About: I’be taken care of the dogs from the young age. Our family always had the furry friends by our side. I loved to train them and I will happily train your lovely pet 😊 I had an experience with dogs of all ages - from puppies to seniors, so your dog will get a great care no matter their age 🤎 I am a student so I am mostly free on my week. My schedule takes 3 days in a week and most of my work I do home. Me and my partner love to go on a little trips to sea on weekends, so your dog can join us on these adventures! I am a reliable person, I love to be on time for the meetings and sittings. I will listen to all of your instructions of how to take the best care of your fur baby.

“Vicky was very friendly and took the time to meet myself and my dogs prior to our bookings. She sent over photos and an update after the booking which I really appreciate!! Having 2 dogs I had a few requests and some varied for each dog but Vicky was able to accommodate this - thank you!!”

About: I have had and taken care of both cats and dogs since the age of 8 for family, friends and neighbours, walking, feeding, playing with and house sitting with animals. I am very comfortable with animals of all shapes and sizes I currently am on summer break and am available every day from morning to night just drop me a message and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible While I do not let pets board in my own home I am always very cautious to follow any instructions given to me on where pets are and are not allowed, making sure to keep them in their designated areas.

About: I've been around and taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was very young. I've some experience with dog training (I'm not professional by any means) but as a result, I am very comfortable and confident handling big dogs, as well as small dogs. I do not discriminate and am happy to sit any breed of dog, bully breeds have a special place in my heart! I have recently lost my childhood dog, a black lab (the first photo), and so it means the world to me that I can meet so many loving pets. I work Saturdays but am free on weekdays, I may have free time outside of my availability shown (just pop me a message!) and I'm very flexible - caring for a pet can be unpredictable and the needs of your dog come first. I am very flexible with your preferences and the way you care for your dog. If you want to reinforce that they don't go on the furniture, I can maintain this. If they are reactive and you prefer them not to socialise with other dogs, I can maintain this. If you would like to reinforce the use of crates or other equipment (muzzles etc...) please provide these.

About: I go beyond basic care by treating every dog like family—ensuring they feel safe, loved, and engaged. With keen attention to detail, a calm and confident approach, and a genuine passion for animals, I provide personalised care that sets me apart from other sitters. I’m currently doing dog services full time, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to dog walking. This means I’m flexible, reliable, and able to give your dog the attention and care they need whenever it works best for you. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I provide a secure, dog-friendly environment where your pet feels comfortable and cared for. You can count on me to follow routines, watch closely for any signs of stress or discomfort, and treat your dog with the same love and attention I’d give my own.

About: Hi! I’m a dog lover and proud owner of a sweet cockapoo puppy girl. I have two wonderful kids, ages 5 and 11, and as a family, we adore spending time with dogs. We’re friendly, caring, and love making furry friends feel at home. Your dog will be treated like part of the family with us! (I can provide my DBS check) Currently I’m working part-time and mostly remotely, so I have free time to care about pets and at the same time enjoy their company. I can take dogs for walks or for a night with us. Also cats are welcome and able to explore my home and even climb on curtains (what some of them like so much). I have a private house with a big fenced garden. Pets are allowed on furniture. My family is very friendly and we have a nice park nearby to take dogs for walks. I always tidy up after and keep my home safe and clean.

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience from my own Labrador and previously my much-loved Doberman and Dalmatian. I enjoy heelwork, obedience training, agility, scentwork, swimming, frisbee, and fetch — always tailored to each dog’s unique energy, age, and breed. Whether it’s a high-drive pup or a senior needing a gentle pace, I adjust to their individual needs with patience, structure, and care. Pet care fits naturally into my routine right now as I’m currently on maternity leave and have lots of flexibility for walks and drop-in visits. I bring my little one along in a pram or carrier, so I’m only able to care for dogs who are comfortable around children. This setup allows me to give dogs regular, focused attention while maintaining a calm and steady routine. I treat every dog with the same care and attention I give my own. During walks and drop-ins, I focus on safety by using secure, well-fitting gear and choosing routes that match each dog’s energy level, temperament, and confidence. I never rush or push dogs beyond what they’re comfortable with — I move at their pace, whether it’s a high-energy outing or a calm sniff-and-stroll. I follow all instructions carefully, from feeding and medication to specific training cues or behavior preferences. I’m always watching for changes in body language, mood, or behavior so I can respond quickly and appropriately. Building trust is essential — both with the dogs and their people. I communicate clearly, keep owners updated with photos and messages, and aim to make every visit feel reliable, calm, and positive for your pet.

About: I've had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember – mostly rescues – and each one has taught me something new about love, patience, and the joy of companionship. While my current circumstances mean I can't have a dog of my own right now, dog sitting lets me share that same care and affection with pups who need a home away from home. I treat every dog like family, offering a calm, loving environment where they feel safe, seen, and thoroughly spoiled. Your dog won’t just be watched – they’ll be genuinely cared for, as if they were my own. I currently work part time, with flexible working arrangements depending on week to week. So in my free time I’d love to share it with your wonderful pets! I love being outside & walking anyway, so a 4 legged companion would make the perfect addition. Caring for dogs in their own home means maintaining their routine, surroundings, and sense of security – which is especially comforting for more sensitive or anxious pets. I take the time to understand each dog’s habits, from feeding schedules to favorite toys and walking routes, so I can offer consistent, personalized care while you’re away. Whether it’s cuddles on the couch, playtime in the garden, or simply keeping them company, I aim to make them feel relaxed and happy in the place they know best. Respecting both your home and your dog’s needs is always my top priority.

“I have never used this service before, always had a neighbour call in. However due to her illness I needed an alternative. After reading the Rover website I decided to give you a try for a short break. I will definitely be using you again. Belle loved Helen on her initial meet up visit. I knew she would get visits at set regular times. Helen even came early following storms to check she was ok. Belle loves company so she would get plenty of this. She loved her strokes and cuddles. If anything was wrong I knew I would be informed. Such as when she was not eating. I could then offer advice. Seeing daily photos of Belle confirmed she was ok and happy. I even thought she would be disappointed when we came home. Thanks again Helen. We will no doubt see you again.”

About: I love my two little ones. I would definitely have more if I could afford. I love all dogs. Love to spend time with 💕 I am working from home. Free weekends and weekdays after 3pm when I finish work. Happy to spend time with your little ones when I'm free. I give them lots of love and care and they get it. I have built relationship with my little ones based on love and affection.

“We used Molly for 2 drop in sessions to feed our cat while on a weekend away - could not fault her at all! Molly provided excellent care for him and gave us detailed updates, even remembering little details from the meet and greet session, I 100% recommend Molly and will definitely book her again!”

About: I love dogs and I have experience working with them and other animals, such as racehorses. I enjoy building a relationship with animals, especially dogs, and I am sure it will be clear to see that any dogs who stay with me will enjoy their time. They will get plenty of attention in a nice, peaceful, relaxed home. 3 walks daily. I don't have a garden, just a back yard. However, there are great walking opportunities right outside my house. A great alternative to kennels, one on one attention with no other dogs or kids. I work from home daily. I have a lot of flexibility within my job which makes it easy to care for a dog at the same time. One on one, just me and your dog, no loud noises, kids or other animals. Would suit a slightly anxious dog that needs a quiet, relaxing environment, as opposed to going into kennels. I only take one dog at a time, would consider two from the same family however.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats ever since I was born, in total I’ve looked after 3 sausage dogs, a foxhound and a cat called Lucy! I take them on walks, bathe them and give them lots of cuddles I’m currently working part time as a Researcher for Northumbria Police and I work from home (except for Thursdays). My usual shift patterns are 11-3 Monday to Friday (Tues -12:30-16:30). So I have a lot of spare time to look after your furry friends! I have a relatively large front and back garden and I’m happy to take them on walks every couple of hours as I love going on walks for fresh air. I also live 10 minutes away from chase park so happy to let them roam there for a couple of hours to get some fresh air! I don’t mind if they have an accident in the house, which animal doesn’t from time to time! My house is big enough for any type of dog to roam and play and we always make sure the house is clean and nothing that could cause injury is out

About: There’s never been a time in my life where i have not lived without pets. I grew up in a household that was pet crazy with many different pets from hamsters to horses. I have been brought up around very big dog breeds, and also small dog breeds. I moved out from my parents when i was 18 and went on to get my own two large breed dogs and four cats. The house i currently live in is very big and used to be two flats, so conveniently the house can be sectioned off into two still, meaning if your pet doesn’t want to be around mine, that is easily done. I am self employed and work when i like to, so i can fit around and requests that you need for me to take care of your pets:) I can offer many different types of services for your fur babies, whether this be taking them out for multiple walks, having a good play of tug of war with them, letting them play with my pets (completely up to you) or even bathing/ washing them. If your pet has and dietary needs or medication they need, i’m very responsible to take care of that.
