“I’m very happy that I chose Jamie to look after my cat, with twice daily check-ins. He let me know when he started and ended each visit, kept me updated with loads of photos/messages. I would absolutely recommend Jamie, he seems a real animal lover and the experience meant a weight off my mind that my cat was being cared for without all the stress associated with leaving him in a cattery. Thanks so much Jamie!”

About: Hiya, I’m Tania. An animal lover here to help with all your pet caring needs! After losing my senior dog in 2023 (Yorkie on my profile), my home is now free to help other pet owners. From walks, feeding, giving pesty medication and of course, lots of cuddles. My job would make it unfair to own another dog so I get my fill of slobbery kisses from other pet-owners. As each animal is one-of-a-kind, a meet and greet is vital to ensure we’re a right fit for each other. While you’re away, you can expect regular picture updates! I work full-time so update my calendar regularly for all pet caring activities. Including park walks, exploring the local area of Chester-le-Street and the occasional beach trips (with owner’s permission). I have a full height fenced back yard with an internal lock, full privacy and security camera to the front and rear of the property. There is no grass so if your dog is fussy with only going to the toilet on grass, we may not be the right fit. However, there is a field a 2-minute walk away which will get plenty of use. All animals will have roam of my house (unless request crates) and will be cared for as if my own! Please message if you have any questions!

About: Hi! I’m a 3rd year Biology student with a lifelong love for animals. I’ve had a dog all my life and I’ve looked after cats, hamsters and rabbits. I’ve had experience looking after friends dogs as well as working in a cattery for two years to assist with cat care. I understand the need to find somebody you trust with your pets and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, playtime, or giving meds, I’m here to help your pet feel happy and safe while you’re away. As a University Student I have a very flexible schedule. I am free every weekend and every evening to help care for your pet. As well as this, over Summer I have a fully open schedule to care for your pets. This will allow me to complete drop in visits and overnight care depending on what you and your pet require. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow the specific routines and instructions you provide, whether it’s for feeding, medications, or walks. I make sure pets are always supervised and never put in unsafe situations. I take time to build trust with each animal so they feel calm and secure with me. I’m gentle, patient, and attentive to their needs - whether that means a quiet cuddle or an energetic play session. I will always respect your home when sitting there and keep doors locked, leashes secure, and never leave pets unsupervised outside. You’ll get regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away!

About: Very excited to meet your pup, I have grown up with my own dogs and I have a fur baby of my own. I love energetic dogs that like to go on big walks, but also those who prefer a cuddle and play indoors. I have looked after friends and families dogs and cats for periods of time when they have been away. I currently work part time as cabin crew, so when I am not flying I have lots of flexible time to look after your dog from early mornings to evenings. With free time on my days off I can take your pup on long or short walks, depending on your preference, for toilet breaks and lots of play time. I have lots of walks and nature reserves near me for on/off lead work. I am happy to work around your dogs needs and toilet breaks.

About: I have always had my own dogs and trained and cared for them from puppies. I am trusted to look after friends and families dogs often when they are on their holidays! If I can make a difference to your dogs like then that will make a difference to mine! I’m currently working at a security centre Monday- Friday 1pm-8pm so I can do mornings from 8am during the week up until 11am. And I can do evenings from 9pm. I am free all weekend to spend with your doggies and hopefully from next year I will be doing this full time! When I care for pets in a client’s home, my top priorities are safety, comfort, and trust. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely — from feeding schedules to favorite toys — to keep pets in their normal routine. I make sure doors and gates are secure, use leashes at all times during walks, and keep a close eye on pets both indoors and outdoors. I treat every pet like my own, giving them plenty of love, attention, and playtime while keeping their space clean and stress-free. Your pets’ happiness and safety come first, always.

“Lucy was great! She showed up right on time and kept me updated on how things were going. My two cats don’t get along, but she handled it perfectly—feeding them wet food in separate rooms and making sure they were both comfortable. I really appreciated how attentive and thoughtful she was. Would definitely recommend her!”

“We are very grateful to Alison and Romy for looking after our 2 cats for 10 days with daily drop in visits. They were kind considerate and respectful to our fur babies and our home. We are hoping to rearrange future visits. Cant recommend them highly enough. Thank you both so such 🙏”

About: I had a cocker spaniel until recently. She is now living elsewhere due to my divorce. I love dogs and grew up with them in Ireland. I live alone in a nice estate surrounded by great dog walks. I work full time Monday -Friday but weekends and evenings are free and I have some Mondays and Fridays off. Enclosed back garden and your dog would have full use of my house, or whatever rules you want in place. I’m a dog lover and I would love to have the company of your pet. My kids are 15/22 and don’t stay over often. Your doggy will be in safe and loving hands. I have some Mondays and Fridays off. I generally work 8-4pm Monday - Friday but I can work from home and my evenings and weekends are free. I have a rear enclosed garden with a 6ft high fence, grass and paved area with plenty of plants and greenery. It’s not a huge garden but enough for your pet to have a little run around. I would want the dog to be happy and in my company with plenty of walks, cuddles, sitting beside me or on me. Whatever you say is best.

“Felicity is great! She looked after our pet ants and fish (sadly our dogs have passed away) and took care of our multitude of house and garden plants while we were away for four weeks. Our ants did very well in her care, and all the plants looked great when we arrived back. Felicity was great about staying in contact. I would have no hesitation with her looking after a furry friend, and definitely recommend her for caring for non-traditional pets.”

“Tania is a perfect candidate for this, she looked after my dog for 4 days while I had to go away and she did a great job, she fed them very well, even went out her way to buy joey treats while I was away, he really liked her as well and never misbehaved but she tended to all of his needs, I knew I could trust her to look after my buddy. She walked him, got a good bed lay out for him, took him to the beach a few times, she even gave me updates how he was doing while I was away. I really recommend her capable and responsible and passionate enough to look after anyone’s pet when they need it :)”

“Vanessa has looked after my Goldendoodle multiple times now for weeks at a time. She always returns happy and healthy and when we drop her off she's always ecstatic to see Vanessa. Couldn't recommend her more, and it definitely helps that she knows her fair share about dog training as ours can be a bit of a rascal at times. 10/10.”

“Over the past few years Steph has looked after two of my pets - a rabbit and a cat. I can’t say enough good things about how attentive she is, Steph treats them as her own and gave me the best updates so I could easily see how they were getting on. Our rabbit was treated like like a little prince, and our cat had the time of his life playing with her. Steph loves animals and understands how to provide the best care for them, partly due to the fact that she’s an experience pet owner herself!”
