About: I have over 25 years of experience working with pets, from training playful puppies to providing compassionate care for elderly or disabled animals. No matter their age, needs, or temperament, I’m confident and capable of giving your pet the attention and care they deserve. I work from home from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., which gives me plenty of flexibility in the afternoons and evenings. I’m available for walks and pet sitting after 2 p.m., and I truly enjoy both morning and evening walks—having a furry companion along makes them even better! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I’ll make sure they get walks when needed, cuddles when wanted, and space when preferred. She was mindful of locking all the door locks behind her which I thought was a nice touch. Although my poor, scared rescue always hid, Lindi tried her best to coax her but to no avail. About: Raised on a cattle ranch, I have had experience with animals large and small my whole life. I joined Rover about a few years ago, shortly after my 120 pound lab of 9 years passed away, I wanted to be able to be around dogs and be able to be active by going on hikes and out to dog beach, but wasn't quite ready to bring to a new puppy into my life. I have house sat for many clients over the years: friends, co-workers & students families. I love to go on long walks, am comfortable administering medication if needed & providing lots of love for your dear furry friend(s). It’s been 7 years since I brought my lab puppy Pilot home & he absolutely loves having other dogs come to stay and/or join in on our daily adventures. Since covid hit he especially loves that I am a work from home dog mom now and we take a considerable amount of additional walks/hikes/bike rides each day. I would welcome anyone who is looking for Daily walks/adventures as well as longer term pet sitting to reach out as I would love to watch your furry friends. My dog Pilot would love to meet more friends to play with. Please note: I am unable to accommodate pets with any type of aggressive tendencies. I work full time from home, so your pet will be cared for and with the company of myself and my lab for their entire stay. I have a huge property with a doggie door and live near a variety of trails and lakes that can be accessed right out our door for our exercising adventures

About: I’ve shared my life with dogs for over 25 years and have been pet sitting for nearly as long. I have over 10 years of experience working in veterinary clinics and have ample experience with administering medications of all kinds—your fur baby’s needs are my top priority! Goose and I lead a very active lifestyle—we walk multiple times daily and spend our weekends out enjoying all that Tahoe has to offer. We always welcome adventure buddies and would love it if your pup wants to be our +1 on our next adventure! I currently work from home 3 days a week. For Tahoe Donner residents, I can take your pup for a midday stroll during the work week (M, T, F). For all other Truckee folks I am available in the evenings on the days listed above and any time on the weekends. When I am spending time with your pup their safety and happiness is my number one priority. Unless a group walk is requested, they will receive one-on-one attention and affection. About: I have 2 Crested Geckos, and have lived with 4 different friends who owned cats. Within the last year I have walked coworkers dogs countless times and have dog-sat for them as well. I have pet-sat for coworkers in their homes from one night, up to one month. I have also volunteered at the Truckee Humane Society for about a year as well. I have flexible but consistent work hours that allow me to create a routine to take care of your pets. I love going for walks with dogs as well as hanging out and giving both dogs and cats the pets they deserve. I care for pets based off of what they need and what they ask of me. I listen to body language to understand what they need. I am content giving pets their space, or giving them all of the pets they want. I also pay extra attention to bathroom cues to limit accidents within the house.

I’ve been lucky enough to have 3 AMAZING huskies and a Pitsky over the last 24 years:) I formerly owned and operated Tahoe Husky Rescue for several years (2015-2018) out of my house in Truckee, Ca. During that short time, I rescued 92 huskies out of kill shelters in California and Nevada and helped re-home approximately 150 huskies (some other breeds as well). I started the rescue out of my pure love for dogs! I’m proud to say that I won Sierra Sun’s “Best of North Lake Tahoe/Truckee” Non-profit in 2016. I also have a large 10’x30’ raised (15’ above the ground) front deck with a doggie door(weather permitting) for your dogs freedom to go in and out of. Dogs are allowed on furniture and in bed. I have experience caring for a variety of breeds/sizes, ages, personalities, and levels of health. Over the past 15 years I have also sat for family, friends, and neighbors. I work remotely for a local company so my availability is pretty flexible and will allow me to be with your pup(s) as often as needed. Safety is my top priority. They will be leashed for potty breaks if there isn’t a fenced yard at home and on walks, especially while exploring busy trails and beaches.
