“Alice is always so thoughtful and kind and tries to manage her schedule around to fit my dog in anytime I ask. I am always looking forward to read the little stories while working and I never have to worry my dog isn't in good hands. I am delighted with her service and I definitely recommend her!”

About: Hi! My name is Kyra, and I'm originally from the states now living in Belfast. I grew up with cats and dogs and have always loved spending time with pets. I started pet sitting for friends, families, and neighbours before gaining two years of experience working with all sorts of furry friends through new clients on Rover. Every client of mine has their own unique personality and needs, and I approach each new job with an open mind to give the best care possible. During the week, I am usually available for early morning, lunchtime, or evening check-ins, and I am available most weekends. I am also available for overnight stays with enough advance notice. I always make sure your pet feels safe and at ease with a new person in the house. In addition to routine feeding and hygiene, I also dedicate time each visit for playing and attention to keep them happy and relaxed while you’re away.
“Very last minute bookings and Joshua had no problem taking Barry, Barry is awfully nervous with new people to which Joshua took his time getting to know him. A really great help and a lovely guy.”

About: I’m a reliable and caring dog sitter with a genuine love for animals and hands-on experience looking after dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding routines, playtime or overnight care, I make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and happy while their owner is away. I understand how important it is to maintain consistency, so I follow each dog’s routine closely and provide plenty of attention and affection. With a strong sense of responsibility and a passion for animal wellbeing, I treat every dog as if they were my own. I work part-time so can provide daytime care 5 days per week. If your pet can be left alone during the day, I can provide sleepovers whenever needed. I look after pets in their own homes to maintain their comfort and routines. This adds a layer of safety by having someone occupy your house while you are away. I am extremely clean and tidy so you will always be returning to a well looked after house as well!
About: My partner Sarah and I both love animals and give them as much attention as they require ☺️ We currently have an 8 year old beagle who is diabetic and blind in one eye. So we are well used to giving attention, belly rubs, sniff requests and giving different types of medication - injections, eye drops and oral. We have senior cat experience with our late cat Tabby who had arthritis and was on multiple medications. My partner and I work from home with one of us available to stay with the animals, available most evenings and weekends with enough notice. My own dog will be in the house. The back garden is completely fenced and covered, even my own little escape artist hasn’t found a way to escape just yet. House is fully free to roam for all animals.
About: Hi my name is Fiona, I'm a healthcare professional recently returned to Belfast after living in NZ for 4 years. I am new to this website but already have experience dog sitting in NZ which I absolutely loved (I have attached some photos and reviews from previous experience). I am a reliable and friendly person who will take good care of your dog, keeping them happy and make them feel loved while you are away. I work part time work so I am able to take boardings up to 4-5days when I am off. My work is variable so if my calendar is open I aim to be flexible and work around your request for short stays as I would love to spend my free time looking after or walking your dog. I hope to keep my schedule flexible in the coming months if you would like your doggy to have a familiar face for future walks or stay. I have a small enclosed yard where I can play with your dog safely as well as plenty of space in my house where they can roam around freely. I live with my partner who also loves dog, he works full time and so may be around some of the time during your dogs stay.
About: I have had pets for as long as I can remember so animals have always been a big part of my life; when I wasn't nursing strays to health, I was reading books about animals to learn more about their behavior. My 2 cats adopted at only a few weeks of age when I was a teenager and they're currently healthy adults (12 and 10). I will make sure your loved one is cared for and comfortable. I have also house-sat several dogs and raised a puppy of my own. I take instructions well so I can make sure any specific needs are met. I have open availability any time, and any day after 9:30 am! Depending on proximity, I can also do mid-day check ins if needed ! I will make sure that your needs are met as an owner and your pets needs are met so we can discuss my services ahead of time. I am very friendly with pets but I am also understanding of different animals temperaments and boundaries.

About: I’ve looked after a lot of different dogs (mostly for family and friends) over the years, and also have had cats and dogs of my own. I love animals and enjoy looking after and spoiling them. I’m very flexible with different routines and temperaments, and have experience looking after anxious dogs, including my own rescue in the past. I’m currently working part time on the weekends (usually 10am-4pm) and am in university during the academic year (I’m usually only ever occupied by uni until 1pm during the week). I live with my parents and my younger brother so there’s usually someone at home if I’m at work. I have a fenced garden in a quiet, animal-friendly area. I also live near multiple dog-friendly parks. I have an antisocial but otherwise friendly outdoor cat who will happily stay out of the way of any new animals in the house. My household is relatively quiet and has lots of room to roam around or play.

About: I’ve been around dogs since forever as we have always had dogs in my childhood home. All my family members also have dogs and my sister works for the local dog shelter back home so I have constantly had dogs in and out of my home. Since moving to Belfast I haven’t had the opportunity to have my own dog so I would love the opportunity to dog sit and dog walk. I also previously dog walked in my neighbourhood and dog sat for some families while studying abroad. I have a lot of free time for animals at the moment as I am currently studying a masters online while working part time hours beside my house. My back garden has a bordered fence around it and the house has been newly renovated. The dogs safety and well-being would be my number priority while they stayed so I would make my home feel like theirs.
About: I've always had a love for animals. I currently have a German shepherd dog and 3 cats. I love all animals and breeds and would love to answer any questions you may have :) I do currently work but my schedule changes if you are interested in dog walking, pet minding or drop in visits send me a quick message and I will let you know if I'm available! I have a very friendly dog and 3 cats. Unfortunately one of my cats isn't great with animals she doesn't know so I'm unable to offer pet sitting in my own home. I am happy to drop into your home or pet sit there and can set up a day for me to come to your home, meet you and your fur babies, have a chat and answer any questions you may have!

Belfast dog owners share their Rover experiences
I’ve been so worried about having someone else walk Ben as he is a strong boy with selective reactivity. Eddie is clearly very experienced with big dogs and Its obvious that he has a great love for them. Ben was so comfortable with him from the moment they were introduced and put my mind at rest that he was in safe hands. Will definitely book Eddie again and highly recommend

Aimee has been great helping walk Pippa over the last few weeks! She always sends updates and photos to let us know how the walk went and from their initial meet and greet they got on so well and you could tell Aimee is great with dogs! I will definitely continue using Aimee to help walk Pippa!

Jack has been fantastic with my dogs—truly brilliant service. It’s obvious he genuinely cares about and understands dogs, as mine took to him straight away. Now, all I have to do is say his name and they’re at the back door, ready to go! He’s super reliable and has a calm, confident manner that’s really reassuring. I always feel at ease knowing they’re in such good hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jack to anyone looking for dog walking or dog sitting services. He’s trustworthy, sensible, and great with the dogs—10/10!

Cameron was here to collect lubo 5 minutes early and I had chatted to him about what lubo wants and needs, as far as I’m aware he done all of that down to a tee as lubo was a very happy dog when he came home and tired out from the walk! Couldn’t recommend him enough.
