“Rhea sat with our gentle giant labrador for the day. Rhea met Yogi prior to the stay and was just such a lovely lady with a gentle nature that i knew straight away Yogi would like her and be safe whilst we enjoyed a whole day out which does not happen often! Yogi was completely relaxed when we returned and Rhea had taken Yogi out for a walk and followed his feeding regime. Yogi has arthritis and we don't tend to leave him for long so it was lovely to have the opportunity of a day out and we will be planning another one shortly :)”

“Michelle and Phil were simply fantastic sitters. Buster was very happy and thoroughly spoilt. They gave him super care and he enjoyed all his special outings. The photos sent during the holiday gave me such reassurance. Highly recommended to all.”

“Keighley is an absolute superstar sitter! She took such good care of our labrador Poppy and cat Indy while we were away for two nights, and she managed Poppy's bounciness expertly. Keighley arrived right on time and took onboard all our instructions, and is a complete natural with both dogs and cats...both our furballs loved her and settled really quickly with her. We were kept regularly updated on how they were doing, and received lots of fantastic photos. She also took great care of our home and left it immaculate, even leaving a little gift bag of treats for the pups which was a lovely touch. We will definitely be using Keighley as a sitter again as know that our pups and our home will be in really safe hands. We 100% recommend her 🙂”

“This was Flavia's first overnight sit with Baxter after a couple of shorter day/evening sits. And what an amazing success it was! Within just a few hours Baxter was lying snoring upside down beside Flavia in bed and within 24 hours my usually very reserved dog was clambering on her lap and throwing himself backwards into her arms for a cuddle!! I am absolutely amazed. Flavia is honestly such a natural with him and reads him perfectly, she follows every instruction to the letter and is so clean and tidy. It's such a weight off our minds to not only know our beloved pooch is in such good hands but that he seems to actively enjoy her company too. Thanks again Flavia, we'll see you again soon!”

“Nasima was just amazing! From the very moment we met her we knew she’d look after our boy as if he were her own. Nasima is incredibly friendly, approachable and has a clear love for animals. Raffie was instantly obsessed with her and Nasima’s regular photo updates showed us just how much he enjoyed her company. Nasima will now be our first port of call when we need someone to take care of Raffie. We cannot recommend her highly enough.”

“Our dog was very comfortable and had a great time with Natalie! Considering we don't leave him with dog-sitters often we were really happy with how well he coped which is down to Natalie being attentive, understanding and meeting all of his needs. We got updates and photos which kept us at ease, and our home was left in perfect condition. Would highly recommend Natalie and you can trust that your dog will be well looked after and pampered :)”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past couple of years and I’ve adopted 2 dogs in total I now only have 1 dog and would love to help others with any training, or care needed My schedule is currently free as I look after my two kids with my partner so I will have plenty of time to look after your pet I currently live in a flat that has balcony access at all times there’s a couple dog parks nearby that I can take your dog to also.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs so I know how to love and care for them properly. My family have 2 dogs of our own currently who I look after - walking, feeding and bathing (and lots of love and attention too). I love dogs more than anything no matter how big or small and I have helped friends and family in the past by walking and caring for their dogs (and some cats too). I work full time so I am able to dog sit across weekends. If you need someone to stay in your home whilst you’re away I can do this too, however someone would just need to be able to pop in to check on the dogs during the day since I will be at work. I am able to work from home for 2 days a week (excluding Monday and Friday) so I can do midweek sits even if it’s just for the evening. Your dog(s) is my number one priority and safety is paramount. I will ensure that I take on board any information you give me about your dog including any habits or things I need to be aware of when walking or caring for your doggy.

About: I am fully insured as a pet sitter and dog walker. I only look after one families pets at a time, I like to provide my full attention to your pet. I have many years experience looking after animals. I have owned little furries since I was 10 years old. I have taken care of family members dogs for many years, walking them regularly and keeping them overkight if required. I have also provided voluntary care including dog walking for people who have difficulty walking their own dogs. I do this purely because I love animals especially dogs, unfortunately due to working shifts means it wouldn't be fair to have a dog of my own. I have my partner to help out at weekends and evenings, who is amazing with dogs and they all seem to absolutely love him! I work shifts so on my days off and I would like to take dogs for regular walks and take care of them whilst families are at work to help fill my time I have just moved into a new home where I currently have 2 hamsters, when accommodating dogs I ensure the hamsters are safe and and hidden out of the way in one of the spare bedrooms. We have a big home with a garden and conservatory, where I can accommodate looking after them for the day. We have large open spaces nearby for plenty of walks to keep active. I never leave the dogs alone and will be with them at all times. I only look after one dog at a time, 2 if they live together.

About: I have a German Shepherd and a Chihuahua, so I am experienced in taking care of large and little dogs. I am more than happy to take care of any dog and my own dogs are very friendly. Any questions please feel free to message me. I am currently a university student in Manchester, but I’m in Portsmouth during the holidays where I live with my mum, dad, brother and sister who all love dogs. I am always home and am available any time, there is always someone around and the pets are never left alone. We have a reasonable sized garden, which is completely safe. Our kitchen is open plan so there is lots of space for the dogs to roam around.

“A delightful, fun young lady who was a pleasure to invite into our home. She immediately bonded with our large dog and he was very calm and happy in her company. She kindly sent us regular updates on or dog throughout the evening so we were confident he was happy. A joy to meet and will definately use again. Thanks Victoria ( Hi Otis!)”

“Thank you, such a beautiful person inside and out who clearly loves dogs. My pups were well looked after and cared for and I was kept updated. Will highly recommend and will use again 100%. Thank you.”

About: I have had dogs/pets since I was a little girl, love all dogs, always bond well. I used to work at the local doggy day care and loved every second. Always went the extra mile to make sure they were extra happy! I am currently on leave for work up until November but, I have a few holidays. Please refer to my calendar for actual dates. Some days I’m not available for a couple of hours. but free the rest of the day so just drop me a message if I’m unavailable on a day you’d desire If you have any questions, please just drop me a message! :) I have my own place and open to taking care of your pets in my home. I’m always polite and respectful of others homes. I have been asked in previous years to look after other pets, such as cats and rabbit.

“Lovely girl looked after our dog Barney so well, and our cat socks. Barney was completely chilled out when we got back after our night away . Definitely recommend Rebecca. Thank you again”

About: Confident caring for animals big or small. Live in a flat so unfortunately can't have a dog of my own but regularly walk and sit friends and family dogs. I work weekdays so can be available very early mornings and/or late afternoons/ evenings and weekends. No children, so can be available at short notice. I am responsible and wouldn't knowingly but your animals health or safety at risk. I can follow directions on care and can keep in contact with you, should you like me to.

“Laura did another fantastic dog sit for me, looking after my two rescue dogs and one with separation anxiety. I came back to a tidy house ,happy dogs . Laure had brushed my dog's for my return and kept me regularly updated . I would highly recommend Laura. Thank you so much .”

About: Hi, I’m Cara and I’m a reliable and passionate pet sitter with experience looking after dogs with a range of personalities! I have grown up with dogs my whole life and love them as much as anyone could! I’m looking to work with them outside of university maybe as a trainer or work with detection dogs in conservation! I’ve grown up with Hungarian pooles (which aren’t the best with people or other dogs) so I’ve learnt to be very observant and cautious when out walking them. I’ve also grown up with cockapoos and springers so I know the other end of spectrum when it comes to energy and excitement out on walks. Growing up, I regularly walked neighbours dogs around the village for some pocket money! Since then, I have walked and cared for dogs for friends, family, and some private clients. When I heard about Rover I thought it was a great opportunity to get some extra support financially through University whilst being able to hang out with dogs! What a bargain. Let me know how I can help, and I look forward to meeting your pet! As a university student, I have a flexible schedule with free days that make it easy for me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pet. I also have a car, so I can easily travel to your home whenever you need me. I am free all day Wednesdays and Thursdays, and in the mornings Mondays. I work Saturdays but am available Sundays. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. I will ensure they are well-cared for, comfortable, and happy, whether that means taking them for walks, playing tug-of-war, feeding them on time, or simply keeping them company. You can trust me because I understand how important it is to have someone reliable and caring look after your furry friend. I will treat them like my own, keeping you updated with regular check-ins while you’re away.

About: Hey there! First things first, I completely understand your hesitation about letting someone else care for your beloved companion. So, let me share a bit about myself. My name is Jessica, and I live in Portsmouth. Pets have been a cherished part of my life for as long as I can remember. Dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles—you name it! Back at my family home in Kent, we have two lovable dogs: Ruby, a sweet Staff X Lurcher, and Boomer, a unique Patadale X Chihuahua X Silver Lab (I know, it’s quite the delightful mix with a long story of its own!). I'm genuinely excited to offer my services because, at the moment, I can’t have a pet of my own. This way, I’m not only helping wonderful people like you but also getting my daily dose of cuteness and the chance to care for your pet just as much as you do! With a diploma in Animal Management, I have a good foundation of knowledge about various animals. I eagerly look forward to getting to know you and your precious companions! I currently work part-time remotely, which gives me plenty of precious time to spend with your gorgeous pets! I'm more than happy to drop in during the day or evening for check-ins and walks, or even stay overnight to care for your little ones! I have experience with a few different breeds of various sizes. I’m an enthusiastic walker, and since I don’t have outdoor space at the moment, I’d love to take your pup out for a walk or two! My flat is not just cozy; it’s a warm and welcoming haven for animals! Occasionally, my partner’s pups come over to stay the night, and they always seem so incredibly happy here!

About: Meet Louis – Your Friendly Neighborhood Dog Walker 🐾 Hi, I’m Louis! I’m just starting out as a professional dog walker, but my love for animals has been lifelong. Whether it’s a playful pup or a shy senior dog, I believe every pet deserves patient, attentive care—and that’s exactly what I promise to give. I treat every dog as if they were my own, making sure they’re safe, happy, and well-exercised during every walk. I pay close attention to their body language and behavior, and I’m always happy to adjust the pace or route to match their comfort and needs. Whether your dog loves energetic runs or slow, sniff-filled strolls, I’ve got it covered. If you’re looking for someone reliable, caring, and totally in love with animals, I’d be honored to walk your furry friend. Let’s get those tails wagging! 🐶💚 As I can be very flexible with working with others as my own working schedule with work and every day needs, with keeping myself extra fit having fun with animals. When in someone’s property I would always be very respectful clean polite with the pets being my priority as in safe and comfortable at all times

About: Me and my partner Ben, 25 & 28 have both had pets our whole lives. We have loads of free time in the day and would love to look after your pets! I also have an enhanced DBS. We have free time in the days and weekends, one of us can always be home, and we have so much free time for walks and playing! We have a fenced off back garden with plenty of space, and shade. Lots of space indoors, nice and secure. And a lovely walk nearby. The gates to the garden are padlocked, and the house is alarmed.
