“Imogen was amazing, she fed our cat loki 3 times a day and sorted her litter tray out. She kept us very informed to how loki was doing and sent us some very cute pictures on each visit. Imogen had car troubles 1 day and kept us in the loop and despite her car issues still got to feed loki at a very reasonable time only 30 mins after the scheduled time. We would recommend Imogen to our friends and family.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs most of my life for friends and family and have worked at a dog boarding kennels for 3 years working with all kinds of dog breeds and I studied dog behaviour, nutrition and management including housing and healthcare I’m currently working part time between 8-10am and 3-5pm so I’m available most days in between, if you are okay with your dog/dog’s being left for 2 hours morning and afternoon. In your home I will listen and follow all instructions to keep your pet safe and happy this will extend to outside the home on walks. Unfortunately i cannot have your pet in my home as I have a reactive dog and wouldn’t want to put another animal in danger or distress.

About: I love animals to bits and admire them all I can. I use to foster a dog for a few months and we created a beautiful bond with so many lovely memories. My cousin's use to have a dog and I would occasionally look after him as well, he was a bit aggressive but with patience and love, he was a lovely. I have had hamsters so I know how important it is to give animals their space and to have patience to form a connection. Right now, my sister has a Syrian hamster, she is the only pet we have. I am a first year university student in Manchester but I have a lot of free time now that first year has come to an end. I do have a part time job at a cafe and will update my availability as soon as I get my rotas. Other than that, I am very flexible! I have a garden that is fenced up to ensure safety - the only thing would be that the garage roof it attached to the top part of my garden. But I will be keeping an eye and spending time with your pet so that they don't come across it.

About: Hello! My name is Jane and I am a dog walker and pet sitter. I have worked for the past 12 years as an animal care lecturer, as an animal management keeper, and worked in a large aquatics pet store, so I have a broad range of experience. In 2024 I decided that I wanted to use my experience with animals and work for myself. Having needed dog walking and pet services myself in the past and struggled to find someone local that could rely on, I know how worrying it can be to find the right person to care for my animals whilst I am not at home. The person I would be hiring would be responsible for two things I care about the most, my pets and my home. I therefore aim to provide a reliable and reassuring pet care service for all owners to help alleviate some of these worries. I am fully insured with PetPlan Sanctuary and have been trained in Canine First Aid (iPet Level 3). I also have an enhanced DBS check available for clients to view, so you can be assured you have someone trustworthy caring for your pets. I can provide regular or one-off dog walking and a variety of pet care services in your home (including one-off or regular visits, and overnight stays). I can even clean and maintain your aquarium for you, both freshwater and marine. I care for the pets of others nearly full time so I can fit in pet care services very flexibly. I also work part time shifts caring for an exotic animal collection at a local college and can usually fit in pet visits and overnight stays around this. Pets are cared for with their own comfort, and peace of mind of the owner, at the heart of the routine. As much as possible I try to ensure the pet's normal routine is not disturbed, which can help many pets when their owners are away. This is especially true for nervous cats and shy dogs who often need their own space, and I try not to pressure them into being in my company if they do not want it. On the other hand, confident cats and dogs can always get the scritches, belly rubs and play time they ask for! I try to wind this down in the late evening to ensure that pets know it is coming towards bed time. I believe it is very important to respect pets and owners boundaries. For example, if they're not allowed on the sofa with you, they're not with me either. This is all talked through at the meet and greet I insist on arranging before every booking to make sure we're all on the same page and the pets can meet me at least once before I stay with them. Rest assured your sofa will remain pet-hair free during any stay if that is your preference. When undertaking overnight stays with dogs, I try to pop by at least once during the day for a toilet break. Because I have other dog walking and pet visit commitments I can't always be there a lot of the day at the home, but ensure I pop by at least once in between my other commitments. For other animals (cats or other small pets) I do not usually do this unless needed for their health and wellbeing. I try to have a minimal impact on the owner's home when staying overnight. I bring my own ready-made food, my own bedding, and even my own entertainment. There's nothing more of a chore than coming home from holiday to clean extra bedding along with your own holiday laundry!

About: I’ve taken care of hamsters, cats and dogs. I’m a registered children’s nurse and DBS checked- I have a deep appreciation for non-verbal communication with humans and our furry friends! I’m currently waiting to start my SCPHN apprenticeship in September and have no other commitments currently. I have a syrian hamster at home that can be moved to a different room/floor. I am mostly at home and go for occasional walks. I will learn your pets routine and do my best to provide as much support and normalisation to their normal routines as possible. About: I have been cat sitting now for over 2 years and i currently volunteer at a Cat rescue (Bradford Cat Watch Rescue & Sanctuary) where i have been working for 12 years. I have experience working with poorly cats, cats with special needs and cats & kittens of all ages. I also foster for the rescue so have a range of experience in looking after different cats with different personalities. I also have a National diploma in Animal management which i got at Craven College. I have grown up with cats all my life and currently have 5 cats of my own, all of which are rescues, Minx, Missy, Ninja, Cagney and Rascal. They range in ages from 3 to 14. I work at the cat rescue 3 days a week. I'm available in the mornings and late afternoons to visit your pets and spend some time with them or i can do overnight stays. I will look after your pet in your home and follow the routine and any instructions you give me on how your pet needs to be looked after.

About: I've taken care of pets for 7 years now (including my own!) and regularly walk my family friend's dog, when the owner is unable to. I'm well versed with cleaning out litter trays, and like to make sure that pets are well entertained, loved, and cared for! I currently work full time however the majority of my time I work remotely, so can easily pop in to check on a pet, or stay in a home for any period! Once a month I will generally need to work from the office, but there are times when this doesn't happen anyway. Occasionally my work requires me to be out of town, but this is rare and can be discussed. I like to make sure pets are kept within the safety of a home's confines & garden, but like to let pets have their freedom within this! Anything small that might be accidentally swallowed I like to keep out of pets' ways.

About: I have multiple experiences pet sitting other people's cats. A recent example is in December 2024 where I was volunteering in Antalya at this woman's villa with her 12 cats, many chickens and dog. I would tend to them as they went about their day and they too, would come and find me. Another time is when I was in Canada for 5 months and would look after my uncles 3 cats. However, I am a complete newbie to Rover. I hope you can trust me. I am currently available and will be able to tend to your cat as I am very flexible and good at managing my time on a day to day. About: I’ve looked after lots of pets over the last 20 years. Mostly dogs of all different breeds. I have a whippet called peppa and she is very placid and gets on with most dogs. I work part time so I have lots of time for dog walking. There is lots of lovely walks where I live so your pooch will not get fed up of going on the same walk every day I have a big back garden which is enclosed so your dog can chillax.
