About: I have taken care of family and friends dogs since I was 13 years old. I’ve always had dogs, I have two shih tzu’s Bruno and Joey back home in Canada. I believe dogs are just as much family as humans 😊. I care for my own dogs on the daily. As well as neighbours, family, and friends dogs as well. I’ve loved and cared for dogs my entire life and understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs. Whether your pup is energetic and loves long walks or prefers quiet cuddles at home, I’m happy to care for them however way makes them feel comfortable and secure.I believe in treating every dog as if they were my own. I’m patient, attentive, and reliable, and I will always prioritize your dog’s safety and happiness. I recently moved to Belfast, I am from Canada, I have dogs back home but they will not be here with me in Northern Ireland. About: I have been pet sitting for quite some time now and have experience sitting for an array of breeds and dogs of differing ages right from the puppy stage all the way to more elderly dogs requiring a slower and more relaxed pace. I have also pet sat for dogs of differing sizes and breeds and can provide longer walks for more high energy, younger dogs. I have grown up with pets all my life, having owned miniature schnauzers since the age of ten. I absolutely adore them and can assist in caring for any range of age of dogs from young puppies to elderly, both through the experience of owning my own pets and the other dogs that I have cared for. My experience in sitting for others ranges from a lively cocker spaniel puppy recently to an elderly shih tzu and I would love to leave others with a peace of mind that their pet is being well cared for in their absence. I can also teach some tricks, such as roll over and paw depending on how cooperative your pup is :) (My mini schnauzer took some convincing and lots of treats 🤣) When I am not required to be in the office or travel for work (i would mark myself as unavailable/not accept bookings in these cases) I have great flexibility and can work from home so I would be able to accompany your pet all day and take them out for multiple walks throughout the day, they would not need to be alone for stretches of time over an hour or so, and even then I can adjust my schedule to ensure any anxious pets that need more company are not left alone and I am with them. I enjoy long walks daily so your pet would be well cared for and well walked. I have a large outdoor balcony with a high and contained fence but also I live beside large green spaces more importantly with great areas to walk the pets. I am also located beside Victoria Park for long walks and fresh air. My apartment is well locked up and no easy access at all for pets to get out onto the street as it is on the third floor and doors and windows can all be easily secured. It is also not overly cluttered and there is very little in terms of hazards, Overall I would be a available to stay in the home of the pet if you would prefer that and am willing to travel within London to accommodate this.

Charley managed Austin’s daily medication and high maintenance hygiene routine perfectly. My boy was absolutely immaculate at pick up. These were no problem for Niall and Henrique and they sent us regular pupdates of how Winston was doing. I’d highly recommend their services and will be rebooking in the future.”

About: I had a pet husky for over ten years. I currently have no pets of my own however I am often trusted to look after family and friends cats and dogs I work remotely full time from home therefore will be at home with your pet at all times. I live a two minute walk away from a dog friendly park and I go for several walks daily I have a fenced garden, there are no children in our home, just myself and my partner who is also an animal lover. What an absolute pleasure it was to first meet Aidan and Fergal, and second to have them watch over my baby. They are such a lovely warm people, with a beautiful home and i could see my Finley fitting right in. They sent me updates and after some pictures as well, and i could see that Finley was having a very good time. Best of all when i picked him up he was relaxed and happy, meaning he had great time with Aidan and Fergal. We couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter for Pixie! Leaving a high-energy, loving Border Collie cross behind is always a bit stressful, but Mirja made us feel completely at ease from day one. Pixie was instantly comfortable and came back happy, relaxed, and well-exercised. Charley is amazing. We were nervous leaving our dog with family but as soon as I read Charley’s profile knew Raine would love her and she did. Raine is a very clingy Dachshund and Charley is totally 5 star .. no hesitation in recommending her except you might book her when I need her :)
This was our first time leaving our two with anyone other than family members and they are both over six years old. One of our two, a Small Munster lander, is extremely anxious, although perhaps not as much as its owners, therefore we were concerned about leaving her with anyone. We didn't need to be, Danielle was absolutely amazing with both of them, she sent us updates of them during their walks and at home, in which they both looked really relaxed, in fact our Small Munster lander cried when leaving her, much to my displeasure :) I wouldn't hesitate in getting her to mind both of them again well? maybe slightly, although my concern would be they wouldn't want to come home. Thank-you Danielle, we will be contacting you again for future holidays :)
Fantastic woman, was great with my Luna and kept updating me throughout the whole time she was saying with her. She asked about everything to make sure she can give her the best care she could, and at the end of it Luna looked great and well taken care of. She was very flexible with drop off and pick up times which was very helpful. Overall I would highly recommend definitely keep me at ease during my 2 week holiday.
I have a dachshund who can be quite anxious, so Chelsea set up a meet and greet with Elvis prior to me booking which went great. Elvis stayed with Chelsea for a week at the end of August. Communication was great and I was sent lots of updates and I could tell Elvis was having a great time! Elvis was allowed lot of cuddles in bed which was an absolute must! 100% would book with Chelsea again :)
Callum was very friendly and welcoming when we went to meet him for the first time and asked sensible questions about what Eddie's needs and wants were! He looked after Eddie really well and Eddie came back more relaxed than usual which i think was a good sign! Would definitely recommend Callum for dog sitting. 🙂
Eddie was great with Teddy, as usual. Teddy spent a couple of nights with him and Eddie kept us posted and answered quickly all of our messages. Teddy looked really really happy and very relaxed in Eddie's house. He was clearly very well taken care of and felt like at home.
Niall and Henrique have been absolutely amazing. We left our wee dog with them for a week and they sent us plenty of updates, and it looks like Vader really loved being with them! Our plane was delayed during the last day of our holidays and they kept Vader one extra night with very short notice! Will definitely book them again next time we go on holiday :)
We left our dog Ollie with Nicola for 3 nights, we got daily updates, messages and pictures of him which helped loads. Nicola was fab. Ollie took over her living room and she was so obliging. Would definitely recommend Nicola and will most certainly be contacting her again when we had away. 🥰

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
