About: Hi! We’re Andy and Caitlin — lifelong animal lovers and experienced pet owners who know that pets aren’t just pets, they’re family. Caitlin has an older cockapoo named Bobby, and Andy has grown up with large breeds, including a St. Bernard and a Bernese Mountain Dog/Collie mix, so we’re comfortable with dogs of all shapes and personalities. While we’d love to walk and spend time with big dogs, our home is best suited for small to medium-sized pups right now. We’re both extremely caring and affectionate — expect plenty of cuddles, playtime, and company for your furry friend. In our home, pets are welcome on the sofa, and yes, they’re more than welcome to curl up on the bed too! Your pet will be treated like one of our own, with lots of love and attention while you’re away. 🐾 We both work a hybrid week — three days in the office and two from home — which means there’s always someone around during weekdays, especially for drop-ins, walks, or day care. Weekends are completely free, and we love spending them outdoors running, taking long walks, or relaxing in dog-friendly spots (often with a pint of Guinness in hand!). I have been around dogs our whole lives and my love for them has only grown. I like sending regular updates as I know that it can be hard being away from your best friends. A meet and greet can be arranged so that you could see the area and meet me in person before confirming the booking.Please note that I’m only available from 6pm on Fridays. I offer the boarding service at the weekends and while I’m on annual leave. This is cause my focus will be on your pets and I want to make sure to have plenty of time to play with them. This is also the main reason why I only accept one pet at a time. I am a really active person and I love having long walks in the park which is close to our lovely apartment. So we are well used to giving attention, belly rubs, sniff requests and giving different types of medication - injections, eye drops and oral. We have senior cat experience with our late cat Tabby who had arthritis and was on multiple medications. My partner and I work from home with one of us available to stay with the animals, available most evenings and weekends with enough notice. My own dog will be in the house. About: I’ve been around dogs since forever as we have always had dogs in my childhood home. All my family members also have dogs and my sister works for the local dog shelter back home so I have constantly had dogs in and out of my home. Since moving to Belfast I haven’t had the opportunity to have my own dog so I would love the opportunity to dog sit and dog walk. Since I work from home, my schedule is naturally very dog-friendly. I find that having a four-legged companion around makes the workday much better! My typical routine includes a morning walk to get the day started, which helps keep dogs relaxed while I’m at my desk. Because I’m here all day, your dog will have constant company and the opportunity for 'toilet breaks' in the garden whenever they need them. I always head out for an afternoon stroll and I'm happy to include a third evening walk if your dog is high-energy or just loves being outdoors. Since I’m experienced of dogs of all sizes—from small lap dogs to much larger breeds—I’m very used to adapting the pace and distance to suit their specific energy levels. In short: your pet won't be tucked away in a corner; they’ll be a part of my daily life, getting plenty of attention, supervised play, and as many walks as they need to stay happy. Your pet's safety is my absolute priority. I understand how much trust it takes to leave a family member in someone else's care, which is why I’ve ensured my home is a secure and welcoming environment. Secure Outdoor Space: I have both front and back gardens that are a good size and, most importantly, fully fenced and secure. This allows for plenty of supervised 'zoomies,' outdoor play, or just a quiet sniff around in a safe area throughout the day between our scheduled walks.

“I cannot rate Fiona & Dave highly enough! From first meet to our pet Savannah's first stay, I was made to feel at complete ease about leaving Savannah in both Fiona's & Dave's care. Upon arrival at their home, it was all about Savannah and welcoming her on her own terms which was a massive win win as she went off with Dave while I chatted with Fiona and she never gave me a second thought haha. I thought that was amazing as I thought she would fret after me as we've only had her as part of our family for about 3.5 months and she's still a wee pupper. But no, off she happily trotted to explore. Fiona and Dave kept me updated throughout Savannah's stay and this really helped me to relax and get on with enjoying our planned activities. Fiona and Dave really listened to Savannah's needs and care and took amazing care of her with feeding, exercising and time to chill. Absolutely lovely people who are really focused on caring for your pet's individual needs. I'm really happy with Savannah's first stay with Fiona and Dave. And I can honestly say that Savannah was happy and content when picked up and slept like a log when home - which was very much welcomed as we'd had a busy day prior. I will be hoping to book Savannah in with Fiona and Dave regularly so that she remains familiar with them both, with a view to longer stays for trips away when we can't take Savannah with us. About: I have always grew up with dogs. My husband and I travel a lot for work and this is the main reason we never had a dog. I recently have taken a career break and want to do the things that I enjoy. I love animals and I feel they are a humans best friend. I am currently on a career break. I do travel with my husband however I can work my schedule around any dog walking or sitting. We live in a lovely area in Belfast on the Malone Road. We live in an apartment that has lots of garden area and we are close to Malone park. Our family dog Duke who was a black Labrador always stayed with us and just loved it here.
