“We cannot ask for a better cat sitter than Allie for our 3 fluffy boys while we were on holiday, including giving our cat Oscar his insulin injection twice a day. Allie sent us regular updates and adorable pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was always responsive to any questions we had, and it was clear that our cats felt completely at ease with her. Knowing they were in such safe hands made our trip all the more enjoyable. If you are looking for a reliable, caring, and professional pet sitter, I cannot recommend Allie enough.”

About: My family always had a dog when I was growing up, along with other pets. I attended dog (owner) training classes and learned the skills of dog training. As I've grown-up I've continued to own dogs, and understand the stress of leaving a pet home alone when going to work, or out to a place you can't take your dog. I am experienced with puppies, mature, and senior dogs. I am winding down my business and have more time on my hands to serve people like you who need help in ensuring their pet is comfortable, and looked after when they are at home on their own. I ensure your best friend is fed, walked, and given water to their agreed routines. I learn and follow your rules when in your house, and when walking your dog. I only walk one client's dog(s) at a time, on routes you are comfortable with, and they get my total attention.

About: Hi! My name is Murron, and I’ve spent my whole life surrounded by animals. I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs- border collies will always have a special place in my heart! I currently work at a boarding and daycare kennel, where I care for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments every day. Whether it’s feeding, walking, grooming, or just giving them the love they deserve, animals are a huge part of my life. I also work part-time for the Scottish SPCA, working with animals that have had difficult upbringings. I’ve been a trusted pet sitter for friends and family for years, looking after everything from energetic puppies to senior cats who need a little extra care. I'm confident handling pets with different needs and behaviours, and I always treat every furry friend as if they were my own. Your pet's safety and happiness are my top priorities. Whether it’s a drop-in visit, walk, or overnight stay, I’m here to make sure your furry friend feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Let me know how I can help — I look forward to meeting you and your pets! My current routine is working part time to full time but with a pretty flexible schedule and the timings of my jobs means I’m always free in the evenings! Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in a pet owner's home, I always aim to create a safe, calm, and loving environment that suits each animal’s unique needs and routine. My experience working in kennels and with the Scottish SPCA means I’m confident handling pets with a wide range of temperaments, ages, and care requirements. In a pet owner's home, I make sure to stick closely to the routine their pet is used to—mealtimes, walk schedules, playtime, and any special care instructions. I respect the space, keep things clean and secure, and send regular updates so you know your pet is in good hands. My top priorities are safety, consistency, and making sure every pet feels at ease and cared for like one of my own.

About: Having grown up in the Shropshire countryside, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes - from chihuahuas to German shepherds! I also raised my own cocker spaniel from puppy into her senior years. I’m active and up for taking dogs for as long a walk as they need, willing to play and keep their minds engaged, but also happy to sit and give them the cuddles and company they need. I work flexible hours from home, so I can work around your pet’s needs and keep them company. I can get up as early and stay up as late as needed. Your pet and home safety comes first - I’m responsible and careful with closing/locking doors, keeping the dog either on the lead or writhing recall distance (depending on your dog!) and keeping them out of situations that make them feel uncomfortable. I have also cared for dogs with dietary restrictions so I’m happy to help in those areas too!

About: I'm Jess, and dogs are my absolute world. I've always had dogs in my life. As well as agility training, I'm also an experienced obedience handler, skills trainer and Pets as Therapy handler. I am an all-weather dog walker, offering tailored walks to suit your dogs needs. Whether it's a short round-the-block followed by fun and games at home, or a longer run to burn off some excess energy, there really is no walk too big or small. Experienced and confident with reactive dogs, sensitive dogs, high-energy dogs, and everything in between, I pride myself on my ability to understand dog behaviour. I will let your dog get to know me at their own pace, and only ever use positive, motivating, reward-based training. I cannot wait to meet you and your four-legged pals As a teacher my availability is pretty much matched to school term dates, with evenings, weekends and school holidays being the best times for me to visit, walk and look after your dogs. I'm delighted to be able to accommodate dog boarding and house-sitting so that you can provide your dogs with the bespoke care they need while you are away. For those that come to me I offer a lovely house with a secure garden, and a real home-from-home experience. Equally happy coming to you, I am a clean, tidy, quiet and respectful guest.

“Absolutely amazing. We could not have asked for more in terms of genuine care and support for our kittie cats while away. Amie is a lovely, trustworthy individual with a strong sense compassion and understanding for animals. She attended our cats daily and took good care of them while meeting their needs restlessly. We would definitively recommend and ask for her help again in the near future!”

About: Our names are Tess and Sean and we are lifelong dog-lovers, having grown up and cared for family dogs. We don't currently have a dog but take every opportunity to spend time with family and friends' dogs. We work from home throughout the week and have flexible working schedules. We would love a four-legged friend for walks, house sitting and drop ins. Your dog will have a safe and loving care within your home or on a walk. We know the Edinburgh area inside and out and would be happy to talk with you about your dog care needs.

“I am absolutely delighted with the fantastic care that Sarah provided for Loki, Oscar, and Ziggy. From the moment she entered our home, it was evident that she has a genuine love and understanding for cats. Sarah's attention to detail was impeccable. She followed all the instructions I provided for each of my cats, ensuring they received the proper care, food, and playtime they needed. Oscar and Ziggy immediately warmed up to her, and it was heartwarming to see them enjoy her company so much. I want to extend a sincere apology to Sarah for Loki's shyness. Loki tends to be a bit shy and timid around new people, and I'm sorry if he made things a little challenging. Sarah also went above and beyond by sending me regular updates and adorable pictures of my cats during her visits. It definitely eased my mind knowing that they were in such caring hands while I was away. I wholeheartedly recommend Sarah to anyone in need of a responsible and loving cat sitter. She's a true professional, and I wouldn't hesitate to book her services again in the future. Thank you, Sarah, for taking such wonderful care of Loki, Oscar, and Ziggy.”

“Just what we needed for Pandora - a reliable and friendly daily drop-in sitter. Many thanks Harriet.”

If you are looking for a patient, kind and conscientious dog sitter, my recommendation for Bryan could not go higher!”

Murron B.
“I couldn’t be happier with the care Murron provided for our golden retriever and two older cats. Sam is a big ball of energy who needs lots of exercise and attention, while Willow and Wren prefer their space and a quiet routine. Murron seemed to balance both perfectly! Thank you Murron!”

Jessica S.
“Jessica is trustworthy, reliable and caring, and she loves and understand dogs. She is one of only two people I trust with my own dogs' care and well-being. (the other person lives 300 miles away!) As well as walking, feeding and over-night stays, her care includes administering eye drops to one of my dogs three times a day. She is mindful of the varying temperaments of different dogs and how this affects their behaviour and needs. She would offer love, care and understanding to any dog in her care.”

Leah F.
“Leah was my saviour! After being diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis in my hips, I was at a loss how to walk my Siberian Husky. She was a 10 year old rescue and had many issues of trust because she had been so badly abused by her previous owner. Leah's diligence, kind and patient nature - helped them to build a beautiful friendship and bond, Leah was with my amazing girl until the end aged 15. Leah has a great understanding of a dogs nature and body language which was vital to me. I would highly recommend Leah. She has high work ethics and has a genuine love for animals, big and small. She will take great care of your loved pooch as if it were her own.”
