About: Hi! We’re Andy and Caitlin — lifelong animal lovers and experienced pet owners who know that pets aren’t just pets, they’re family. Caitlin has an older cockapoo named Bobby, and Andy has grown up with large breeds, including a St. Bernard and a Bernese Mountain Dog/Collie mix, so we’re comfortable with dogs of all shapes and personalities. While we’d love to walk and spend time with big dogs, our home is best suited for small to medium-sized pups right now. We’re both extremely caring and affectionate — expect plenty of cuddles, playtime, and company for your furry friend. In our home, pets are welcome on the sofa, and yes, they’re more than welcome to curl up on the bed too! Your pet will be treated like one of our own, with lots of love and attention while you’re away. 🐾 We both work a hybrid week — three days in the office and two from home — which means there’s always someone around during weekdays, especially for drop-ins, walks, or day care. Weekends are completely free, and we love spending them outdoors running, taking long walks, or relaxing in dog-friendly spots (often with a pint of Guinness in hand!). We’re happy to fit pet care around our flexible routine and make sure your furry friend gets plenty of love, exercise, and attention throughout the week. 🐾 We live in a safe, peaceful area with plenty of nearby green spaces and dog parks — perfect for walks and playtime. As lifelong animal lovers, we’re both naturally caring, attentive, and careful people, especially when it comes to looking after pets. We understand how important it is to meet each dog’s individual needs — from exercise and feeding routines to cuddles and quiet time. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always our top priorities, and we’ll treat them with the same love and attention we give our own. ❤️🐶

They even gave Little Miss her own hot water bottle to keep her sleeping spot warm 🥺 You can tell they’re both cat people - would definitely rebook with them, thanks again guys! 🙏💕”

About: There’s honestly no better company than a happy dog. I’ve had dogs for most of my life, growing up with Golden Retrievers and later sharing my life with my beloved Bernese Mountain Dog, Nanook. After losing Nanook a few years ago, I was lucky enough to welcome Koda into my family, and my love for dogs has only grown stronger. I started Paws at Home Belfast because I genuinely love having dogs around—not just for me, but for Koda too, who enjoys making new four-legged friends. As a dog owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to leave your best friend behind. The thought of them spending their time in a kennel can be stressful, and it’s natural to worry whether they’ll feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. That’s why I wanted to create a true home-from-home experience where dogs can relax, feel safe, and be treated as part of the family. When your dog stays with us, they become part of the household. They’ll enjoy comfy places to snooze, regular walks, plenty of attention and affection, and a secure fenced garden where they can explore, play, and sniff to their heart’s content. I keep things calm, clean, and fun, ensuring every dog receives the care, companionship, and routine they’re used to. We’re conveniently located just a five-minute walk from local playing fields, a dedicated dog park, and the local veterinary practice, giving your dog plenty of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and safe adventures during their stay. I work from home two days each week on a rotating schedule, which allows me to provide plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. One week I work from home on Tuesday and Thursday, and the following week on Monday and Friday, alternating on a bi-weekly basis. I am also available on weekends, giving me flexibility for dog sitting, boarding, and daycare. I always aim to accommodate owners' needs where possible and will keep my availability calendar up to date. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. When boarding in my home, I provide a calm, welcoming environment where dogs can feel relaxed and cared for while they’re away from their family. I take the time to get to know each dog’s routine, personality, and individual needs, making sure they receive the right balance of walks, playtime, attention, and rest. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medication, exercise requirements, and any special preferences. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos throughout their stay. My goal is to make every dog feel comfortable, safe, and loved while they’re in my care.

“We hadn't been on holiday in nearly 5 years finding it hard and stressful leaving our 3 cats especially with one being diabetic, but having Donna take care of them took all that stress away. The cats were loved and well taken care off, Donna even taught our boy cat how to do a trick! I highly recommend Donna and can't thank her enough:)”

“Caitlin provided excellent care for Neo for 7 days whilst we were away. Great at keeping us up to date with daily pics and even thought to put a cat lick treat in the freezer for him to have the next day as it was so hot. Wouldn’t hesitate to have Caitlin back again. 5 stars”

About: I have grown up with cats as pets as well as dogs, and I adore them immensely! I have looked after friends cats while on holiday multiple times and am always happy to say hello to a friendly cat on the street. Any personality - whether it be an independent cat who simply wants food and water or a cuddly kitty looking for scratches - is very welcome !

“Courtney minded our 3 cats over 4 days, we have a diabetic kitty but courtney took care of all 3 really well. The apartment was clean and tidy and cats seemed fab. Would def recommend courtney! ”

“Brilliant sitter, felt so at ease from the beginning. A pleasure to talk to about Winnie and she was very attentive making sure the cat got everything she needed while I was out of the country. Will book again for sure!”

“Caitlin is the most attentive and considerate cat sitter we could have asked for. Not only did she charm our shy cat in a blink, she also sent regular updates with photos and details about our wee man. I highly recommend Caitlin and we will most definitely ask her to mind Dillin again!”

About: I have taken care of senior pets before which requires patience and a lot of care. I also administered medication for both pets. I also took care of a young adult cat, so being attentive and playing with the young cat was essential to use up all that energy before bed-time ensuring a long and calming sleep.
“Paige was so so so fantastic while watching our two cats and home while we were away. We had loads of updates as requested and you could tell she genuinely cared about and enjoyed looking after the boys. I also think the house was even cleaner than when we left it! Thank you Paige, the books say hi! 💖”
About: Hi, I’m Eleonora 😀 I live in a nice and quiet area and my cozy house is a 5 min walk away from Ormeau Park so long walks and lots of play time are guaranteed. I have been around dogs our whole lives and my love for them has only grown. I like sending regular updates as I know that it can be hard being away from your best friends. A meet and greet can be arranged so that you could see the area and meet me in person before confirming the booking. Please note that I’m only available from 6pm on Fridays. I offer the boarding service at the weekends and while I’m on annual leave. This is cause my focus will be on your pets and I want to make sure to have plenty of time to play with them. This is also the main reason why I only accept one pet at a time. I am a really active person and I love having long walks in the park which is close to our lovely apartment. At the moment I don’t have any pets, therefore I can give extra care to your best friends during their boardings. I am flexible around drop off and pick up times and I will send regular updates.
“Aoife is a star. Her communication is excellent and this made me confident to book her to drop in on my dog for the first time yesterday. She did a great job, put me at ease and sent me lovely updates. I'm booking Aoife now on a more regular basis as result.”

About: I currently live in Belfast City Centre. I’ve looked after my own dogs for over 20 years. I have the most experience with small and medium dogs of all ages. My own little Westie Honey lived until she was 18 years old and I looked after her in her old age when she went deaf and blind and had a series of strokes. I have experience in feeding, bathing, walking, cleaning up after and entertaining both large and small dogs. I have just finished my maternity cover contract with my work place and would like to focus on pet setting as my main source of income at the moment, so I am fully flexible to help out with your pet needs. I live in a 5th floor apartment so it is unlikely I will be able to take pets into my own home long term, unless there are special circumstances that require it. I am fully willing to visit your home multiple times per day when you are unable to be at home with your pets. I am also able to stay in your home over night if you require. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions for me!

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was six years old, when I named my first dog—Bones, a sweet lurcher I adored. I’ve always had a passion for loving, nurturing, and gently training dogs of all ages. I’ve cared for several medium-sized dogs, and many of my friends trust me to walk their dogs or look after them during short-term stays. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I’m committed to giving every dog the same patience, care, and kindness. As a final-year university student who also works part-time, my schedule is very flexible. I’m often available during the day, as well as most evenings and weekends. This allows me to easily fit pet care into my routine and give each dog plenty of attention and consistency. I care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable and secure, and I’m happy to take them for walks anywhere you prefer. I understand that every dog is unique, with their own routines, needs, and personalities. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely and will accommodate any preferences to ensure your dog receives the best possible care. My priority is keeping your pet safe, happy, and relaxed—and giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away.

I pride myself on being reliable, caring, and attentive, making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved while in my care. About: I am well educated. I know about different pet breeds, their specific physical needs and their nutritional needs. I am aware of animal resources in my community such as vet clinics, pet stores, pet-friendly parks. Pet care integrates into a daily or weekly routine by incorporating feeding, exercise, grooming, and playtime into established activities. This can include morning walks, meal times, and even breaks during work for some attention and interaction with the pet. Pet care, whether in my home or the pet owner's home, involves providing basic needs like food, water, shelter, and exercise, as well as ensuring their health and safety. The specific services offered would influence the level of care provided, such as walking, playtime, feeding, and even overnight stays. I have a secured backyard.

About: Having dogs and cats since I was 6 years old. I love animals and care for them. In the last few months I took care of a rusell, a beagle and a beautiful cat. I'm usually available from Monday to Friday mostly for day care, walking and drop in visits. I stick to their regular schedule as closely as possible, making sure they feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. Either way, I prioritize keeping them happy, healthy, and loved. I make sure they always have the leash on when walking them.

About: My partner Sarah and I both love animals and give them as much attention as they require ☺️ We currently have an 8 year old beagle who is diabetic and blind in one eye. So we are well used to giving attention, belly rubs, sniff requests and giving different types of medication - injections, eye drops and oral. We have senior cat experience with our late cat Tabby who had arthritis and was on multiple medications. My partner and I work from home with one of us available to stay with the animals, available most evenings and weekends with enough notice. My own dog will be in the house. The back garden is completely fenced and covered, even my own little escape artist hasn’t found a way to escape just yet. House is fully free to roam for all animals.

About: I’ve been around dogs since forever as we have always had dogs in my childhood home. All my family members also have dogs and my sister works for the local dog shelter back home so I have constantly had dogs in and out of my home. Since moving to Belfast I haven’t had the opportunity to have my own dog so I would love the opportunity to dog sit and dog walk. I also previously dog walked in my neighbourhood and dog sat for some families while studying abroad. I have a lot of free time for animals at the moment as I am currently studying a masters online while working part time hours beside my house. My back garden has a bordered fence around it and the house has been newly renovated. The dogs safety and well-being would be my number priority while they stayed so I would make my home feel like theirs.

“Rose was extremely helpful, she listened to the dogs needs and understood my anxiety prior to the walk. She was able to give me a report of how the dogs got on and have scheduled another walk with her. She made my Day, by her enthusiasm and her dedication solely on the needs and getting the dogs out for a walk! She is punctual and nothing's ever too much for her :) looking forward to next week! Thank you.”

“Thank you so much Grace, Joe and Bowie. Remo had a great time with you. It was lovely to receive picture of Remo during his stay! We would love for him to stay with you again!”

“Tracey was absolutely incredible from start to finish with a stay for our 2 year old retriver, Barney! She was very responsive to messages/WhatsApp’s and it was a pleasure to meet her and her lovely family prior to my dogs stay. Barney had a fantastic time and clearly received a huge amount of love and attention! I really appreciated Tracey’s updates and for sending lots of videos and photos. I couldn’t recommend Tracey enough and would be thrilled to book with her again in the future ☺️”

About: I have always grew up with dogs. My husband and I travel a lot for work and this is the main reason we never had a dog. I recently have taken a career break and want to do the things that I enjoy. I love animals and I feel they are a humans best friend. I am currently on a career break. I do travel with my husband however I can work my schedule around any dog walking or sitting. We live in a lovely area in Belfast on the Malone Road. We live in an apartment that has lots of garden area and we are close to Malone park. Our family dog Duke who was a black Labrador always stayed with us and just loved it here.
“Daisy was so lovely and warm to my girl Phoebe who is unfortunately gone blind so I was a little more apprehensive leaving her with anyone. But daisy keep me regularly updated and treated Phoebe as her own, she has such a lovely gentle personality, and I would be happy to have Phoebe stay with daisy again regularly”

“Holly was amazing with Joey! Taught him a new trick and everything. You can tell Holly really loved Joey and we’d happily recommend her services to anyone. Holly went over and beyond to accommodate us collecting joeys crate during marathon road closures! 10/10!! Thank you!”

“Gill was absolutely amazing with our Labrador. She sent me photos and updates everyday. Lyla was so so happy when we picked her up. I couldn’t recommend Gill more, your pet will certainly be in good hands and give you peace of mind.”

“Beau and Apollo loved staying with Anastacia and she took excellent care of them both. We received regular updates and pics of the dogs which we appreciated. We would definitely recommend Anastacia and would have no hesitation leaving the boys or our dog with her in future. Thanks Anastacia for taking such great care of Apollo and Beau😊”

“This was Sam's third time staying with Charlotte and her family. He had a great time, and was looked after so well. I will definitely book with Charlotte again. Thank you so much.”

“Mirja was a fantastic host for our cocker and bison. Updates everyday about their stay. I would highly recommend Mirja to look after your pets. We are so thankful for her service. Thanks Mirja Love Jack and Rudy”

“Billie was absolutely incredible looking after my girl, Ahri. From the moment I reached out for a fairly last-minute booking, she was responsive, reassuring, and genuinely lovely to deal with. We arranged a meet-and-greet walk beforehand, which instantly put me at ease, and it was clear how comfortable Ahri felt around her. During the stay, Billie kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which made such a difference and showed how much care and attention she gives. You can tell she truly loves what she does. She’s clearly in high demand, and it’s easy to see why, so I’d definitely recommend booking early. If you’re looking for someone you can fully trust with your dog, Billie is exactly who you want.”
