About: I grew up with many animals around me - From childhood dogs and cats to hamsters, guinea pigs, snakes and axolotls ! I have an extreme passion for animals and not being able to have my own animals in a rental has got me severely missing having a furry friend around. I’ve raised many sizes of dogs from a jack russell to a mastiff, and love all breed equally ! As well as taking care of my personal family animals i have dog and cat sat for many family friends :) I work 9-5, Mon- Wed , so my evenings and weekend are free along with Thursdays and Fridays . I’m very active so long walks/ Hikes are no problem , I also drive so getting to your dogs favourite location is easy ! In your home I am happy to feed, brush, bathe and take care of all your dogs needs ! I am familiar with dog training and am happy to follow any rules or wishes you have for your dog regarding crating , commands and tricks to keep them happiest and healthiest
“Brilliant sitter, felt so at ease from the beginning. A pleasure to talk to about Winnie and she was very attentive making sure the cat got everything she needed while I was out of the country. Will book again for sure!”

“Barney and I love Chanice she's kind, friendly and obviously enjoys doggies. Its been tough for Barney and I recently I lost my husband and beloved cat Brian was always home and it's been great having someone look after Barney so well one thing less for me too worry about”

“Caitlin has been an incredible help to me this year. My dogs adore her and when I return to them after she’s looked after them they are happier, calmer, better behaved. She has the magic touch for sure and I trust her to look after them. It takes so much stress out of travelling! When I used to put Ambrose in kennels I would return to a completely stressed out dog who hadn’t eaten/pooped/was completely panicked. Now when I come home it’s like nothing has even changed in his wee world - except for he seems super happy! The best.”

“Five stars is not enough. Aimee was amazing. Sent photos spent time with the animals and was an absolute gem. Would highly recommend her and would most definitely book her again. She is fabulous.”

“Alice Maria cared for our skittish girl Elsa for a week while we were away on holiday. She was so patient with Elsa and was able to check on her to make sure she was safe without disturbing her too much and gave us great updates on how well our girl was doing while we were away from her. We're looking forward to booking with Alice Maria again for our next holiday.”

“Caitlin looked after my 2 cats recently for one week. I couldn’t be happier with her services, regular daily updates and lots of photos I was sent. My girls were well looked after, played with and doted on and my house was left in good standard. Thank you so much for looking after the girls! Happy new year from Me, Cece and Zaza 🐾 🥳”

“I have used Paige and her partner's services multiple times on Rover, and they are fab! I have a senior blind dog who requires multiple medications and additional care, and he has always been well taken care of! My dog can be prone to separation anxiety too, but he has been so calm when I return that I'm starting to think he likes Paige and her partner better than me lol!”

About: Hi, I’m Eleonora 😀 I live in a nice and quiet area and my cozy house is a 5 min walk away from Ormeau Park so long walks and lots of play time are guaranteed. I have been around dogs our whole lives and my love for them has only grown. I like sending regular updates as I know that it can be hard being away from your best friends. A meet and greet can be arranged so that you could see the area and meet me in person before confirming the booking. Please note that I’m only available from 6pm on Fridays. I offer the boarding service at the weekends and while I’m on annual leave. This is cause my focus will be on your pets and I want to make sure to have plenty of time to play with them. This is also the main reason why I only accept one pet at a time. I am a really active person and I love having long walks in the park which is close to our lovely apartment. At the moment I don’t have any pets, therefore I can give extra care to your best friends during their boardings. I am flexible around drop off and pick up times and I will send regular updates.
About: My partner Sarah and I both love animals and give them as much attention as they require ☺️ We currently have an 8 year old beagle who is diabetic and blind in one eye. So we are well used to giving attention, belly rubs, sniff requests and giving different types of medication - injections, eye drops and oral. We have senior cat experience with our late cat Tabby who had arthritis and was on multiple medications. My partner and I work from home with one of us available to stay with the animals, available most evenings and weekends with enough notice. My own dog will be in the house. The back garden is completely fenced and covered, even my own little escape artist hasn’t found a way to escape just yet. House is fully free to roam for all animals.
“Ciaran was a wonderful sitter for our cat. He sent daily photos and messages. Our cat, who is usually shy, quickly grew fond of him and trusted him. H We would happily use his services again!”

About: I have grown up around animals in a farming environment. I’ve had dogs all through my childhood and I now have a rescue cat called Taco and regularly care for pets belonging to family and friends. I provide a safe, loving environment and treat every pet as if they were my own. I work full-time Monday to Friday, typically 9am–5pm, but my partner works from home, so there is usually someone at home during the day. I’m available for evening and weekend visits, and I’m happy to discuss bookings that fit around your cat’s routine. I’ll always make sure your cat receives plenty of attention, care, and companionship. I understand that every cat has their own routine and personality, so I’ll always follow your instructions carefully to make sure they feel safe and comfortable in their own home. I’ll provide fresh food and water, clean the litter tray, spend quality time playing or giving cuddles (if they enjoy them), and make sure your home is left clean and secure. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can relax knowing your cat is in caring and trustworthy hands.

Cat owners share their Rover experiences - Belfast
Hendrix is an extremely caring person who really understands animals (in our case cat) and their little quirks. If you are in any doubt about trusting a sitter in your home, fear not - Hendrix is reliable, honest and a great communicator, but more importantly, our cat Minnie came out of her shell and made a new forever friend! Hendrix will hopefully be available next time we're away 😊

Courtney did a great job looking after my two very shy cats. Followed the instructions I gave so that their routine was as close to normal whilst I was away. She kept me updated with every visit so I felt reassured my two cats were ok. I would definitely use her again when I travel next and need a cat sitter ☺️
Jane was amazing! It was a load of my mind when they were available during the Christmas period. Jane was very nice to chat to and they followed all the instructions I left. My cat Zelda was well looked after and I’d highly recommend Jane to anyone who is looking for a great pet sitter :)

Lisa was great. She took great care of Esther- making sure she got loads of love and attention while we were gone for a few days. We really appreciated the friendly updates and pictures- seemed the two of them were having a great time. Lisa definitely went above and beyond- calling twice a day and even collecting parcels for us. We'll definitely go to her again.
Norma was fantastic looking after my cat, Gus. She was professional, friendly, and reliable — always turning up when she said she would. Gus seemed very comfortable with her, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. I also really appreciated the regular photo updates she sent, which showed Gus happy and well cared for. I would definitely recommend Norma and wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
