“I have used Paige and her partner's services multiple times on Rover, and they are fab! I have a senior blind dog who requires multiple medications and additional care, and he has always been well taken care of! My dog can be prone to separation anxiety too, but he has been so calm when I return that I'm starting to think he likes Paige and her partner better than me lol!”

“Caitlin has watched my cats a handful of times and can always trust her to take good care of them. Even my shy cat, Teddy, comes out of his shell to play whenever she drops by.”

About: I grew up with many animals around me - From childhood dogs and cats to hamsters, guinea pigs, snakes and axolotls ! I have an extreme passion for animals and not being able to have my own animals in a rental has got me severely missing having a furry friend around. I’ve raised many sizes of dogs from a jack russell to a mastiff, and love all breed equally ! As well as taking care of my personal family animals i have dog and cat sat for many family friends :) I work 9-5, Mon- Wed , so my evenings and weekend are free along with Thursdays and Fridays . I’m very active so long walks/ Hikes are no problem , I also drive so getting to your dogs favourite location is easy ! In your home I am happy to feed, brush, bathe and take care of all your dogs needs ! I am familiar with dog training and am happy to follow any rules or wishes you have for your dog regarding crating , commands and tricks to keep them happiest and healthiest
About: I love animals, and volunteered with the shelter Almost Home. On an average shift I was feeding/cleaning up after/playing with/giving medications to a few dozen dogs of all breeds - from tiny chihuahuas to giant mastiffs. Working in rescue I have plenty of experience with nervous dogs and have a pretty good track record of making them feel more at ease with a bit of time (and chicken!) I'm a student but from mid May, my schedule is pretty flexible until September and I can walk/play/feed etc whenever necessary, so house sitting and drops ins is ideal for me. I cannot have pets in my accommodation as I rent, but am happy to care for your pet in your home however you normally would so their routine is kept as normal as possible. If you would like updates, I'm happy to send as many as you would like for peace of mind and photos of what they're getting up to.
“Would give Caitlin 100 stars if I could! Outstanding and went above and beyond. She was even so kind as to sit and have quality time with our very shy kitty. She asked us if she could give her treats, which our kitty absolutely loved! I will always rebook with Caitlin for future visits and recommend her to everyone! Thanks Caitlin!”

About: I’ve taken care of my neighbours pets while they were away visiting their family back home. I fortunately took care of a senior dog with cancer and an anxious cat who is on the senior side. I had to feed, water and administer medication and completed daily nightly check-in’s to check on their well-being. I also took care of my friend’s cat Filo during the Christmas period while she was away visiting her family back home. I made sure to play, comfort and feed Filo and made sure she had plenty of toys and pets to keep her at bay. I also have a 7 year old black cat of mine called Kicia who I took in when she was abandoned by her owner. Building that foundation of trust is what brought Kicia out of her shell. I will make sure to treat your animal with the same respect and care that they need. Nevertheless, I am reliant and will take the time to take care of your animal and give my full undivided attention to your furry friend. I work full-time however I have a very flexible schedule, so I could work around the days that suit. I also work from 09:30-17:30 so I could come before and spend the majority of my time after work. Also I could pop out during lunch for a quick check-in. I care by cleaning and regularly changing the litter trays, cleaning up the back garden of any waste and making sure all exits are tight and secure preventing any pets to escape the house when they’re not meant to.
About: Hi! My name is Kyra, and I'm originally from the states now living in Belfast. I grew up with cats and dogs and have always loved spending time with pets. I started pet sitting for friends, families, and neighbours before gaining two years of experience working with all sorts of furry friends through new clients on Rover. Every client of mine has their own unique personality and needs, and I approach each new job with an open mind to give the best care possible. During the week, I am usually available for early morning, lunchtime, or evening check-ins, and I am available most weekends. I am also available for overnight stays with enough advance notice. I always make sure your pet feels safe and at ease with a new person in the house. In addition to routine feeding and hygiene, I also dedicate time each visit for playing and attention to keep them happy and relaxed while you’re away.
About: Consistently had dogs and cats in my life through family dogs, as well as friends who often trust me with their precious paws. I used to be a dog groomer too, for four years. During the week only evenings are free including Friday. Weekends are free with advance notice of booking from yourself, if booking it out with one day drop me a message and I will see if I can accommodate 😃 I have a large fenced garden, and a grass area available. If at your home I will be on hand and happy to adhere to your schedule/care routine.

About: I have grown up around animals in a farming environment. I’ve had dogs all through my childhood and I now have a rescue cat called Taco and regularly care for pets belonging to family and friends. I provide a safe, loving environment and treat every pet as if they were my own. I work full-time Monday to Friday, typically 9am–5pm, but my partner works from home, so there is usually someone at home during the day. I’m available for evening and weekend visits, and I’m happy to discuss bookings that fit around your cat’s routine. I’ll always make sure your cat receives plenty of attention, care, and companionship. I understand that every cat has their own routine and personality, so I’ll always follow your instructions carefully to make sure they feel safe and comfortable in their own home. I’ll provide fresh food and water, clean the litter tray, spend quality time playing or giving cuddles (if they enjoy them), and make sure your home is left clean and secure. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can relax knowing your cat is in caring and trustworthy hands.
“Aoife is a star. Her communication is excellent and this made me confident to book her to drop in on my dog for the first time yesterday. She did a great job, put me at ease and sent me lovely updates. I'm booking Aoife now on a more regular basis as result.”
About: My partner Sarah and I both love animals and give them as much attention as they require ☺️ We currently have an 8 year old beagle who is diabetic and blind in one eye. So we are well used to giving attention, belly rubs, sniff requests and giving different types of medication - injections, eye drops and oral. We have senior cat experience with our late cat Tabby who had arthritis and was on multiple medications. My partner and I work from home with one of us available to stay with the animals, available most evenings and weekends with enough notice. My own dog will be in the house. The back garden is completely fenced and covered, even my own little escape artist hasn’t found a way to escape just yet. House is fully free to roam for all animals.
About: Hi, my name is Dave 👋 I live just off the Ormeau Road and I’ve been running a doggy daycare for 6 years! I also spent 4 years volunteering with the WSPCA (a local dog charity down home), which gave me hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments - from bouncy puppies to sleepy seniors. We cared for a lot of rescue dogs and worked on getting them back on their paws and re-homed with new families 🐕 Whether your pup is shy, playful, or full of energy, I take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away 🤗 I work from home, which means your dog will get plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. Between work calls and study breaks (I’m currently doing a master’s for my sins 🐶📚), I love having a furry friend around for walks and play breaks in the yard. I can adapt their exercise schedule depending on their individual needs. Typically if they were with me for 24 hours, we’d have a 45 min walk in both the morning and evening along with two shorter 5/10 minute walks throughout the day to let them do their business. For off-leash dogs, if I’m confident they have good recall and I feel we’ve bonded enough for them to come back to me, I’d sub in some time to play fetch or just let them do their daily zoomies. I’m around most weekdays and weekends, so whether you need regular daytime care or weekend sitting, I’ve got you covered! Your pup’s safety is my top priority. My home is a secure, dog-friendly space where they can relax and explore. The fully fenced backyard space is perfect for safe outdoor time, even for the most clever escape artists! I always keep a close eye on the dogs in my care, follow your routine as closely as possible, and make sure they feel right at home.

Caitlin was brilliant I cannot recommend her enough! She visited our two quite demanding cats and they loved her. She was great at following their specific needs and took fantastic care of them. Her communication and photos of the cats were very much appreciated and put my mind at ease. Thanks so much ☺️

Courtney did a great job looking after my two very shy cats. Followed the instructions I gave so that their routine was as close to normal whilst I was away. She kept me updated with every visit so I felt reassured my two cats were ok. I would definitely use her again when I travel next and need a cat sitter ☺️
Jane was amazing! It was a load of my mind when they were available during the Christmas period. Jane was very nice to chat to and they followed all the instructions I left. My cat Zelda was well looked after and I’d highly recommend Jane to anyone who is looking for a great pet sitter :)

Lisa was great. She took great care of Esther- making sure she got loads of love and attention while we were gone for a few days. We really appreciated the friendly updates and pictures- seemed the two of them were having a great time. Lisa definitely went above and beyond- calling twice a day and even collecting parcels for us. We'll definitely go to her again.
Norma was fantastic looking after my cat, Gus. She was professional, friendly, and reliable — always turning up when she said she would. Gus seemed very comfortable with her, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. I also really appreciated the regular photo updates she sent, which showed Gus happy and well cared for. I would definitely recommend Norma and wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.

Yulei is a lovely girl who took care of Atlas for nearly a week. It was our first time to leave our cat behind and Yulei eased our worries. She sent us photos of Altas daily and updated us on how our pet is doing. Yulei fed Atlas as instructed as well as cleaning the litter box. We’ll definitely get her services again when we go on our holiday. Highly recommended! Thank you Yulei!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
