“Thank you Katie. I don’t have kids but I have had feeling reading my kid kindergarten’s performance notes every day. Katie has been very caring and supportive, helping me clean and keep my home tidy. Really sweet and reliable cat sitter.”

About: I’ve grown up with all types of animals my whole life, which helps growing up on a farm. From early mornings feeding the chickens to late nights cuddles with the family dogs. I have previously look after many of my friends and family’s animals, mainly dogs. I have also done search and rescue with my German Shepard, chunky. I’m currently a uni student and a part time bartender. I’m really missing my animals at home so thought this would be a great opportunity to get me out the house. I will always crack the doors open slightly making sure no animals escape before entering. I will always tend to all the animals needs no matter the circumstances.

About: A Lifetime of Loving and Caring for Dogs I’ve never known life without dogs — they’ve always been at the heart of my home. Over the years, I’ve raised and cared for four wonderful dogs of various breeds, from sight hounds to gun dogs, guiding them from playful puppies to their golden years. Currently, my fiancé (Jack) and I have a one-year-old Golden Retriever named Bonnie, who we’ve raised since she was just 8 weeks old. Bonnie is full of energy and joy, and we keep her mind and body active with weekly obedience and agility classes, along with long, fun-filled walks. We live just a short walk from a popular dog-friendly park and are only a quick drive away from beautiful walking spots like Calke Abbey and Kedleston Country Park — perfect for dogs who love exploring. I’ve also cared for friends’ and family dogs many times, treating them as my own. More than once, we’ve been told their dogs didn’t want to leave — and that’s the best compliment we could ask for. With years of hands-on experience, a deep love for dogs, and a calm, dog-friendly home, I’d love the chance to care for your pup like part of our family. We also have a secure garden where your pup can safely explore, play, or relax throughout the day. Pet care is an important part of our daily routine and something we’ve truly built our lives around. Although my fiancé and I both work full-time Monday to Friday, our workplace is only a short walk from home. This allows us to return during lunch breaks — often at different times — to let our Golden Retriever, Bonnie, out for toilet breaks and to check in on her throughout the day. We start every morning early with a trip to the local park, where Bonnie can burn off energy and enjoy some focused obedience training. These sessions help keep her mentally sharp and physically fulfilled before we leave for work. While we’re away, we leave enrichment activities like lick mats and puzzle feeders to keep her stimulated, and we’ve installed doggy cameras downstairs so we can keep a close eye on her during the day. Bonnie is surprisingly calm for her age and breed — a reflection of the consistent training we’ve done since she was a puppy. She’s very settled in our home, even without our presence, and loves nothing more than curling up on the conservatory sofa to bask in the sun and nap. We have a secure garden where your pup can safely explore, play, or relax throughout the day. We’re happy to board your dog(s) on weekends from Friday evening through Sunday night. If care is needed during the week, we’re open to discussing options with enough notice. Your dog will always be treated like one of our own, with a calm and secure environment, tailored attention, and plenty of affection. Bonnie is fully house trained, was previously crate trained, and now has full access to the house (with no chewing in sight!). She’s a gentle, friendly companion and would be great company for your dog. We also have her old large crate available if your pup prefers a cozy, safe space of their own. We’re just a short walk from a lovely local park frequented by dog walkers, and a quick drive from some beautiful walking spots like Calke Abbey and Kedleston Country Park. After long muddy walks, we’re always happy to give your dog a wash before they settle back in. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. We treat every pet as if they were our own. At home, we provide a calm, dog-friendly environment with plenty of structure, affection, and attention. Our house is secure and safe, with a fully enclosed garden where dogs can explore and play freely under supervision. We’ve also installed dog cameras downstairs so we can keep an eye on things at all times. Bonnie, our well-trained and gentle Golden Retriever, is a wonderful companion for visiting dogs. She’s calm, friendly, and well-socialized thanks to ongoing training and regular exposure to new dogs and situations. We follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, whether that means specific feeding times, crate training, medication, or special walks. For dogs that feel more comfortable with their own space, we’re happy to set up Bonnie’s old large crate as a quiet, secure area. Walks are always done on-lead in safe environments like our local park or nearby countryside trails (such as Calke Abbey and Kedleston Country Park), and we tailor the length and intensity based on your dog’s age, breed, and energy level. Trust is everything when it comes to caring for your pet. We’ll keep you updated with photos, messages, and honest communication so you can feel confident and at ease while your dog is in our care. We want them to feel safe, relaxed, and loved — just like they do at home.

About: My love of animals came at an early age. Since I can remember, I always had cats and later on had experience keeping other animals, like birds, rats and even a chick at one point! I have spent many years dog walking and sitting for friends and family, which gave me great experience of taking care of all kinds of dogs. I'm able to offer safe and active walks, keep up with ongoing training and provide basic health related care. I currently have 2 cats, Twist and Shadow; both rescued at a very early age with some early health issues, but both now grown up to be strong, crazy and very happy girls. I'm currently working part time between 10am and 2pm on weekdays. I'm able to offer walks/drop ins in the afternoons and evenings during the week, and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. I offer overnight pet sitting too, which includes an early morning walk for dogs. Pets feel by far the safest in their own homes, where they are familiar with the environment and feel at ease. I always ensure to keep their routine up and build up trust between us on their terms; giving them time and space. Being calm and patient is crucial and just as important as the love we give them.

She is an excellent communicator and checks in everyday with texts, photos, and short videos providing extra reassurance. If there is an emergency situation of any kind, Marcia will make every attempt to make contact more directly with a voice call. I'm very thankful I had Marcia looking after my cat.”

About: From tiny pups with endless energy to big, lovable dogs with gentle hearts — I’ve cared for them all. Dog walking and sitting isn’t just a job to me; it’s something I truly enjoy. I’m calm, dependable, and dogs naturally feel comfortable around me. Friends, neighbours, and family have trusted me for years because they know their pets are safe, happy, and loved in my care. I treat every dog like they’re part of my own pack. Pet care fits perfectly into my lifestyle. I’ll be doing this full time alongside my daily fitness routine, so staying active with your dog is a natural part of my day. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or relaxed company at home, I’ve got the time, energy, and love to give. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I provide a calm, secure environment with plenty of love, space, and attention. Whether I’m in your home or mine, I stick to your dog’s routine and needs. I’m happy to crate if needed, and I’m mindful of how each dog adjusts. My goal is to make them feel relaxed, safe, and at home, whether they’re here for a walk, a day, or a full stay.

About: I’ve had dogs all the way through my life from the age of around 8 years old! Just moved to Derby and with my family dog of 4 years being left with the parents in my home town I’d love to get out walking again with new furry friends! I currently work 8:30-5:30 but after that I’m completely free in the evenings and love walks so why not do it with some company! Weekends I’m free all the time and love getting my steps in. The safety of your dogs for me is top priority! Making sure they get the walks and care they need and of course the occasional treat

“Jess and Jong took care of Luna above and beyond, our dog is very scared of strangers but with them there was an immediate connection so we felt very happy and confident on leaving Luna with them, she surely will miss them but we will definitely request again their services. 100% recomendable 👍😊”

“Eve was very good and understanding. Have booked in to commence.”

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of dogs since i was young, being relied on by both family and friends to care, feed, walk and keep company of their pets. I am active so will happily accommodate to your dogs needs. I will treat your dog as-if they were my own! With plenty of photo updates throughout! I’m able to work from home and are currently in the look for a new job venture. I’m friendly and trusting and love to get out for long walks, hikes and adventures no matter the weather. I have a fenced back yard that’s connected to next doors (they’re joint with an opening) however the whole yard is enclosed from getting out on the street. Pets are allowed to roam around the house and happy for them to be on furniture - I will make your pet as comfortable as i can whilst they’re staying with me. Happy to work with the owner in caring for their pets the way they do to help keep up with routine.

“First time using a pet sitter and I am very pleased. Tasha was great, her communication throughout was very helpful and she sent regular updates of her visits while we were away which my children really enjoyed, and it gave myself piece of mind. I would definitely use Tasha again for our next holiday, by the end of the week our cat really enjoyed her company and this was obvious in the video updates Tasha sent us. Thank you 😊”

About: I (Tom) have recently moved to Derby from Staffordshire for work and miss my three dogs greatly. Ever since I was a baby I have grown up with cats, dogs, rabbits and gerbils so it was hard to leave all that behind when moving away. Currently, I am not prepared to have my own dog - financially speaking, so I figured this would be a great way to meet some new animals and their owners. I am very active, running up to 5 times per week and regularly taking long walks. I particularly enjoy visiting the national trust sites local to Derby. I work full time but work from home a minimum of 3 days per week and am free most weekends. My girlfriend, Eloise also lives with me part time and loves animals - so she will care for your pets should I be called into the office! I go for a walk every morning, every lunch time and every evening already so I plan that I will just take your pets along with me. Ordinarily, in the morning and lunch time I will visit the parks local to me and then in the evening I will venture further afield, often going to Darley park, Markeaton park, Calke Abbey and Kedleston hall as I am a national trust member. I am used to caring for animals with regards to feeding routines and am usually up around 5:30am until 10pm so can cater to any specific schedules. I absolutely love animals and will give them lots of fuss and affection. I will provide daily updates and photos so that you can keep up with how they are doing whilst you enjoy your well deserved time off! I will also bathe them free of charge should they get muddy or wet on any of our walks and provide lots of free treats

About: Until I can be a real dog mum, caring for yours will do! My partner and I have just got back from volunteering at an animal shelter in South Africa, taking care of 30+ dogs. I have two cats at home that are my babies! Happy to pop over and give your furry housemate some fuss, a walk, a good play or just some company. 🐾 I'm self employed, and this is always a quieter time of year for my work as an entertainer. Happy to spend this time with animals, it's an excuse for me to get outside for a long walk 🥰 I'm unable to board your pets in our home however I can come by your house to feed, play, fuss and walk your dog and/or feed/wait on your cat 🐈

About: I have had dogs and cats all my life, as well as looked after farm animals. I've frequently sat for friends and family, and have fostered animals through local charities. I work hybrid and have access to a car which can accommodate medium-'smaller' large dogs. I am able to travel to homes to do pet visits, and house sit. Please note I can't sit for dogs that have aggression or are very large (mastiff, Cane Corso, etc) due to safety reasons. I do however have lots of experience with dogs and cats with health needs. I have a fully enhanced DBS.
