“Sid had a great time with Anabela, Daryl, and Matteo! It was so nice to see how great Matteo was playing with Sid, it had the added bonus of tiring Sid out with non stop play! Sid got out for plenty of walks and had lots of attention from all the family. The house was very neat and tidy when we arrived and they had a great yard out the back for play during the day. We would happily have Sid stay again, they were great with updates and Sid was a happy boy the whole time!”

“Paul was amazing and stepped in at super short notice, which we really appreciated. Frank is still a little puppy and Paul gave him so much attention and care. We felt totally at ease leaving Frank with him. Would happily book again - thank you, Paul!”

About: I have had dogs and small animals my whole life! I am well experienced with both low-energy level as well as high-energy level (I grew up with Australian Cattle dogs), and so am able to provide an environment that is mentally enriching and suited to your pet! Additionally, I've had rabbits and guinea pigs in the past, and so am used to managing the needs of unique/diverse animals. I am currently enrolled in my Masters of Law online, and so spend majority of my day in or right around the flat studying. I do work part-time in a bar, but this is only a 2 minute walk from my house, and at the moment I am only working Saturdays, so your pet would never be left alone too long. As I am home most of the day, your fur baby will always have the option of my attention. Although I do not have a fenced in yard, I take several small walks a day already to maintain a clear head. I am also only around the corner from the Botanic Park, so outside time can be easily adapted to your pets needs!

“Bailey had a great stay with Jamie, he was treated like family. Bailey is an elderly Shi Tzu with some funny quirks but Jamie took it all in his stride! He sent me updates every day and that was very reassuring. Can't recommend this dog sitter highly enough, will definitely be booking again.”

“Absolutely excellent from Maeve. Clover had a fantastic time. We were kept updated with lots of videos and photos of clover over the 2 days and we will 100% use Maeve as we can tell he was very well looked after.. Thank you”

About: Hi! We’re Michael and Shannon, a friendly and dependable couple who genuinely love dogs and have grown up around all different breeds. We understand that every pet deserves to feel safe, happy and loved while their owner is away. Between us, we have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes and personalities. Whether it’s energetic walks, playtime in the garden, sticking to feeding routines or simply providing plenty of cuddles, we always make sure each dog receives the care and attention they deserve. We know how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone else, so we treat every dog as if they were our own. We’re patient, responsible and happy to accommodate individual routines, dietary requirements and any medication if needed. We’d love the opportunity to meet you and your dog and provide a safe, loving home away from home while you’re away. We also enjoy keeping owners updated with regular photos and messages so you can relax knowing your best friend is in good hands. My partner and I provide pet care together, she works shifts and I work from home, meaning your dog will receive plenty of attention, companionship and exercise throughout the day. We have a flexible schedule and can accommodate morning, afternoon and evening walks, feeding routines, playtime and regular toilet breaks. We understand that every dog has different needs, so we’ll stick closely to their usual routine to help them feel relaxed and at home. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness are our top priorities. We provide a calm, loving environment where every pet is treated like part of the family. We’ll follow your instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medication, exercise requirements and any special routines. We believe in regular communication and will send photo and video updates throughout their stay, giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I have always grew up with dogs. My husband and I travel a lot for work and this is the main reason we never had a dog. I recently have taken a career break and want to do the things that I enjoy. I love animals and I feel they are a humans best friend. I am currently on a career break. I do travel with my husband however I can work my schedule around any dog walking or sitting. We live in a lovely area in Belfast on the Malone Road. We live in an apartment that has lots of garden area and we are close to Malone park. Our family dog Duke who was a black Labrador always stayed with us and just loved it here.

About: There’s honestly no better company than a happy dog. I’ve had dogs for most of my life, growing up with Golden Retrievers and later sharing my life with my beloved Bernese Mountain Dog, Nanook. After losing Nanook a few years ago, I was lucky enough to welcome Koda into my family, and my love for dogs has only grown stronger. I started Paws at Home Belfast because I genuinely love having dogs around—not just for me, but for Koda too, who enjoys making new four-legged friends. As a dog owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to leave your best friend behind. The thought of them spending their time in a kennel can be stressful, and it’s natural to worry whether they’ll feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. That’s why I wanted to create a true home-from-home experience where dogs can relax, feel safe, and be treated as part of the family. When your dog stays with us, they become part of the household. They’ll enjoy comfy places to snooze, regular walks, plenty of attention and affection, and a secure fenced garden where they can explore, play, and sniff to their heart’s content. I keep things calm, clean, and fun, ensuring every dog receives the care, companionship, and routine they’re used to. We’re conveniently located just a five-minute walk from local playing fields, a dedicated dog park, and the local veterinary practice, giving your dog plenty of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and safe adventures during their stay. I work from home two days each week on a rotating schedule, which allows me to provide plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. One week I work from home on Tuesday and Thursday, and the following week on Monday and Friday, alternating on a bi-weekly basis. I am also available on weekends, giving me flexibility for dog sitting, boarding, and daycare. I always aim to accommodate owners' needs where possible and will keep my availability calendar up to date. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. When boarding in my home, I provide a calm, welcoming environment where dogs can feel relaxed and cared for while they’re away from their family. I take the time to get to know each dog’s routine, personality, and individual needs, making sure they receive the right balance of walks, playtime, attention, and rest. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medication, exercise requirements, and any special preferences. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos throughout their stay. My goal is to make every dog feel comfortable, safe, and loved while they’re in my care.

About: I grew up surrounded by cats and was responsible for them from childhood. As an adult, friends often left their cats with me when they went away, or I would visit them myself to see them, play with them, take care of them, and feed them. I get great pleasure from interacting with cats. I have experience caring for elderly people, so I guarantee that I will be very attentive and patient with your animal.

About: Hi, I’m Eleonora 😀 I live in a nice and quiet area and my cozy house is a 5 min walk away from Ormeau Park so long walks and lots of play time are guaranteed. I have been around dogs our whole lives and my love for them has only grown. I like sending regular updates as I know that it can be hard being away from your best friends. A meet and greet can be arranged so that you could see the area and meet me in person before confirming the booking. Please note that I’m only available from 6pm on Fridays. I offer the boarding service at the weekends and while I’m on annual leave. This is cause my focus will be on your pets and I want to make sure to have plenty of time to play with them. This is also the main reason why I only accept one pet at a time. I am a really active person and I love having long walks in the park which is close to our lovely apartment. At the moment I don’t have any pets, therefore I can give extra care to your best friends during their boardings. I am flexible around drop off and pick up times and I will send regular updates.

About: Have previously had two cats, one recently passed at 17 years of age. She had arthritis and early stages of dementia, so we are used to dealing with difficult scenarios and administration pain medicine.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. My gentle staffordshire bull terrier Lucky is a quiet, but friendly dog and I used to walk her everyday around her favourite route before I moved out of my family home. My dad has taken over this role now. She wouldn’t know herself without her daily walk. I’m currently working part-time while I complete my Masters in Architecture. I walk over 30K steps everyday and each morning I aim to get up as early as possible. Now living away from home, I’m missing my dog and would love some company on my walks - I’d be walking anyway, so why not doing someone a favour as I dander! I generally walk around scenic areas; whether that be in the park, around gardens or by the water. I change it up everytime so I don’t get bored. I would love to spend my spare leisurely time helping someone out and meeting some new pups! I am a great pet sitter and extremely respectful when in the home of someone else. I buy only organic treats from St George’s Market and wouldn’t feed someone else’s pet anything else (unless otherwise stated!) I reward good behaviour. I can keep a dog active and stimulated, but am also about to relax and occupy myself with a book while I watch over a tired pet.
“Very last minute bookings and Joshua had no problem taking Barry, Barry is awfully nervous with new people to which Joshua took his time getting to know him. A really great help and a lovely guy.”

“Aine was absolutely amazing looking after our little puppy. Charlie had the best time ever & was pooped when he got home from all his playtime and adventures. Aine kept us updated and sent some photos to put our mind at ease. Highly recommend Aine. Thank you so much ❤️”

About: I have been having dog since I was 6 years old ( I am now much older !). During the year 2023 I lost my 2 salukis and although I am not yet ready for having another dog of my own, I miss having a dog in the house, so for the past 3 years I have been pet sitting at my place or dog's owner depending on their preferences. I love all kind of dogs and so far I have been looking after, shnauzer, greyhounds, Weimaraners, Cocker Spaniels, Alaskan Malamute, Jack Russels, German Sheppers, mix breeds, puppies and seniors dogs. I work full time but my office is at 15 minutes from my house. My office hrs are from 09:00 to 5:30 pm, with 1 hr lunch break taken to go home for a 30 minutes wee wee and paws stretching. I live in front of a park/ forest and a big field where the dogs can socialise with other dogs. I am an early bird so plenty time for a good hr walking before office hours. During the week days I take the dogs out 4 times but during the weekend, weather permitting we squeeze in an additional walk. I do not have a garden but with a park forest across my street we do not need one ! :-) I have a front and back patio fenced. I look after the dogs staying with me like if they were mine so plenty cuddles and if they do not have dietary restrictions they will have home made treats. You will have an update of how our day went everyday and with photo. I am a very tidy, organised and clean person who do not smoke / drink so your dog will live in a safe environment; if you prefer me staying at your place you can be sure your home will be treated with the maximum respect. I do not have a car so your house will have to be close to public transport.
“Eleonora is a lovely person! She is very caring and loves dogs. Bowie was in good hands with Eleonora. She kept me updated daily with pictures and messages. I would absolutely use her services again and would recommend her to anyone.”

“Gill was absolutely amazing with our Labrador. She sent me photos and updates everyday. Lyla was so so happy when we picked her up. I couldn’t recommend Gill more, your pet will certainly be in good hands and give you peace of mind.”

“This was the first time i had used Grace for my 2 labradors. They were clearly very well looked after, happy and healthy after an 8 day stay in lovely surroundings on the south downs. Thankyou i will definitely use your boarding services again. Very happy.”

“Billie was absolutely fantastic, looking after Gino for three nights. Billie squeezed us in and was really accommodating throughout.Billie really cares for all of the dogs and it brings great comfort that our Gino was being looked after well. Normally Gino is a bit stand offish in a new environment but seemed to love his time right from the get go. He got plenty of walks, plenty of updates and we got loads of pictures and videos of the doggy playtime. We will definitely be back again 🙂 10/10”

“I cannot rate Fiona & Dave highly enough! From first meet to our pet Savannah's first stay, I was made to feel at complete ease about leaving Savannah in both Fiona's & Dave's care. Upon arrival at their home, it was all about Savannah and welcoming her on her own terms which was a massive win win as she went off with Dave while I chatted with Fiona and she never gave me a second thought haha. I thought that was amazing as I thought she would fret after me as we've only had her as part of our family for about 3.5 months and she's still a wee pupper. But no, off she happily trotted to explore. Fiona and Dave kept me updated throughout Savannah's stay and this really helped me to relax and get on with enjoying our planned activities. Fiona and Dave really listened to Savannah's needs and care and took amazing care of her with feeding, exercising and time to chill. Absolutely lovely people who are really focused on caring for your pet's individual needs. I'm really happy with Savannah's first stay with Fiona and Dave. And I can honestly say that Savannah was happy and content when picked up and slept like a log when home - which was very much welcomed as we'd had a busy day prior. I will be hoping to book Savannah in with Fiona and Dave regularly so that she remains familiar with them both, with a view to longer stays for trips away when we can't take Savannah with us. Overall, 5* excellent service for your pet's stay and needs with the most lovely, friendly, pet focused people. Thank you Fiona & Dave! Lavinia & Savannah 🐾 🐾”
