About: I've interacted with dogs all my life. I have always had a special connection with dogs. I have experience with dogs from weeks old all the way to the ripe old age of 16 years old. I have trained rescue dogs with aggression issues, including older dogs like Charlie, my departed Collie who I rescued when he was 10 years old. He went from aggressive on the lead to walking safely off the lead within 6 months. I am a live at home carer and will be attending University from September for my postgraduate studies. I am incredibly flexible and have plenty free time. This will change somewhat come September, but much of my studying will be done at home allowing for a flexibility. I live in the perfect place for dogs. I have a fenced garden and live 500 feet from Broughty Ferry's stunning waterfront which offers a variety of stunning walks to take pooch's on.

About: Hi! My name is Micaela, and I'm a dedicated and loving pet caregiver with a passion for dogs of all breeds and personalities. I have 8 years of experience in dog sitting, walking, feeding, and providing plenty of playtime and affection. Whether it's a high-energy pup who loves long walks or a senior dog who needs a little extra TLC, I tailor my care to meet each dog’s unique needs. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member. I treat every dog as if they were my own—with patience, consistency, and lots of love. I'm also comfortable with basic training reinforcement, special diets, and multi-dog households. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I strive to provide peace of mind while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your dog! Since I work part-time and have the flexibility to set my own hours, I can easily adjust my schedule to accommodate pet care. This allows me to give pets the attention and care they need without feeling rushed. On a daily or weekly basis, I prioritize the pets in my care just like I would my own family. Whether it’s taking them for long walks, feeding them on schedule, or spending quality time with them, I ensure that their routine is maintained, even when their owners are away. The flexibility in my work schedule makes it easy to adapt to any pet’s needs. When caring for pets in their owner's home, I prioritise maintaining a consistent routine to ensure the pets feel safe and comfortable. I follow all instructions provided by the pet owner, whether it’s about feeding times, medication, or any special care requirements. I’m mindful of the pet’s environment, making sure their favorite spots, toys, and routines are maintained so they feel at ease while their owner is away. In addition to providing basic care like feeding, walking, and playing, I also ensure that the home stays tidy and that any necessary chores (such as bringing in the mail or watering plants) are taken care of. If a pet has specific behavior needs or training, I work to reinforce positive habits and provide mental stimulation through interactive play. Most importantly, I make sure to give the pet lots of love, attention, and companionship, so they don’t feel lonely or stressed. I regularly send updates or photos to the owner to keep them informed and reassured while they’re away.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was a little girl. We have always had dogs in my family so I understand that they are members of the family. I know what it means to leave your pet in the care of someone else so I will always do it with all the care and love that they need, keeping you up to date with everything that happens. I have an 8-year-old dog named Bono with whom we have lived in Chile, France, and now Scotland (and we have also traveled to many countries together). I recently moved to Dundee and I have a lot of availability to take care of pets and walk dogs. I’m passionate about animals and have a dog of my own, so I understand how important it is to make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and exercise. I’m available throughout the week to walk dogs, pet-sit, and offer any other care your pet needs. Whether it's a long walk or just some quality time at home, I’m here to help! I also offer weekend availability for more flexible scheduling. I can take your dog on walks multiple times a day. I believe that regular exercise is important for every dog, and I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of outdoor time and attention. Inside your home, I make sure your dog feels safe, calm, and in a friendly environment. If your pet has any special needs, such as taking medication, I’m more than happy to follow any specific instructions to ensure their well-being.

About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life and grew up surrounded by them. Caring for pets is not just a job—it’s a passion. I provide reliable, loving, and attentive care tailored to each dog’s needs. Your furry friend will be safe, happy, and treated like family in my care. As a grad student with a flexible schedule, pet care fits perfectly into my daily and weekly routine. Whether in my home or yours, your dog’s safety and comfort come first. I create a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where they can feel relaxed and secure. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a small child (me in the pic aged 3!) and for the last 2+ years I’ve also been dog walking as a volunteer for Dundee City Council’s Brown Street Kennels. I have experience of many breeds of dogs from Dashunds, Pugs and Shih Tzus, to German Shepherds, Pointers and Lurchers, and am confident with all types of dogs. I am available 7 days a week, from early to late, to fit in with whatever your requirements are. I live near to Baxter Park so there’s plenty of space for good exercise, and I’m very fit if longer walks are needed. I offer all services and can travel to anywhere in Central Dundee or Broughty Ferry. I live alone and have been in the same flat for nearly 9 years, and there is an enclosed garden, but I prefer going to the park.

About: Christine and Madison are a mother-daughter due that started pet sitting on a regular basis several years ago when our 2 beautiful Cavalier King Charles passed away after 14 years of being an important part of our family. Since moving to the UK I have kept with it, sitting other dogs is great for me and the pup alike! Every person thinks their dog is the BEST DOG- and they’re not wrong! I have pet sit for puppies that needed training is the early stages to ensure they learn good habits, as well as specializing in senior care. Not only do I enjoy caring for puppies, we understand the specific needs of older pets, providing gentle exercise, and offering extra comfort & attention. A calm & patient demeanor helps pets feel at ease. Whether it's playful energy for the young dogs or tender care for the seniors, I’m dedicated to providing the best possible experience for your furry family members. We have a flexible schedule and can be home most days, ensuring someone is home for your pet if required, on request in advance. Get the best of what pet sitting can offer by hiring me. Taking care of a pet requires a thoughtful balance of time, effort, and love. I am a PHd student with a lot of flexibility in my schedule. MORNING: I am available for morning walks to ensure your dog starts the day with the exercise they need- it’s a healthy start for us too! AFTERNOON: Throughout the day, short breaks are dedicated to playtime, engaging your pet with their favorite toys and activities to keep them mentally stimulated and happy. Socialization is another key aspect, so visits to the dog park or playdates with other pets are a common feature, fostering a sense of community and companionship for your pet. EARLY EVENING: Many owners worry about getting home on time to let their dog out, let us take care of that for you- so that when you do get home you can relax & enjoy your time with your pet. These activities not only cater to your pet's physical needs but also contribute significantly to their emotional well-being, creating a harmonious and fulfilling day for both you & your dog. WE DO NOT PROVIDE: Grooming & health checks. For in-home pet care, it's essential to create a safe & comfortable environment for your pet. I pet-proof our home to eliminate any hazards. Ensure that all necessary supplies, such as food, water, toys, and bedding, are readily available. Follow a consistent feeding and exercise schedule to maintain their routine, and provide plenty of love and attention. If I am pet-sitting in a pet owner's home, communication is key. I begin with a detailed consultation to understand the pet's needs, preferences, and any special instructions. Make sure to adhere to the pet's usual schedule and habits as closely as possible. Keep the pet owner updated with regular messages or photos to reassure them that their beloved pet is in good hands. In both scenarios, I am observant of the pet's behavior and health. I look out for any signs of distress or illness and be prepared to seek veterinary care if needed. Remember, our goal is to make the pet feel loved, secure, and happy, whether they are in your home or ours.

About: I have two small dogs the oldest is 13 and youngest 9 (they do not live with me), I have also looked after family and friends dogs when needed. Me and at times my daughter would love the opportunity to interact and look after your fur babies, we would give them the love, care and attention they deserve, she is dog daft and they always seem to feel very calm around her. I work from home 3 days a week and in the office 2 days. I can look after your dog in your home as long as it has wifi as this allows me to work from my laptop. My daughter has a few clubs during the week but apart from this I am free most nights for those of you who work shifts to do walks and care for them. I would follow what you would like me to do with your dog and If there is a preferred route or area you would like me to take your dog I also drive and have safety seatbelts for dogs in my car. With my own dogs they are walked twice a day and have access to a garden all day.

About: I am currently a registered pet fosterer with Pet Fostering Service Scotland and grew up in a house full of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits and rodents. Dog training and dog agility was something I took part in with 2 of my dogs growing up and I enjoy that aspect of dog ownership. I have owned a labrador, border terrier and German shepherd so got experience with a range of breeds. I volunteered in a vets when I was younger so was exposed to medical care for animals and used to administering medication as needed. Also have plenty experience with cats, small animals and horses. As a medical student, I have a fairly flexible schedule with majority of my lectures and work being online and self-guided. This means I can fit my work around other responsibilities and allows me to care for animals. I am in a flat but have grassy areas outside it and a park just a couple of minutes walk away. I am happy to continue with crate training if needed as well as any other on-going training including during walks.

About: Hi! My name's Maria and I loveloveloooove dogs. All dogs. Dogs of all kinds. They're the absolute best. My earliest childhood memory is of my dad bringing a puppy home when I was about 2 years old. It was so fantastic that it brought my consciousness online. Basil lived all the way up to 20 years old and growing up, my family always kept dogs so I'm used to them being around. A house just doesn't feel like a home without one. In March this year my sweet boy, Dexter, had to be put to sleep. You can see him in my profile pictures, he was such a good boy (they're all good boys). There's a bit of a void now I don't have him around and it'd be lovely to take care of dogs again. As a dog lover I know how precious they are and I promise you I will treat them as my own, while they stay with me they'll be part of the family. As well as 30 years of experience being around dogs on a pretty much daily basis, I'm in the process of studying canine psychology so that I can offer training as part of my services. All dogs are different and many of them have 'quirks' that can make caring for them a little more complicated, I'd love to help with that side of things especially. I offer complete one-on-one care. Whilst with me, your dog will have my undivided company and attention. I offer a more focused service because it's better for certain dogs, particularly those who aren't used to being around multiple animals or who are perhaps just a bit needier and want more attention. This allows me to give 100% to the dogs I care for. I work from home as an artist (pet portraits mainly) so my schedule is very flexible and I'm always present to keep an eye on everything and keep them company. They won't be left unattended at any point really and I can accomodate most requests. There's a small, securely fenced garden at the back that I have access to, but there's also lots of green spaces pretty much on my doorstep. Since I'm working at home I can pop out multiple times whenever needed to let them do their business and have a sniff around - so the small garden is no bother at all. I can drive and I'm happy to have dogs in my car, so we can also drive out to explore some nice countryside walks. I'll send you regular updates and pictures so you know how they're doing and can have peace of mind.

About: I’ve had a family dog for the past 12 years who I was responsible for prior to moving out of home and was brought up around a variety of different animals. Ever since leaving home I have missed looking after friends dogs and cats. Since my schedule doesn’t allow for having a pet of my own I am passionate about looking after other people’s animals and enjoying their company. I love going on long walks and snuggling on the couch. I currently work part time as a nurse three days a week, so I have ample free time to dedicate to pets on my days off. I love keeping fit and active so going on walks is already part of my routine. I like exploring new places and would love to take pets with me. With living in a flat, I ensure pets have plenty of trips to use the garden. They are more than welcome to bring their toys and home comforts and will always have availability to fresh food and water as per their needs. Depending on owner choice, pets can sleep in their bed, crate, or in the bedroom.

About: I grew up with animals (two bumbling labs and a ferocious Siamese cat), and I can't imagine life without them. The world is better with pets, and I bring this attitude to every moment I spent in their company. As an experienced extracurricular drama teacher I have a strong sense of responsibility and care as well as a real love of having fun! My natural habitats include the great outdoors, gardens, and of courser armchairs and sofas. I'm a freelance writer and creative, so my schedule is usually completely flexible and I'm open to any dates and times - pets come first! I consider being invited into a pet's home a pretty big deal, and I take my guest etiquette very seriously! I'm very considerate and will always make sure to leave a home exactly as I left it, while following careful instruction to make sure your animal is comfortable, happy and looked after in my care.

Diego is an amazing dog caregiver. Since I have known him (6 years), he has always taken good care of his own dog. He treats dogs with respect and love. Some years ago, we adopted a dog; he trained him and was always very aware of his well-being. I have seen how he combines playing and having fun, with respect and organization. If I have to say this in one sentence, he is the lord of the dogs.

He was brought up with German Short Haired Pointers (GSP’s) Suzie, Logan and Lucy, and a Jack Russell terrier Max. Lucy was William’s best friend whilst he was growing up and he looked after her extremely well. He has walked many breeds of stray dogs for Dundee’s Brown Street Kennels for the last 2 years, in all weathers. You can be very sure that you can trust William with your dog.

Christine and Andrew are incredible with animals—they provide such loving, playful, and affectionate care. My babies are always delighted to roll on the floor with Andrew or receive cuddles from Christine. Christine and Andrew are reliable and trustworthy. You can rest knowing that your companions and home are in good hands. I highly recommended Christine and Andrew for dedicated and compassionate pet care!"

Maria is the greatest dog sitter I've ever had. She gives amazing belly rubs and likes to sit on the floor with me. I do not understand why she is not always looking after me. I would like to trade in my humans - they are house trained, give good pets and take me on nice walks but just aren't Maria. All my doggy friends should have an Aunt Maria. Woof (in case you didn't get this was from a dog's point of view)

I've known Isaac over a year now and my 2 Huskies love their walks with him and his dog sitting service. They are both always excited to see him and tired out by the time they come back, when it comes to his dog sitting they are both relaxed and happy in his company. Isaac is very patient and caring towards their needs, as sometimes Huskies can be a bit demanding and stubborn than other breeds. Highly recommended and trustworthy.
