That experience has sparked a deep passion for working with dogs and understanding what makes them happy, safe, and fulfilled. One of the things I care about most is making sure dogs get what they need, not just a walk, but real engagement. I love using play, training games, and decompression walks, to give dogs both mental and physical stimulation, especially in ways that suit their breed and personality. Whether it’s satisfying a Labrador’s love of retrieving or helping a nervous pup feel secure and seen, I put thought into every interaction. While I’m still gaining experience, I’m reliable, observant, and I’m so passionate about providing the best service I can. I treat every dog in my care as I do my own: with love, respect, and so much enthusiasm. Pet care fits nicely into my weekly routine, and I’m currently available part-time on Mondays, Fridays, and weekends. I keep a flexible schedule on those days, which allows me to give your dog the time and attention they deserve without rushing. While I’m starting with limited availability, I can be flexible when needed. Just reach out and I’ll do my best to accommodate you! I’m excited to grow into this role at a pace that allows me to offer the highest quality care. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. At home, we have securely fenced areas at both the front and back of the house, with a grassed space perfect for calm, on-lead playtime and games. Inside, our home is dog-friendly and thoughtfully set up with gated areas to keep pets safe and separate from things like children’s toys or anything that could cause stress or overstimulation. There’s also plenty of space for crates or beds, and I’m happy to accommodate your dog’s usual routine, whether that means crate time, free roaming, or something in between. We do have one resident dog: a friendly, 1-year-old female Labrador (currently unspayed), and a cat who is used to being around dogs. I always take introductions slowly and carefully to ensure everyone feels safe and at ease. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I aim to create a calm, secure, and positive environment where they feel relaxed, respected, and happy.

“Marcie was great, she looked after my boys for two evenings and I can’t fault anything. She was punctual, polite and looked after the dogs and the house, so couldn’t really ask for more. I was anxious about leaving the dogs with someone I don’t know but she kept me updated through the evening with photos of how they were all getting on. About: Since I’ve been born I’ve always been around animals, that being dog and cats. I grew up with a husky and had him until he was 17, and I made the decision to get a little fur baby of my own Enzo. I have trained Enzo and he is now the most perfect little boy in the world. I have experience with other puppies and have had plenty of play dates with his best friend Archie who is currently 15 weeks old! About: I have been a fully insured dog walker for the past two years . I have lots of experience working with and being around dogs/animals and would love to provide my services to those who need it . “Lucy has been amazing with Caesar, he looks like he has had the time of his life! Caesar was a lockdown puppy so never got the chance when young to socialise fully but in the space of a weekend Lucy has been able to introduce him to lots of friends and sent us lots of videos of him playing with the other dogs as well as our walking, and playing in the house. Lucy sent lots of regular updates of their travels and fun as well as to reassure us he was fine in the house. We definitely will be asking Lucy to look after Caesar again because she has been amazing with him and know we can go away worry-free knowing he will be having the best time.”

About: Growing up our house was home to a number of different breeds of dogs that we loved and cared for very much. I've had a good exposure to varying temperaments and behaviours. Currently I'm a med student who attends university in Manchester two days a week and the rest of my time is spent at home studying. At home there is plenty of dedicated space for pets to roam and relax inside. Not much of a garden but the local park is just around the corner.

About: I have had pets for my entire life, with a focus on dogs in particular. I love animals and am often asked to help friends with pet sitting, and recently spent time training my friends pet whilst pet sitting to go outside for wees. (NB: I am not a professional dog trainer). I grew up with spaniels and a cat. And later in life have had pugs, miniature pinschers, Heinz 57, Boston terrier, husky’s to name a few in my life! I also have experience caring for exotic animals such as Mantis, having had my own ghost and spiny flower mantis. Unfortunately I now live in a house that is too small to keep a dog happy, with no outside space so I am unable to have a dog of my own :( **the app is not great in terms of calendar and what I can do each day, if something is not marked as available please message me and I will do my best to accommodate you** I work from home during the week, and am usually only out for work on a Thursday. This means I have time during the week to complete dog walks, drop ins and stays with your loved ones! At times I may need to have my child with me if the house sit is for a few days. He is 9 years old and experienced and respectful with all animals and homes. Please do let me know if this is something you would not be comfortable with I will respect your routine and preferences with your pets, keeping their usual routine is so important to maintain their happiness and comfort! I am happy to follow your usual feeding routines, and will do my best to make sure your pet is happy and feels loved. I respect the environment I am in, and you will come home to your place being just as you left it :)

About: I’ve had lots of pets since I was born from dogs and cats to lizards and rats. I have always loved being around animals, taking care of them and making them feel loved and comfortable :) Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life, I have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own, so my routine naturally revolves around feeding, walking, playtime, and cuddles. I’m used to early mornings, regular exercise, and keeping animals happy, healthy, and comfortable. I’m passionate about working with animals and plan to make pet care my full time career. “Lucas was new to Rover and stepped in last minute when our original house and pet sitter had to cancel. Lucas could not have done a better job from the moment we met him we were put at ease and confident in his abilities to care for our pets. He was tasked with looking after 3 delinquent doggies and a sphinx cat all with their own habits and quirky ways which did not deter him from saying yes! We were kept updated daily with photos and messages and even maps showing where he had taken the dogs for walks. Nothing was too much trouble he kept the house immaculate and watered the plants keeping them alive and well 🤣 We would 100% recommend Lucas to any prospective Rover clients 👌 Thank you ☺️”

About: I have had dogs all my life and have always loved all breeds and love the company. Since I have been a teenager I have regularly helped family members and friends walking and caring for their dogs. Happy to walk from 6-8am and 6:25-10pm. I currently work full time Monday to Friday 9-5 but happy to walk between 6-8am and 6:15-10pm Monday to Friday. Occasionally work from home so can do lunch hour but would beee more notice. I am not currently offering dog sitting from my own home at the moment. I am open to sitting in owners homes if and when required

About: I had my last pet 18 months ago when she had to be put to sleep, I work part time, so your pet would never be left for more than 3 hours at a time, I love being outdoors and playing giving lots of attention, ensuring your pets are happy and content when in my care I only work part time so I have plenty of time to give your furry family all the attention playtime and exercise they need to be happy and content I have a back yard with tall walls so your pet would be kept safe at all times, dogs free to roam throughout the whole house

I currently work from home so I can provide a personal service for your dog any day all day. If you would like me to visit your home then that is OK also. About: Dog lover doesn’t even cut it 🐶🐕 My Nanna Woof spent her life rehoming dogs of all kinds to the point of 20+ at any one time and my Mum is also a dog groomer with 20+ years of experience and currently has 8 dogs of her own. I regularly house sit for friends and family members, including the CEO of my business who owns a large farm with 3 dogs, 5 cats, sheep, chickens, rabbits and cows. About: I have had many dogs of varying breeds, some of which I have rescued & rehomed. I'm now retired & looking to help pet lovers out to meet their pet's requirements. I have also trained several pet's not just puppies, I have managed to calm fully grown or adult 'naughty' pets too. I'm an outdoors person so your 'best friend' will be well exercised. Usual exercise regime is 2.5 to 3 hours in the morning & another 1 to 2 hours in the evening. However, some of your 'fur babies' merely need company & now I am at home all day that's an easy requirement to fulfil. I have a large well fenced & secure rear garden & I live close to the countryside with open fields less than a minute walk from my front door, you're pet's needs will be very well catered for. The exercise regime alone represents the individual dog's needs. Feel free to make a visit prior to booking your pet's stay, it's better for your pet to meet & see where they will be staying before merely just dropping them off. Finally, you can rest assured as I am fully insured whilst your pet is within my care. The only times that I will not be home is when I go shopping, to the gym or out walking If you book with me, I will ensure that any weekends away or holidays will be booked to suite pet's parents requirements. In my house your pet will have full run of the kitchen, hallway, stairs & 3 landings which are are fully open. My rear garden is quite large, with an area of 500m2 fully fenced & secure, with a good lawned area where the birds & squirrels like to play, but only if the garden is quiet.
