“This was the first time our 9 year old labrador has stayed with Marcia, and we have been delighted. A "meet and greet" was arranged first so our boy could meet Marcia's own dog which is a great idea. He stayed for two nights and all was fine. We are really happy for our boy to stay there again. I was so particular about finding the right family to care for him and was prepared to go the extra distance if I found them. I am so glad that Michelle became available because straight from the meet and greet I just felt that Cash was going to be nurtured with love and care. Everything was right. Michelle followed the guidance I’d sent, she sent updates and photos throughout. I could just see that Cash was living the dream so much so I wondered if he’d want to come home! He was so chilled when I went to get him and I could just tell what a positive experience he’d had. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Cash with Michelle, Jase and Ella in future. About: I have had dogs since I was 10years old, I am 55 years old now lol x I have a big house for them to run around in, I live in a village were there is plenty of walks to go on, I work from home n have plebiscite of time on my hands to walk and play with them, have a big garden and just love animals I work from home so I have plenty of time for the dogs and enjoy looking after them, I don’t believe in cage the dogs My garden is fenced off, I have plenty of room for the fury animals to run about, also live 5 minutes drive from cannok chase

“This was first time we had used rover due to original plans falling through last minute, luckily we found Alyx who went above and beyond to make us feel at ease with leaving ted with her, Alyx is warm and friendly and kept us in the loop with updates! Will definitely leave Ted in her hands again, not sure Ted wanted to leave as he was spoilt and made friends with maverick her dog! Thanks again x 🐾”

“We have used Chris multiple times now to look after our 2 cavapoos. Both are classic “velcro dogs” and even for us it can be overwhelming at times. Chris however is not phased by this and is happy to accommodate any needs you have to make your dog feel like they are at home. Both dogs are very picky eaters and on the most recent occasion she was so helpful in trialling new foods with them and letting us know which seemed best for them. We found it very amusing that on arrival to collect them, our dog was running round with her sock, which is exactly what he does at home! Thanks Chris. See you again next time!”

“Paulina took perfect care of our dog when we needed someone last minute for a night away. She updated us with photos and videos, and let us know what he'd been up to, how well he'd eaten etc. She provided him with a home from home, even letting him sleep on her bed. I would be happy to leave Noah with her again.”

About: I love dogs. I treat them as they were family. I love playing with them and going to the field and playing with them. I own 2 border collies so I'm used to having to run around keeping them entertained. Which I would do the same for any other animal I would look after. The dogs I look after will be taken care for and proper loved up. I love near a massive field which I can walk or let them have a run. I have fenced off back garden. I have a undercover area for your pets to run around in. They will be allowed on the sofa. I will be taking the dogs onto the field in dry weather and if it's wet outside they will be walked on the street through the neighborhood.

This can also be catered for as we can section off areas of the house to keep the dogs apart if required We take a holistic approach, knowing that all dogs are different and want what is best for your dog during their time with us

About: I love animals. Any dogs that stay are allowed anywhere in my home because dogs are family and need to be treated with lots of love and I would hate them to feel lonely when with me. I have adaptions for my miniature daschund - a water fountain so he can drink without choking and a pet step for the sofa. I also have A LOT of blankets, as daschunds love blankets and mine is no different! I am a teacher, I work 9-12 Monday to Friday and am off holidays and weekends. This means my pets are never alone longer than 4 hours during the week. We have national trust passes and the weekends are normally spent doing dog friendly walks at a nice garden or on Cannock chase. I have a fenced off garden and lots of lovely places where dogs love to walk. I have a miniature daschund and two cats. All my pets are friendly with other animals.

“Layla is absolutely incredible! During our first meeting, she wanted to know everything about Pablo - from his normal routine to his likes and dislikes and applied all of this to his stay. We got regular updates and pictures so we knew that Pablo was happy in his new surroundings and knowing that he was being treated like one of the family allowed us to relax more…he had such a lovely time that he didn’t want to come home with us and instead took himself off upstairs for a sleep on the bed! We are so glad we came across Layla and will definitely be booking Pablo back in with her when we go away again.”

“Amazing first day for Lexi with Jodie and her partner. We got photos throughout the day and was able to keep up to date with progress. Lexi came home a happy little girl, no signs of stress as we feared would be the case if she went to a kennels! We weren’t sure how Lexi would take to being away from us for the first time ever, but she was showered with affection the whole time and made herself at home. Lexi really settled in for the day and looking forward to the next stay already.”
