“We cannot ask for a better cat sitter than Allie for our 3 fluffy boys while we were on holiday, including giving our cat Oscar his insulin injection twice a day. Allie sent us regular updates and adorable pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was always responsive to any questions we had, and it was clear that our cats felt completely at ease with her. Knowing they were in such safe hands made our trip all the more enjoyable. If you are looking for a reliable, caring, and professional pet sitter, I cannot recommend Allie enough.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and my 3 kids have had dogs around them their whole life my partner is a dog lover as well who is extremely good in dog training. We are the family who always volunteer to dog sit while family and friends are on holiday and would love to help other families as well! I work part time and am home afternoons Monday- Wednesday and Thursday mornings. As a family we spend our weekends exploring with our own dog who loves big walks and discovering new places both locally and driving around Scotland. I have a large fenced garden with plenty great walking areas locally, your dog would be free to roam the house and make themself at home.

About: Hello! My name is Guilherme, and I’m a pet lover based in Musselburgh. I currently have two lovely cats, but I grew up surrounded by dogs and have always had a deep connection with them. Since moving abroad, I’ve really missed being around dogs, which is what inspired me to start dog walking. For me, this isn’t just a job, it’s a way to reconnect with the joy and energy that dogs bring into everyday life. I’m friendly, reliable, and patient, and I genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors with animals. Whether your dog loves an active walk or prefers a slow, sniff-filled stroll, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’d be delighted to meet you and your dog, and help you with regular or occasional walks. Please feel free to get in touch. I look forward to meeting your furry friend! I work part time at the moment and my work is quite flexible, so I’m able to fit the bookings quite easily on my schedule I’ll always look after the pets as they were mine. I have 2 cats and I love them, so I’ll always care your dogs/cats if they were also mine and give them the best time and the best attention for they joy and safety

About: I understand that pets are more than pets, they are family. Therefore I ensure a happy and healthy environment for pets which I have obtained through years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, I’ve developed a calm, confident approach that animals trust. I’ve worked with everything from high-energy puppies needing consistent training, to senior dogs and cats requiring extra patience and love. I’m comfortable handling a wide range of behaviours and health needs, including timid pets with anxiety. I pay close attention to routines, dietary requirements, and body language. My goal is always to create a safe, stress-free environment by providing loving, dependable care. I have recently returned from a 6 month backpacking trip, therefore I am free all day, every day. I can work around your needs, whether that is early morning or late night walks in the park. I live in the countryside, perfect for dogs to run free, whilst ensuring their safety by keeping them inside the garden at all times. My dog thrived in this environment her whole life, and my two cats spend most of their time enjoying our surroundings. There are massive fields next door to my house where dogs can run free, and there are many walking routes in the area.

About: I’ve taken care of friends and families dogs and cats and absolutely love it and the stress reliever knowing that their furry babies are well cared for! I work full time 9-4 with a flexible scheduled and work from home days! Happy to work around and help mornings, evenings and weekends also! I don’t have any pets of my own but I’d be open to having your pets in my home but be aware that I live in a flat so no access to private garden unfortunately.

About: I work in a doggy day care part time. With my flexible work schedule I am able to help out with my friends and family’s pets. I have had dogs all through out my life, also many other pets. My pet care would fit in with my work I currently work part time, so have extra time to look after pets. I also have my two own dogs so for walking I am out a lot also. I am a home owner, with a full fenced private garden. For walking I have harness straps for dogs traveling in the car, but I also live close to farm land and country parks.

About: I’ve had continuous interaction and experience with dogs for 18 years. We had a family dog for 15 years who was my best friend, and now my sister has two beautiful Cavapoo’s that I look after fairly regularly. I always offer to friends and family to dog sit and have been taken up on the offer a few times which has been lovely having a dog in our flat. I would love a dog of my own but sadly it is not suitable due to my current working hours. Nothing brings me joy as much as seeing or spending time with dogs. I promise to treat them with the same love and attention you would yourself. I work Monday-Friday but I am available Thursdays after 1.30pm for drop in visits and dog walks. I am available Fridays after 5.30pm and overnight boarding. I am free all day and overnight boarding for a Saturday. Sunday I am free all day. I also have a car so I am available for pickup and drop off services too. I have a private garden and am walking distance from great walks. I am fairly fit and like to go walks/runs daily so would be great to get out with a dog. I have no issue with pets on furniture or beds, in fact I encourage it as I love cuddles. I have no other pets at home and have plenty space to play. If puppy sitting - I have flooring throughout so any accidents or spills are not a problem. Plenty room for a crate if you would prefer crate training. I chose Rover as with the Rover Guarantee I feel it gives you and I both peace of mind for secure, trustworthy bookings and reassurance for any issues if they were to occur.

About: I've had my own dog since I was 13, whom I have had most of the responsibility for. He is a small westie, so I'm used to feisty dogs. I have had a lot of experience walking the dog's of my family members, including a springer spaniel with an unlimited supply of energy. Therefore, I am more than happy to take your dog's on long hikes to tire them out. I am currently studying part-time on a flexible schedule, so I can easily make visits during the week to keep your dog company or to get them out for walks. I ask for as much information as possible about your pet's habits, possible safety concerns, how they interact with other dogs, and any other hazards I should be aware of - whether that be in your home or on walks. I will make sure your dog gets the exercise they need, but also the mental stimulation needed to keep their brain active.

About: We’re a dog-loving family offering short-term dog sitting in a safe, fun, and loving environment. As former dog owners, we have plenty of experience and love taking long walks to ensure your dog stays active and happy. While we don’t have our own pets due to work commitments, we absolutely adore dogs and would love to welcome yours for a short stay. Our young child is especially excited to have a furry friend to play with and shower with attention. Rest assured, your dog will feel like part of the family during their time with us. As myself and my partner both work full-time, our availability is primarily during evenings and weekends. However, my partner has the flexibility to work from home two days a week on a rotating schedule, allowing us to accommodate pick-ups and drop-offs to better fit your needs. Myself and my partner care for pets in our home by providing a safe and comfortable environment where they can feel at ease. Our house is all on one level with no stairs, making it easy for pets to move around freely. We have a large, secure enclosed back garden with high fences, allowing for safe outdoor time. Pets have free roaming access to the entire house, ensuring they feel like part of the family. We're also happy to follow any specific instructions or unique requirements your pet may have. Additionally, we offer plenty of local on-lead walks to keep your pet active and happy.
