A home away from home, professional dog cuddles!
Hi, I’m Chelsea. I’m 28 and recently moved back to Northern Ireland after spending nine years in London. While I was there, I spent three brilliant years on Rover, looking after all sorts of dogs with all sorts of personalities. I grew up with dogs and had my own, Dougal, who sadly passed away a few years ago. Since then, I’ve found real joy in helping other people care for their pups and I treat every one of them like they’re my own. I know how important it is for dogs to feel safe, settled, and happy, especially when they’re away from home; and how important it is for you to have peace of mind knowing your dog will be looked after just how you would! Whether your dog needs a long walk with lots of sniffing, loves a bit of fetch, or just wants to snooze beside someone on the sofa, I’ll make sure they feel completely comfortable and cared for. I’m not just someone who shows up and walks your dog. I’m genuinely dog obsessed and love getting to know all their little quirks and routines. I’m reliable, patient, and happy to follow whatever works best for your dog to make sure they feel relaxed and content.

It was our first time leaving our fur baby with someone for an extended period of time (13 nights) and we were apprehensive…but Chelsea was beyond the perfect dog sitter! She kept in constant contact with us during Rudi’s stay with her - updates/messages and fun pics. Rudi clearly enjoyed himself and loved Chelsea! We would 100% recommend her and will definitely be using her services again!
Chelsea was the best cat sitter for Mr Frank <3. We got regular check ins with pictures & videos which made me feel really at ease leaving him :) Chelsea followed all the instructions we left for Franklin to a T & he was so content when we came home which was lovely to see. This was Teeko's first stay with Chelsea and we had a useful meet and greet in advance. Teeko was very settled and got his walks and cuddles. Chelsea kept in touch with some photos and he was kept secure (he likes to escape given the chance). Would not hesitate to use Chelsea again - thank you!
We couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter! Lana, our 21 month old Maltese stayed with Chelsea for 3 nights in July. We also made use of her collect and drop home service which was great. So handy. Chelsea did an amazing job! Such a lovely, friendly and caring person. She treated Lana like her own and we especially appreciated all the videos and pictures she sent, keeping us fully informed and reassured throughout our holiday. Definitely our go-to sitter from now on! Thank you Chelsea for taking such good care of our wee Lana xx I would highly recommend!
We couldn’t have asked for a better first experience! Stormi is only 10 months old, and this was her first time being away from home for a whole week, so we were naturally a little nervous. From the moment we dropped her off, we knew she was in amazing hands. We received so many photos and updates throughout the week, which gave us so much peace of mind. Stormi was taken on lots of adventures and included in everything, and it was clear she was being treated like the princess she is. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of stormi! You will most definitely see her again 😂 and would highly recommend you to anyone looking for a caring, reliable dog sitter! I cannot thank you enough!! 🫶🏼

Schedule
Every day looks a little different, but your dog will always get plenty of attention, exercise, and downtime. I live right beside the Comber Greenway, so we start the day with a proper walk along the path to get some fresh air and sniffing in. If I am heading into the office, we walk in together. It takes about 35 minutes each way, so your dog will get a good stretch in both the morning and evening. My office is fully dog friendly with beds and bowls already there, so there is no need to pack anything. Dogs I care for are always by my side getting plenty of fuss throughout the day. If I am working from home, it is even cosier with more time for cuddles between emails. Afterwards we’ll head home and get some dinner and watch a movie or two before a bedtime walk and then get ready for sleep!

Safety, trust & environment
My home in Belfast is clean, secure, and fully dog friendly with no hazards, no hidden snacks, and nothing within chewing distance!! I supervise the dogs I sit at all times! (They’re stuck with me ha!) I also work in a dog-friendly office, so your pup will never be left alone if I do have to go into the office, they’ll be with me throughout the day, getting plenty of company and attention. I’m cautious on walks and always on the lookout to make sure they don’t eat or roll in anything dodgy. (If they do that’s followed swiftly with a big bath!) I know every dog has their own personality and needs, so I’m happy to work together with you to make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and right at home with me.
A typical day
Being part of Rover for three years I have acquired many snuffle mats and a trove of toys for your pet to play with! I haven’t yet met a dog that hasn’t enjoyed a treat puzzle! If the weather is nice I like to head into the countryside or the beach for big walks and a change od scenery with your dog.
