“Absolutely! Here’s a five-star review for Richard: --- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can't recommend Richard enough! He looked after my French Bulldog and Doberman with such care and attention. Every time he came in, he made sure they were fed, took them out for their bathroom breaks, and even sent me adorable, up-to-date photos that put my mind at ease while I was away. Richard also left a lovely message after each visit, sharing his feedback and letting me know how my pups were doing. It was clear that he genuinely cares for them and treats them like his own. I felt completely reassured knowing they were in such great hands. Thank you, Richard, for your fantastic service! I will definitely be using you again in the future!”

About: I have had dogs my whole life and we love them and 15 years ago we started to do holiday boarding in our home as we find it’s nicer than kennels.. plenty of cuddles plenty of walks and attention given There’s always someone home to play with your pooch so they are never alone. We stick to your feed routines that you do wish. Cuddles all day Fenced garden, happy to crate if you wish. I have my own sausage dog who loves to play.. we have older children who are dog lovers and join in with the walking

About: Hi, I'm Sophie — a lifelong dog lover with 14 years of hands-on experience caring for a wide range of breeds, from energetic collies to cuddly Frenchies. You will often find me cooing over different dogs on our walks. But what truly sets me apart is the personal, heartfelt care I provide. I treat every dog as if they were my own. As with my beloved mini dachshund, Twiggy, who comes everywhere with me. Her joyful personality, friendly nature, and constant tail-wagging are often remarked on — a reflection of the happy, calm environment I create. My approach blends structure with love. I understand how important routines are for dogs, and I always follow your guidance closely to make sure your pup feels safe and secure. I bring more than just treats and snuffle mats (though I have plenty of those!) — I offer genuine affection, attentive care, and a cozy second home while you're away, but also with lots of fun videos or pictures for you throughout the day. Professionally, I work for a wildlife charity where I coordinate hundreds of volunteers — so I’m used to being compassionate, organised, responsible, and reliable. Dog parents often tell me I create a special bond with their pets — and my regulars say it best in their glowing reviews. Feel free to check these out for yourself or why not book a meet and greet? When your dog stays with me, they’re not just being looked after — they’re being loved. I treat my dog as an extension of myself where I will always try to bring them as much as possible wherever I go. I work from home every day mostly except Wednesdays. My work is very flexible and I make sure to take breaks with enrichment games, a walk and short bursts of training through the day in short intervals. I'll follow your pet's routine as closely as possible to minimise any disruption to their daily life. This includes feeding them on schedule, taking them for walks in familiar surroundings, and maintaining any training or medication routines you have in place. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing that your furry friend is happy and well-cared for. We live in a house with a secure garden and I’m not fussy with dogs on sofa but will follow your routine if that’s not allowed at home. Twiggy is quite playful but super friendly and not jealous. Likes all breeds of dogs which is because of how hard I’ve worked with early socialisation! If your dog needs a break I have baby gates across our home which is never an issue so they can also have some personal alone time. So important to catch up on the snoozes!

“Sophie popped in to look after our dogs while we were on holiday and our regular sitter was busy. She sent lots of pics and kept us updated. Happy with her service.”

About: I've been walking and boarding dogs for a number of years now for friends & family as well as through Rover. I love having a dog in the house , goi g for lots of walks locally , playtime and cuddles . Owners feel reassured and comfortable leaving their dog with me while they're away, busy and need help getting the dog out for exercise or on holiday. I am self employed and work from home most days and my schedule is flexible throughout the week and at weekends. I like to walk each morning and or/afternoon to get breaks from work. My children are here after school most days and every other weekend and would join us for walks and playing. I have a pretty large fenced garden for playing and we have a number of parks local to us as well as the riverside for walks. I can drive to local parks , the children love to get involved playing with the dogs and we love nothing more than snuggles on the sofa in the evenings.

“Lara was just what we were looking for… a local animal lover to look after our precious Tilly. Thank you Lara”

“Hayley did a fantastic job of looking after both my cat and dog. She is very confident and caring with both of them and I completely trust they are in good hands”

About: I have had both dogs and cats throughout my whole life. This combined with my professional experience means I am happy to care for all animals! I’m currently have some time off over the summer before I start my job in mid-September so I am very flexible at the moment ! I am a responsible and trustworthy individual. I have experience working/caring for dogs and cats with many different requirements so I am capable of adapting my care to animals with different needs.

About: Though I don't have a dog at the moment, I grew up with a dog in the family and have been frequently called upon to look after the dogs of my families, friends, neighbours - even my landlord at times! I love spending quality time giving the dogs lots of attention. I also like to reinforce training, such as by practicing commands or discouraging problem behaviours. I work remotely and on a flexible schedule, so morning and evenings are quite open for me. Weekends are also generally free, and I particularly enjoy spending time hiking or being outdoors so having a dog to to accompany me makes it even more fun. When I'm out on walks with the dogs, I generally prefer routes with more space and quiet areas; I generally avoid tight sidewalks or crowded areas if possible to ensure they don't get nervous. I generally don't do off-lead unless it's in an enclosed park with no strangers (people or animals) around. When at home, I follow house rules to the letter - you can trust I won't be swayed by puppy-eyes if they know they aren't allowed on the couch!

About: We regularly look after a 7 year old golden retriever for a family friend which involves regular walks, feeding and bathing. We love to give her lots of attention and play time! We have been trusted to look after her when the family are away for long periods of time on holiday on a regular basis. My partner and I currently work full-time but we have days where we work from home to take your dogs out on walks, drop in for feeding or play time! This usually includes Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays and we’re also flexible at the weekends. In the weekdays where we do not work from home, we are available for dogs walks or drop ins in the evenings from 7pm - 9pm. Doggy day care is available at your home on Wednesdays and the weekends. We are also able to dog sit at your home overnight as we do regularly with the golden retriever, we are unable to accept dogs at our home as we currently live in a small shared annex. We are able to care for your dog at your home in whatever way works best for your dog. We could use a crate if needed. We do not own any other dogs but would love to keep your doggy company

About: I have always had dogs and cats as pets growing up and as an adult have always had cats and dogs. My family all have dogs so I walk and look after their dogs when needed. We had a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for 14 years and we now have a rescue Springer Spaniel from Battersea called Tilly who is very friendly and loves other dogs. Dogs are family and your dog will be treated as I treat my own, with lots of kindness, love and care. I have plenty of quiet spaces with comfy places for your dog to rest and have some peace when they want it as well as a large garden for them to explore and play in. I will carefully follow your care plan and instructions for your pet so that they feel happy, relaxed and well cared for. I am Canine 1st aid trained, canine behaviour trained and DBS checked. I am home every day so I am able to be flexible where possible so message me with any requests and I will do my best to help if I am able to. We have a large garden with 5 foot fencing all round so fully secure. Lots of lawned area and a wooded part at the back of the garden. There is a summer house and in nice weather the doors are open for any dogs that want to have a sleep in the shade on one of the sofas in there. In the house there are 3 rooms with sofas and a couple of dog beds so that your dog will have a choice of where they feel comfortable sleeping. When walking your dog they will be lead walked on a long line lead so that they can enjoy freedom to explore but it enables me to ensure that your dog remains safe. Please let me know about any behaviour traits and what your dogs routine is so that I can ensure they are comfortable and happy.

“Esme is a great dog Walker. Communication was easy, the meet & greet with our labradoodle was good. She connected to our dog so easily. Will definitely book her again”

About: Always been a lover of animals. Been taking care of pets ever since I was legal age to look after them. From looking after rabbits to dogs and cats. However I do have a preference to snakes. I’m self employed. This would be another great opportunity to add to my flexible schedule - Week days or weekends would be great for me and you too. I have fed cats in their own homes once in the morning and once in the evening. I have also looked after a dog in my own homes as well which I have no problem with because I have enough space where I live. Having a car also helps too because I can drive around to parks where a dog could play and be happy.
