So the only time we could meet up with the original host was the morning of (and we were trying to catch a flight). We showed up at the location only to realize that this person wasn't answering their phone at 730am for our prearranged drop off time. Of course we were in crisis mode at this point, going through all of our options. We contacted Dogvacay and told them what had happened, and that we need to catch a flight in the next hour. They were super helpful in sending out emergency requests seeing if anyone in the area could help us. Luckily, Sonia came through and responded right away! She's a life saver! She sent us lovely pictures of Mia while we were on vacation. We are so grateful she responded on such short notice. Highly recommend!”

When I drop Tara off with them I know she is happy and will stay safe. They truly go above and beyond.”

Celia was absolutely amazing with Ollie! She was incredibly patient and caring, sending plenty of photos and constant updates so I always knew how he was doing. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Ollie had a wonderful time, even making a new best friend with her dog, and he looked so happy and comfortable in her home. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter – highly recommend!
This was the first time I have left Leni with someone I didn’t know for this long, and Mario made me feel so at ease! Leni immediately settled in so well with him and his own sweet pup. I received picture updates every single day of their adventures, so I knew she was well taken care of and having the best time. I couldn’t have hoped for a better rover for my girl!
Donna was great with Wick; having been a recent stray from Muttville SF, she paid close attention to his anxiety and tried to keep him comfortable and feeling safe. Given his size, she designed a 'step' so he could get up/down her couch and bed to reduce issues to his luxating patella. I would book Donna again in the future should the need arise.
Thrilled with sending our pup to stay with Kate (and Ben). We can tell our dog came back happy but not exhausted from stress. Kate was great at sending updates of their adventures and it was very clear she was properly spoiled with attention during her stay. Photos were regular which we were thrilled about. Gravy seemed to settle in very well. She actually ate on the first night there which never happens. Will 100% have Gravy stay there again.
I can't say enough good things about Elena! She took incredible care of my dog for 10 days, and I could tell from the very first update that he was in great hands. She was so attentive, loving, and thoughtful throughout his stay — sending regular updates with the cutest photos and keeping me in the loop. I came back to a calm, happy pup who clearly had the best time. I’m so grateful for the care she provided and wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book with her again. Highly, highly recommend!
Andrea was amazing! Our Pomeranian is a high-energy and also high-anxiety dog, and our normal local sitter was out of town. We have had so-so results in the past getting a backup dogsitter on short notice, but Andrea went above and beyond. She reached out to figure out what would work best for his schedule (letting me know when she planned to be out of the house, etc. and making sure he would be okay being alone for whatever period), was extremely attentive, befriended our nervous dog surprisingly fast, and gave him a ton of exercise. Every picture we got (and there were many!) was extremely reassuring, as he looked increasingly happy and relaxed despite his new environment. Andrea was super meticulous about asking if he had any special feeding/walk/play/sleep schedule - he did not need any special attention in this way but the fact that she proactively inquired demonstrated how seriously she took taking care of him. Andrea was very flexible with drop off/pickup and was very communicative. Her place was safe, clean, and she took great care in trying to arrange blankets/etc. to make Sesame more comfortable (which he clearly was!). She gave us total peace of mind the entire trip and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional, reliable dog sitter!

I have a dog that has high anxiety. I felt Cassie and her boyfriend, did an incredible job with my dog! I know how hard it is to take care of a stressed animal. They went beyond my expectations to make my boy happy!! I would definitely call Cassie again if I am in the area!!!
Scotch review A great pet sitter. Scotch had a one-on-one positive 3 night experience staying with Chenyang. She took care of his walking, feeding, administering medication, and play time, all documented with pictures so I could see throughout the day his happiness. Her responsiveness to my questions or concerns was extremely helpful and fast. Scotch felt comfortable enough to sleep on her bed which meant the world to me. The 3 night stay had a positive impact on both Scotch and I. Highly recommend Chenyang.
