About: While I am new to Rover and professional dog sitting experience, I have lots of hands on experience caring for dogs through both my own doggie - Roo (Jackahuahua) - and looking after dogs and cats for the families I babysit for. I often have responsibility and primary care of Roo whenever my parents go away on holiday, we love to go on long walks through forests and beaches (especially the places where it’s quiet and she can run free!) I always make sure Roo is fed, watered and comfortable to ensure all those good doggie cuddles, and to make sure she’s well looked after too, of course! Through years of babysitting experience, I have had to take care of both children and pets in the families’ homes. This can be tough, but very rewarding as I learned how important patience, attentiveness and staying organised in a busy environment like these can be. I am confident handling different routines, learning the needs of different pets and making sure pets always feel safe, calm and comfortable in my care Pet care fits well into my routine, especially on weekends when I am fully available for dog sitting, longer walks and giving your pet plenty of attention. During the week I work Mon-Fri 9-5 but would definitely be available during the evenings for evening walks or drop-in visits depending on location (especially with the brighter weather coming our way!). I always make sure any pets in my care gets my full attention, time and consistency When caring for pets, I always focus on making them feel as comfortable and safe as possible by sticking closely to their usual routine. I try and figure out their personalities and work with them instead of trying to get them to act a certain way, if they want space, they’ll get space but if they need attention they’ll get my attention. The pet’s needs are my biggest priority. In a pet owner’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions carefully, including feeding, walks and any specific needs. In my own home, I provide a clean, safe and calm environment where pets can relax, play and feel at home. I make sure that pets get plenty of attention, exercise and companionship and I’m always attentive to behaviour and wellbeing. About: Henrique and I have both grown up in homes where there has always been a dog as part of the family and we have always been involved in caring for them – from daily walks and feeding to grooming, training and, of course, plenty of playtime and cuddles. Having a dog around has never just been about having a pet for us; it’s about the joy that a dog brings into everyday life! We recently moved to Belfast and, while we’re settling in and enjoying exploring our new surroundings, we really miss having a dog at home. Dog sitting feels like the perfect way for us to share our love of dogs, give them the attention and care they deserve, and at the same time fill that dog-shaped gap in our home. We are responsible, patient and genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors, so whether your dog loves long walks, cosy evenings on the sofa, or a mix of both, we’ll make sure they feel safe, happy and well looked after while you’re away. I work from home three days a week, and Henrique is at home full time, so there is almost always someone in the house throughout the day. This means your dog will have plenty of company, supervision and attention rather than being left alone for long periods. Safety and trust are very important to us when caring for any dog. In our home, we have a fully fenced, private yard where dogs can enjoy secure outdoor time, always supervised. Inside, we provide a calm, clean and comfortable environment where they can settle in and feel at home. There will always be someone at home with your dog, so they’ll have constant company and won’t be left alone for long periods. We provide regular walks tailored to your dog’s needs, along with plenty of attention and care. If we’re caring for your dog in your home, we will respect your space and follow your dog’s usual routine closely to keep them happy and comfortable.

About: My partner Sarah and I both love animals and give them as much attention as they require ☺️ We currently have an 8 year old beagle who is diabetic and blind in one eye. So we are well used to giving attention, belly rubs, sniff requests and giving different types of medication - injections, eye drops and oral. We have senior cat experience with our late cat Tabby who had arthritis and was on multiple medications. My partner and I work from home with one of us available to stay with the animals, available most evenings and weekends with enough notice. My own dog will be in the house. The back garden is completely fenced and covered, even my own little escape artist hasn’t found a way to escape just yet. House is fully free to roam for all animals.

About: My experience with dogs ranges from dog walking and dog-sitting various breeds, as well as rescues. I love practicing any training or tricks your dogs do! And our long walks will be full of fun, structure, and exercise. Confident around a range of dogs and care for pets as if they were my own fur-babies. Currently I work part-time as a community engagement officer, and am home partially during the day. I do occasional dog-sitting, but dog-walking tends to suit my schedule better at the moment! I love animals, and am loving the opportunity to spend more time with dogs and cats. My cousin is a dog walker, going along with her on walks has taught me a lot about dog behaviour, and helped grow my confidence around dogs.

About: I love animals, and volunteered with the shelter Almost Home. On an average shift I was feeding/cleaning up after/playing with/giving medications to a few dozen dogs of all breeds - from tiny chihuahuas to giant mastiffs. Working in rescue I have plenty of experience with nervous dogs and have a pretty good track record of making them feel more at ease with a bit of time (and chicken!) I'm a student but from mid May, my schedule is pretty flexible until September and I can walk/play/feed etc whenever necessary, so house sitting and drops ins is ideal for me. I cannot have pets in my accommodation as I rent, but am happy to care for your pet in your home however you normally would so their routine is kept as normal as possible. If you would like updates, I'm happy to send as many as you would like for peace of mind and photos of what they're getting up to.

About: I grew up with a small Westie as a family dog so I have experience with training him as a puppy as well as walking, feeding and caring for him throughout his life. Unfortunately, he passed away at 13 years old. As much as I would love another dog as a companion, it is not currently possible. Since owning my own dog, I have minded close family members dogs on a regular basis. This will be for a period of a few days to two weeks multiple times a year. I mind a nice cockapoo who, although is very sweet to humans, has some issues with other dogs. I therefore have experience dealing with dogs who share such an anxiety. I am an active person and keen hiker. I am therefore accustomed to going on walks, both big and small, and would love a furry friend to accompany me! I am a solicitor who took a career break to travel. I am currently settling back into life in NI again and therefore available most days for dog walking and dog-sitting. I am trust-worthy and honest with a love for dogs and I will treat your pet and your home with the utmost respect. I am currently on a career break, having spent a year travelling, and I am now settling back into life at home. I am therefore available every day of the week, both daytime and evening (subject to prior notice). I am a trust-worthy and honest person and I intend to treat your house and your pet with the utmost respect. I have travelled to many countries, using Air BnBs and staying in other people’s homes, and I have an excellent rating on the app. I have great communication skills and will be eager to provide as many updates on your pet as you wish.

About: I’ve been helping my neighbours and friends take care of their dogs and cats, and I also have hands-on experience caring for cats and bunnies. I’m patient, gentle, and genuinely enjoy spending time with all kinds of animals — I don’t mind looking after other types of pets either! Whether it’s feeding, walking, or giving them some extra affection, I always make sure they feel safe and happy. I currently work part-time, so I just need at least one day’s notice to arrange my schedule. Once confirmed, I’ll make sure to give your pet my full attention and care during the booked time. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, making sure pets are fed and have fresh water as provided. I love spending time playing with them, giving cuddles, and making sure they feel comfortable and happy. If they enjoy going out, I can also take them for up to an hour of walking and outdoor playtime.

About: Consistently had dogs and cats in my life through family dogs, as well as friends who often trust me with their precious paws. I used to be a dog groomer too, for four years. During the week only evenings are free including Friday. Weekends are free with advance notice of booking from yourself, if booking it out with one day drop me a message and I will see if I can accommodate 😃 I have a large fenced garden, and a grass area available. If at your home I will be on hand and happy to adhere to your schedule/care routine.

About: Hi, my name is Dave 👋 I live just off the Ormeau Road and I’ve been running a doggy daycare for 6 years! I also spent 4 years volunteering with the WSPCA (a local dog charity down home), which gave me hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments - from bouncy puppies to sleepy seniors. We cared for a lot of rescue dogs and worked on getting them back on their paws and re-homed with new families 🐕 Whether your pup is shy, playful, or full of energy, I take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away 🤗 I work from home, which means your dog will get plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. Between work calls and study breaks (I’m currently doing a master’s for my sins 🐶📚), I love having a furry friend around for walks and play breaks in the yard. I can adapt their exercise schedule depending on their individual needs. Typically if they were with me for 24 hours, we’d have a 45 min walk in both the morning and evening along with two shorter 5/10 minute walks throughout the day to let them do their business. For off-leash dogs, if I’m confident they have good recall and I feel we’ve bonded enough for them to come back to me, I’d sub in some time to play fetch or just let them do their daily zoomies. I’m around most weekdays and weekends, so whether you need regular daytime care or weekend sitting, I’ve got you covered! Your pup’s safety is my top priority. My home is a secure, dog-friendly space where they can relax and explore. The fully fenced backyard space is perfect for safe outdoor time, even for the most clever escape artists! I always keep a close eye on the dogs in my care, follow your routine as closely as possible, and make sure they feel right at home.
