About: I volunteer at my local animal shelter and I am great with both dogs and cats. I grew up with my cat, Hepsiba, born before me who died when I was nearly 20 years of age. We were best friends before I knew what that was. Then at the age of 12 or so, my parents adopted 2 English cocker spaniels, brother and sister. So I was taking care of three pets. Then I raised my rescued black lab mix from August 2013 until 2025 with some breaks for the US Army. And I taught him very well; he passed in June but he will probably always be my best friend. For a time, I carried him, 120 lbs, up and down flights of stairs. Carefully and comfortably. I’ve taken care of pets for family members and friends. And did so professionally in the past prior to Rover, after friends got me into it. I’m great with animals. After spending even just a short time with them we can often establish a connection or rapport, especially when training a younger pet (or an old dog). I enjoy taking dogs for long walks, I could run with your dog, play with them, but mostly we’ll be doing what they want - within reason. If it could be all I did, all the time - I think that I would like that just fine. I’ll need a heads up at first to secure prep, but after that I could spend virtually all of my time with your companions - needing only to stop momentarily for supplies. Generally, boarding an animal at my own home is a much bigger ask, if it’s to be overnight. But during the day if they were to be transported here and then picked up again, then it’s fairly simple. Massasoit State Park is half a mile from my house and offers a great destination - all the dogs I’ve taken care of and brought there have loved it. At a home that the pet is used to is really a non-issue, (it helps if the owner is there when I meet the companion in question). Overnight and for extended lengths, though - it would only be a matter of making sure I’d have what I’d need for the length of time, so I would need just a little prep time.

“Molly was great with my sometimes difficult dogs. She also tended to my livestock(chickens and sheep). She kept in touch with us while we were gone for 10 days. She sent pics of my animals during my vacation. We were far away in Ireland but I was able to relax knowing she had things under control. Would be happy to have her again!!”

“Madeline is a fantastic pet sitter that takes wonderful care of our dog and cat. She’s quick to respond, and kept us in the loop with how they were doing. Our dog loves having her over. Hands down the best pet sitter we have hired.”

About: Your pets safety and happiness is my top priority. I have experience working in multiple doggy daycares, volunteering at a cat shelter, and pet sitting for friends and family. I am familiar with all types of breeds, big & small, energetic, couch potato, reactive and non reactive. Helping animals has always been a great passion of mine and I strive for new challenges to face. I currently work PT as a Dietary Aid making my schedule very limited monday’s, thursdays and every other weekends. I have more availability on the other days of the week, (walks, drop in visits, and overnight care). Dogs tend to be more comfortable in their own homes so I provide those services to ensure the happiness and safety of all. For every visit, I bring a pet first aid kit, extra leashes, towels, treats, water/water bowls, tick removal kit, pooper scooper, etc. Your pet will receive the spoiled treatment with me!

“Our puppy was so well taken care of while we were away. Rebecca is a very good communicator and was very respectful of our home! Highly recommend!”

Our pups were happy, well-exercised, and clearly well-loved. We highly recommend Alani to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals since childhood — from cats and dogs to goats, horses, birds, and reptiles. I grew up volunteering at farms, sanctuaries, and shelters, gaining hands-on experience with animals of all kinds. Since 2020, I’ve been providing pet care in a more focused, consistent way. I’m confident with asthma meds, general medicine distribution, nail trims, and baths for both small animals and pets of all sizes. Whether it’s a cuddly cat, energetic pup, or shy chinchilla, I meet every animal with patience, care, and respect. • Monday & Tuesday: 8:30am – 8:30pm (full open availability) • Thursday: 8:30am – 7:30pm (full open availability) • Sunday: 4:00pm – 8:30pm (only available after volunteering) I treat every pet like one of my own — with patience, respect, and a calm presence. Whether I’m in your home or mine, I prioritize safety by following routines closely, keeping environments clean and low-stress, and making sure pets always have access to fresh water, comfort, and enrichment. I’m mindful of unique needs like medications, shy temperaments, and special diets, and I always communicate openly so you feel secure and connected while you’re away.

I have my own animals and they are truly my babies, and I promise to ensure the same treatment with your fur babies:) I just graduated highschool, and I’m trying to save as much money possible to fund my college tuition as I am studying Business at the University of Maine! Taunton pet parents share their Rover experiences
We recently had the pleasure of having Rebecca as our dog sitter while we were away, and we couldn't be more thrilled with her service. From the get-go, Rebecca was incredibly responsible and responsive. She provided regular updates, complete with adorable photos of our dog, Archie, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing he was in great hands. A few days before our trip, Archie unfortunately injured his leg and required medication. Rebecca handled this situation with utmost care, diligently following his medication schedule and ensuring he was comfortable and happy throughout our absence. Her attentive nature and genuine love for dogs shone through, and it was evident that Archie was well-cared for. We cannot recommend Rebecca enough! Her professionalism and compassion made all the difference, turning what could have been a stressful situation into a peaceful and worry-free getaway. Rebecca left the house spotless clean. She even picked flowers from the garden and made a little bouquet that greeted us at the table when we returned home! :) Thank you, Rebecca, for taking such wonderful care of our boy!
