“Thanks for a great experience dog sitting my two girls. Another dog sitter had fallen through and I needed to find someone reliable and I found Sylvia and I’m very glad that I did. Thank you for watching them with such short notice and going above and beyond take care of them and give them exercise, as well as taking them to your art gallery event and just including them. I feel like I would highly recommend Sylvia and I hope that I can have you watch the dogs again if we come back to Ashland”

“Samantha was AMAZING! Our dog seemed to get along great with her animals and she was so easy to communicate with. It’s always a good sign when our pup was excited to go back the next day!”

About: Dogs have always been part of my life, we always had a family dog or three growing up. After college I adopted a rescue into my own family. Our current dog Poppy was rescued at 6 months old, and just turned 9 years old. She's been professionally trained in truffle hunting. I'm a retired safety engineer and run a bed and breakfast on our property. This allows me take care of the dogs and the property all day long. We live on a few acres with our rescue dog Poppy. There is a fenced area where the dogs can play safely outside. There's also a large deck that the dogs love watching the wildlife from. I only accept up to two other dogs at a time so it's a quiet and relaxing setting in the country.

About: I’ve had pets as long as I can remember! I have 2 dogs and a cat now and understand the stress of finding a caring home while on vacation. I have experience with the extra care needed for senior dogs (our senior just passed this year. 😢) I work from home and can provide potty breaks for puppies and seniors that can’t hold it like they used to, as well as walks and play time. Being home means full supervision as well as plenty of check in pictures of your special fur baby. I have 2 dogs that will keep your pup company. We also have crates if reinforcing your current crate training routine is required. I do not have a fenced in yard, but live in a quiet community where I take my dogs for frequent walks.

About: Professional kennel free pet boarding and house sitter with over 15 years of experience from brand new puppies to special needs elderly care / physical health demands. Licensed, bonded and insured. Your pet will be treated like my own. I currently have availability to board long term, 7 days a week with pick up and drop offs, daily from 10am to 6pm. No kennels unless not potty trained or you prefer this option for training purposes. We are set up to allow your fur babes to safely adventure, explore and hang out with me as I work from home on my beautiful private secure and relaxing property, conveniently located on the city limits of south Ashland just off I-5 exit 14.

About: Hi! We are enthusiastic dog lovers who will take great care of your furry friend. We both grew up taking care of animals and currently have a five-year-old German Shepherd. Looking forward to meeting you! Brandon works from home, allowing him to keep a close watch on everything the dogs are up to. We are typically available weekends and some weeknights. Our large, fenced backyard is great for playing and exploring. We have a friendly five-year-old German shepherd who is quite tolerant of any and all dogs and would certainly enjoy a playmate.

About: I truly love and care about pets. I will keep an eye out for health issues and make sure your pet is safe and happy. Pets are my life. I have an empty nest so I very much enjoy spending as much time as possible with pets. I love animals very much. I care for every animal as if it were my own. I believe animals should be shown love and kindness. I keep an eye out for any health issues and let the owners know if there are any problems.

“Suzanne went above and beyond. We coordinated a meet and greet before to ensure doggie compatibility. She was great with my service dog who can present highly anxious when she is not with me (her handler). We are rarely separated but hot spring activities here do not allow pets of any kind. This was a perfect way to care for my Coraline and also care for my body. I highly recommend Suzanne. She is super confident and very attentive.”

About: I grew up working at my family’s dog grooming shop. I have seen many breeds and personalities in high stress situations. I have volunteered at the humane society and have taken behavioral dog classes. I have spent years working on my relationship with dogs and understanding them and myself. I’m currently taking a break from the regular 9-5. I am very communicative about my availability. I am also pretty open due to not working. My daily and weekly routine is mostly based on your needs. I have a dog and cat in my house so I prefer pets who are socialized if they are coming to my home. I would give the pet their food to your schedule and amount. I am able and good at helping to administer medications, if needed. I can take them on walks. I’m pretty flexible with adapting to whatever is needed.

About: I have grown up with a house full of dogs all my life! I have had dogs and a few cats as pets for the last 26 years. I watch my friend's and neighborhood pets often and have many hours of care and experience under my belt. I love playing and walking dogs so higher energy dogs are no problem for me! I am available Monday-Friday 6-9pm. I am available most weekends (Saturday and Sunday) all day. Please just shoot me a message for my availability and I am happy to chat further. I have a large fenced backyard with grass for doggie play time and exercise! At client houses, I will let the dog out as needed for play time and potty breaks. If your dog requires dog walks or extra play time, this is no problem!

“I couldn’t have asked for a more lovely couple to watch our lil man. They were warm and welcoming - our guy was comfortable right away and had a great time playing and cuddling with them in their puppy-perfect home. We look forward to seeing them again! A++”

“Pirate had an amazing time! I felt at ease and got awesome pics too. He had other pups to play with, and he lo oked like he was at home!! Thank you so much!”

Travis P.
“Travis is the perfect person for all dogs especially seniors. Travis is very attentive to our senior dogs whom have special needs. For example, our eldest chihuahua baby is very picky at who she trusts and he stepped right in, established trust and was able to hold her in times she needs to be lifted up and down the stairs. He always delivers medications on time and is wonderful with specified feeding times and foods. He’s confident and aware of dog behaviors and needs. We love when he watches our fur babies!”

Deanna H.
“I highly recommend Deanna for watching anyone’s pets. I have a three-year-old Belgian Malinois and Deanna is the ONLY person I trust watching her. Deanna is very well-versed in training dogs and has an uncanny ability to create a bond of trust and respect with them right out of the gate. If you need someone to watch your pets, she would be the first person to call!”

Krista V.
“My dog poppy has separation anxiety, but since I started taking her to kristas for daycare she's made a lot progress! Krista is attentive and full of energy. She keeps up with and engages my dog and even sends me pictures of the activities they do! Krista is flexible with schedule and I'm happy knowing my dog is being interacted with in a loving environment all day opposed to being locked in a kennel like some daycares.”

Emma & Brandon K.
“Emma and Brandon are truly some of the most loving, caring, gentle, and supportive people I've ever met in my life. They are incredible pet caretakers, I couldn't imagine anyone more qualified, attentive, or trustworthy to entrust my little furry friend to. No matter the type of pet or their unique needs, if Emma and Brandon are taking care of them, you can rest assured they're in the absolute best hands. I trust them implicitly and recommend them without hesitation!”
