I chose Rover, allowing me to not just care for your dog but also create memories with my daughter as we both love them as if they were ours..I’m committed to providing a safe and caring experience tailored to your pet’s needs. As a full-time stay-at-home mom and carer, I have plenty of time to dedicate to your dog. While my daughter is at school, I can provide focused care and enjoy outings with your pet. After school, we love spending time together at home and going for walks, ensuring your dog receives lots of attention and exercise. I’m flexible with my schedule, so you can trust that your furry friend will be well-cared for in our loving environment. In my one-bedroom flat, I prioritize your dog’s safety and comfort. With locked doors and child safety locks on the windows, I ensure there’s no risk of escape. Although I don’t have a garden, I have a designated area for walks and playtime. Additionally, if needed, I can provide a separate room for your pet to feel secure and relaxed. You can trust that your furry friend will be well-cared for in a safe environment.

About: I've taken care of elderly dogs and puppies. I specialise in animals with anxiety and use reassurance and tools like thunder jackets to help them with this. I have many creative ways to deliver medication, even for pets that always find a way to avoid the tablet. I don't discriminate on breed, all dogs are good dogs. I have looked after large cross breeds to small bull dogs and understand different breeds have different requirements. I have my own rescue elderly staffie who has taught me a lot about keeping old dogs young and helping dogs with their anxiety. Pets like routine and boundaries, I will help keep their routine change to a minimum when their humans are away so they feel safe and loved. I like to have fun with animals, watching them trying to work out puzzles or taking them to new places is a joy. I will always love them and treat them like they are my own pet. I now have more availability to do extended house sits and regular visits and walks. Contact me regarding your dates so I can check to make sure I can meet your requirements. I know it is a lot to trust an individual into your home. I will listen to your expectations and boundaries and follow them. If you first wish to meet outside of the home to help with this I am happy to meet you. I will follow your instructions about the care for your pet and make sure you are happy with any plans I have for your pet. I will keep you updated on your pet while I take care of them.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats through family and friends and truly enjoy their company! In a more professional capacity, I recently worked in a cat and dog shelter in Japan where I got to know over 100 different dogs. I also helped to looked after over 40 cats and loved playing with them and contributed to the cleaning of both dog and cat living spaces. I work at a special educational needs setting and have August off due to the holidays. I have very little planned and would love to have some furry friends to take care of and to join me for walks in local areas! I have an outside space and very close local park for toileting. I love to be in the same room as dogs as I enjoy their companionship and like to be ready to play when they want to! I have a large living area to accommodate them.

Ruth D.Star Sitter
“Ruth was amazing with our cockapoo Teddy! He is an extremely energetic dog that needs lots of attention and Ruth made sure that Teddy was well looked after with lots of long walks at the beach, constant ball throwing and tons of cuddles from the whole family. We received regular updates and photos whilst we were away for the week on holiday. We could completely relax knowing that Ted was being so cared for and loved by Ruth and her family. Without doubt we would highly recommend Ruth for dog sitting or boarding for your pet!”

Ayla A.
“Ayla has had large choc labs in her life from an early age. As any labrador owner knows they are boisterous hooligans & don't mellow with age until they are 5 or 6 years old if you are lucky 😉 So Ayla is used to caring for & walking this type of excitable dog. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ayla to look after anyone's animal. I have personally been on Rover looking after dogs for over 4 years & Ayla has helped me look after small & large dogs on many occasions in our home. Ayla has completed her studies & has taken a year out to travel & do adhoc work & am pleased she is home for the summer hence able to offer her services on Rover.”

Chloe H.
“Chloe was amazing with my springer spaniel, Boris. Chloe arranged a meet up in advance of the booking, not only to not be a stranger before arriving in his home, but also to spend time with me to best understand how to best care for him and maintain his routine while I was away. Chloe was considerate of my home and left it all clean and tidy for my return. If anything, I think Boris prefers her to me! I would happily recommend Chloe and will definitely consider booking her for future requests.”

Gabrian C.
“Gabrian is clearly a natural animal lover, and we have been extremely happy with the care he has provided for our 2 dogs and cat. Our dogs can be quite nervous and so it was lovely to see them bond with Gabrian so quickly. Gabrian has taken our dogs out for fun and safe walks, popped in to give toilet breaks, and offered top class pet sitting. We were able to go on holiday for a week with the comfort of knowing that our dogs were being comforted, cuddled, and walked... not forgetting lots of cuddles and love for our cat. He sent regular pictures of our dogs looking very happy on their walks and our pets looking relaxed at home. So lucky to have found such a responsible and loving pet caregiver. Highly recommend Gabrian!”

Sarah H.

“Miss Stazzone is a friendly sitter, she’s been very reliable and my dog is always happy to be with her. I thought my dog wouldn’t like the fact that there was a child present in her own but to my surprise, her daughter is gentle and I haven’t had any issues.”
